My wife purchased some skincare items for herself and our teen daughter, the skincare did not work for their super sensitive skin. My wife had the stuff just there and not knowing what to do with them we googled their return policy! We went to return the items and Samantha was our cashier. She was maybe on training, but the other person showing her what to do was kind and helpful too. I love that Ulta cares about keeping customers happy and keep them coming back, because now my daughter and wife just love that they do not have to be fearful of trying products that might be expensive but do not work and just lose their money, they feel they can try and listen to the ladies recommendations and always do what is best for their skins because if it doesnt work, we dont loose our money! It gives customers the secure feeling that no matter what product we want to try if it doesnt work, Ulta has our back! My wife purchased an eye cream at Sephora, and close to 3 months she still had over half of the cream but it started itching around her eyes, but she lost the money because the return policy is not to benefit the customer, so my wife and daughter are now loyal to Ulta! I even purchased a perfume there with all the waiting for my ladies to look at all the stuff they were looking at!

Went to Ulta today at Rock & Kellogg, and I was super satisfied. If you need assistance, go see Amir on the weekends. He was utterly fabulous with loads of patience. He got all my colors first shot!!! He has 12 years of experience in cosmetics, and it truly shows. McKenzie checked out my purchases. She was very friendly, fast, and has a great personality. She asked questions about my purchases to ensure I was absolutely sure on everything. Amir stayed with me throughout the whole process making it a more smooth transition. The manager I spoke with was great. I did not catch her name, but she has long brown hair and was super helpful. Definitely will be back thanks to these 3!!!!

They refuse to let me use the bathroom. Hope nobody else starts their cycle and has to leave in shame. Dont take kids in, they may not be able to hold it until you can get elsewhere.Im done with Ulta. Instead of offering me great customer service, they just watched me like I was going to steal something.

Nice clean store, but my opinion their items could be better organized and certain areas with specific products need to be marked better. I was looking around for a good 10 minutes or more trying to find an eyebrow wax wand kit to do my eyebrows. Just when I was about to give up looking a nice helpful employee helped me find the area to discover it wasnt restocked yet and kindly went to the back to find what I was wanting. Other than walking around lost for over 10 minutes, it was a good experience. I recommend this store. They have fair prices and a large variety of makeup and such.

Went into this location for a trim and color. Showed her the picture of what the cut was I currently wore. She said she understood the cut (pretty easy since that’s how it was already cut, just wanted it trimmed). She wanted to double check what length I wanted. I showed her the picture again and said just like this. Well, she basically cut it straight across cutting off my layers and making my hair uneven. She had me where I couldn’t see in the mirror, next thing she was curling my hair so I didn’t notice how uneven or short she really cut it until I got home. It was awful. I had to go some where else the next day to have it fixed. I talked with the manager and she offered a discount on my next hair cut. I paid around $150 for them to mess up my hair and I get offered a discount for the next hair cut. I have no hair left to cut (will take at least a year or longer to get it to the length it should have been trimmed to) and why would I want a discount for another hair cut from them. I am a diamond customer (to be diamond you have to spend $1200 a year in their store) and have been with Ulta for years and that is the best they can do? How about my money back since I had to go somewhere else and pay to have it fixed? Nope just a discount. I won’t be back to this location and maybe not another Ulta store again. FYI the highlights she put in were uneven and basically cut out when I went to have the hair fixed so that was a waste. (I did not provide the girls name for a reason, I’m not.out to hurt her but just beware going to this store at this location)

This was my first time in. It was love at first sight. Anything I need all under one roof. Loved the fact that there where samples for you hold and touch to make sure the product was right for you. Employees where amazing checking in from time to time. Very nice and sweet people. I will definitely be shopping here from now on.

They have so many different items that it makes our trips here very lengthy from all the browsing. Not horrendous in prices either.

Couldve been more help full. We said we had a budget of 40$ to get under the product that help care for under your eyes and she showed us something that was 50$ after taxes.

Placed an order at this ultra last week, for what I thought would be curbside pickup. Arrived at the store and parked right in front. I could see a good portion of the store from my car. There were 3 customers total inside, and two workers. One worker standing behind the counter and the other helping a group of two. I called the number for curbside pickup as instructed and the phone just rang continuously until going back to the menu. Mind you, I can see one of the associates standing behind the register. I hang up and wait a couple of minutes, during which time the associate who was previously helping the group of two stops and moves towards the front of the store. After about 2 minutes I call again and the same thing, endless ringing until it loops back to the menu. Thinking I called the wrong number, because I can clearly see them just standing there I double check and call for the third time. No answer, so obviously I go inside. I walk in and the associate who had been standing behind the counter begins to help a lady who just got in line and the other helps me with my order. I ask her if curbside pickup is still available at this location and she says “yes, you just have to call.” I told her I called three times and no one answered. She responds with “Oh, well there’s only two of us so we must have been busy.” Not sure if she was aware I sat there and watched them do nothing while I called multiple times, but clearly she didn’t care. Anyways, curbside pickup is obviously hit or miss based on if the workers want to do their job.

Very pushy sales people. