Rude and bizarre customer service. I asked if I could get two five dollar bills with my cash back, and suddenly I was in an argument with the cashier…? When I let her know my preference, she responded that she wasn’t sure what was in the register and would give me whatever she had. That was ok with me, and I just said, “Ok, *if* you have a couple fives that would be great.” She suddenly got really grouchy and threw her hand up at me. I was super confused, and tried to tell her “Hey, even if you only have ones that’s ok,” but she angrily counted out the money and complained that I was “pushing” her. Again, I tried to explain that I’d just wanted to make sure she knew my preference. But I’d already been blacklisted. She wouldn’t listen and just repeated that I was being pushy. There was nothing I could say at that point to make things friendly. Kind of inexplicable, but unpleasant enough to stay with me when I left…there’s a Walgreens down the street and I’m fine walking another block to avoid weirdly combative customer service.

I used to respond to Rite Aid’s surveys praising this store, but what used to be the best pharmacy in the area has sadly become the worst. They used to be so fast any prescription would be filled within an hour of my doctors ordering them, and even faster if I filled them in person. Now they either don’t fill them at all when I order a refill, or they take days to refill them, or they don’t refill them until I call (at times calling twice) and prompt them again. It would take several paragraphs to outline all of the problems I’ve been having here, but suffice it to say mistakes, delays, and inconsistencies have plagued every experience I’ve had at this store for the last five or six months. It’s tragic how far they’ve fallen so quickly.

Im 7 days in with no cover test result. even better the pharmacist tells me that she cant help me. At all. Theyve outsourced their testing to a third party and its a joke.

Horrible customer service. In the email that was sent it said I would get my covid test results in 1-3 days, however I was told after the test that it would take 2-5 days. The delay was ok but the customer service is what really wrecked my mood.

I used to love walking around this store and picking up this or that after retrieving the packages I always had sent to their Amazon Hub Lockers, but no longer. The store doors were locked at 4:50pm last Sunday, despite the posted store hours indicating that they close at 5pm on Sundays. An event of mine was ruined because I could not pick up an Amazon item, so yeah, I will no longer be giving my business to a store that cant even abide by their own opening and closing hours.

The pharmacists and assistants are the best!

I actually praise this Rite Aid and love picking up my medication from this store because I know how wonderful the customer service is here. The pharmacy staff members are always extremely patient and informative.To the Rite Aid Pharmacy staff,You’re the real reason people come to this Rite Aid!

I truly don’t understand the negative reviews that are commented about this Rite Aid. I personally have never experienced such genuine customer service. The entire pharmacy staff is absolutely phenomenal and needs to be recognized. They are extremely caring and helpful with any questions I have regarding medication, and they are always extremely friendly. I actually went to the pharmacy earlier today to pickup needles for my diabetic cat, and the pharmacy informed me that my script was shipped late from the supplier, so they provided me a short term supply until my syringes come in. I am extremely grateful, my cat is extremely grateful, and I couldn’t be happier. A huge thank you to the Rite Aid pharmacy staff for all you do.

This store was once a shining jewel of professional, competent healthcare and successful business within Wilkinsburg. But, key to that success was the former Pharmacist-in-Charge, Tom. He had a wildly impressive clinical knowlege, business savvy, and interpersonal skills. He is someone whose hands, as a medical professional myself, I had no qualms about placing my life into. As someone who brought new meaning to one man band, Tom managed to keep the flow brisk and efficient; and he did so without sacrificing quality for quantity. Without him, and with the new antisocial and disengaged team working there currently, the store has lost both quality and quantity. The pharmacists seem unwilling or able to form connections or make bonds with their patients, and the store in general cannot turn around prescriptions in a reasonable period of time. Sadly, without him this Rite Aid will likely become what many other Wilkinsburg business are now termed - out of business. I do not know why he left, but whoever the supervisor is that didnt do everything within their power to keep such an obviously gifted asset should be seriously questioned as both a clinical and a businessperson. I would not longer recommend this store to patients or loved ones.

They follow black ppl around a whole lot in this store. The classic scan security on every aisle. I have sent ppl here just to check and they do it all the time. The lady was counting drawer and came outta office to watch. The stories I get about the black lady showing up on the aisle is getting to be very funny seems nobody likes going here because of her. Sadly I think that is why it is constantly empty all the time.

No one is answering the phone we have been back and forth 3 times and still no prescription! Our insurance company had to call on our behalf and that still never answered the phone! This store either needs more staff or should be shut down! The pharmacy is ridiculous!

This place is horrible service once it comes to their western union! Because they wouldn’t even give me a low amount of $50 out the drewer when they opened!!! It’s only $50 they made me wait till customers rang up things for me to get my money.... ridiculous!!!! So don’t come here for your western unions pickups or sending....

They are all always polite and very helpful in whatever it is that I need.

By far the worst Rite Aid ever. At first it was terrible how they would con you to come to a store via their sales ad and then force you to buy something else. To get this BOGO deal youve got to buy baby diapers and cough syrup (of their choice). It was ridiculous.Now my mother gets her medication from here due to her switching over to Medicare its horrid! One minute theyre saying they never filled her prescription and shes been with them now almost 2years, theyre saying they have something when they dont and how many days and weeks itll take to get it. They even raise the price and say how she doesnt have insurance or how this hasnt been paid. They even call the doctors and talk crazy to them. The so called pharmacists are rude and inconsiderate. Last time I was there the woman stared at me and ignored me for 15minutes. I was the only person in line.They really need to fix up management here. Its less than poor.

Slow. Slooooooow Extremely slow.Nobody in the store. Two people working in the pharmacy and it still took 30 minutes to get a flu shot. Cells divide faster than vaccines are administered here.
