DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. I spent three days going back and forth for an insurance claim only to have them refuse to do the work once the claim was approved. They refused to do the approved work because they claimed the person they had look at my vehicle and who was WORKING behind the counter was not qualified to look at my car. However, the three mechanics that looked at my car and were working on other cars were not qualified either? Beyond this, the whole atmosphere was disorganized and unprofessional. Take your work to someone you can trust to not waste your time. Also, in response to any shallow contact us and we are sorry remarks from the Monroe manager on my review; that means nothing. It is only to appear competent.

This place used to me good until their best mechanic apparently left.

Went for brake service and was promised my car back at a specific time. Not only did they NOT get it back to me, they started to do more work without even consulting me. They compd the unapproved service and promised me the next job free. But then I get a certificate in the mail for $50 off the next service instead. Whatever, not going back!

No delay on my appointment. Thay didnt check brakes,transmission fluid, coolent, tires pressure and wipers

Went in for an oil change and found staff to be polite. Service was quick and accurate. They did a safety check and recommended front brakes. I will be back! Thank you!

Horrible experience. This is the 3rd time I have went there and had issues. The counter guy didnt even try to offer me help after I had a little mistake. Just sent me on my way without trying to help just watched me walk out of the door. Never agaim will I step foot in this place or recommend somebody to go there!

No advice on what was wrong. Just told we would have to replace the whole system and thats all they would tell me. Not coming back here.

Jose the Store took me right in and got my oil change completed quickly. Even though the car is brand new he made sure everything looked perfect. My first time in was a great experience. Tim was really helpful and informative. Took the time to explain some of the issues my car was having and gave me a realistic time frame on when it needed to be fixed and didn’t push me to do anything I couldn’t afford. He was able to price some things out for me so I would know what to expect. When I told him I was looking to buy a new car he gave me some advice and told me he would be happy to look at any car before I bought it. Would definitely recommend and will be going back!!

I went back after being at this location 3 years ago. Then my muffler I had a holes in it and was repaired on the spot. I dont recall the cost but it seemed reasonable at the time. Given the high quality customer service back then I decided to swing by for an oriole change and if an assessment of a few things. They were incredibly courteous, professional, honest, helpful, and its hard to say enough good things about the service. The oil change was reasonable and one of the guys spent 5-6minutes explaining exactly what something was.I almost thought this awesome customer service was because I tried to talk their language, which they seemed to appreciate although they could have fooled me, but when a lady came in behind me complaining of a bad battery, they spent an equal amount of time on her. I heard the price and (because I replace my own batteries and return old one to Costco) it was more than fair with the service. She mentioned that they do her oil changes too. I only wish I lived closer. Jose, I think is the managers name, and his team (of one today) were really really helpful. Thank you again for the help and honesty.

My girlfriend just got an oil change and it was fine for about two hours and all of a sudden her check engine light, oil light and battery light came on and then her steering wheel locked and her car died. We opened the hood and she checked her dip stick and she had absolutely no oil in her car at all. Checked everything else, everything was fine. Called Monroe, they said to drive it back to them and they would “check it out”. Can’t drive a car that has no oil in it. I absolutely do not recommend them at all, not worth the waste of money and time.

Couldnt even properly balance tires.

Went in for an oil change - $15 coupon. Ended up spending over $200 because of a replaced thermostat. Nice staff. They were able to replace the thermostat and it added an extra hour to my appointment. As with all car repairs/service - one is hopeful the repair is needed. I went to Monro in the first place because Jiffy Lube said I needed new brakes and Munro said my brakes were fine.

Monro was great— my car had multiple issues going on that were difficult to figure out. The staff worked tirelessly to solve the problem and gave me a fair price. I came in because I heard a clunking noise every time I went over even the slightest bump in the road. The staff at Monro realized it was the bushing on the left control arm, and replaced it quickly. My car runs great now with no noise and no issues.

Scheduled an oil change for an open time slot they had available at 9am 10/23/19. Arrived at 9 am for them to tell me they had to change the time to 7:30. No phone call to tell me otherwise. When I asked if he could squeeze me in real quick he said nope youll have to reschedule and drop the car off, 4 guys working and one car in the bay and they couldnt squeeze me in and do a 15 minute oil change! Rediculous! find that hard to believe. Very unprofessional. My family and friends have been going there for years. We will not be returning to that place again.

I been going to Monro for over two years and I love the service there. Employees are welcoming and nice. They also take their time and explain the work process. The main reason out of many reason I always go to Monro is they get the job done correctly the first time!!!

Im actually STILL sitting in their lobby area as I write this, watching as the mechanics take yet another smoke break to laugh and joke, as if they dont have a customer here waiting. Ive been here since 10:30am... Its now 6:15pm and it has taken 8 hours for the mechanic here to replace a wheel bearing. Just one wheel bearing, not two, not three but a single wheel bearing. I will NEVER come here again and will make sure to let everyone I know about this experience. I literally shouldve driven to NYC to have this replaced. Because it wouldve been faster. Something that should take max 4 hours to complete, has caused me to reschedule appointments and my entire day; and after arriving for my 12:30 pm appointment early, I am the last person left here. Its 6:26 pm and Im finally leaving. Thanks for nothing.

Got an exhaust system done yesterday. When I call to ask if it was read they said almost so I waited an hour and went back. When I got there they still had tons of work to do. I waited over 3 hours for them to finish and there was only one person work who kept stopping doing work on my car to do others. The work is bad .. this was all yesterday. So now I have to call them and see if they can fix it since i paid 500+ and exhaust its almost touching ground

Today I went to get my tires changed because I was slipping around last snow storm and they were honest and told me I didnt need tires yet, I greatly appreciate their honesty, so I got a coolant flush done Ive been meaning to do instead, thanks!

Driving too work my brakes went on my truck. Had it towed to Monroes my husband called and told them what happened and explained that he is disabled and we were down to one auto to get me to work and him to the doctors Tim wasted no time fixed the brakes from top to bottom. He also did the over due oil change. Had it ready for us by the time I was out of work. We only had half the money until payday but they trusted us for the rest so my husband would not have to miss his doctor appointments. Tim was very good to us and we are forever greatful. I highly recommend Monroe the staff are great and they do a great job.i will always bring my auto repairs to them for now on.

Went to get a new exhaust system because they one they installed a year and a 1/2 earlier rusted through. Drop off the car told me would be a few hours I called back and they said it will be done soon so I go back an hour after they told me and it still wasnt done I had to sit and wait for 3 hours. The next day I call because the exhaust they just Installed was hanging too low so I needed them To just put it up a little bit so it wasnt so close to the ground .. Well I go today to have them raise it up a little bit which they do within a 1/2 an hour, when all done I get in the car drive it 15 and its making a really badd thumping noise so I bring it back because I was only 15 away,3 hours later after numerous times of cutting and welding a what I thought was brand new exhaust still the thumping is gone but now the whole car vibrates and shakes and louder than when it was to begin with. Long story short they want me to bring it back again and wait another 6 or 7 hours to fix it with as I was told the right parts this time . This is ridiculous do not bring your car there this place should be shut down.

Last week, I had my car worked on by Monroe, specifically Tim Regan, and they gave me the clear that it was safe to drive. It was fine for a while, but then yesterday my check engine light came on, so I stopped by around 11:00 today to see what was wrong. Tim came in and hooked up an orange tablet-like divice, and out of nowhere, all the dials on my car went haywire and dropped to zero, my dashboard losing power as if it had been turned off. It said service airbag, service stabilitrack, service tire indicator, all lit up and flashing. This had not been going on when I came here. When I told him about all these new problems popping up, he said they had already been there - which is untrue. When I told him that there had not, in fact, been all those lights on, he raised his voice at me and said words very unsuitable for a working environment. I feel unsafe driving my car now because he worked on it. If you want guaranteed good service and actual work done to your car, don’t go to Monroe.

Got an oil change and tire rotation for $23. It also included 2 windshield wiper blades which I didnt take. Good deal and honest people.
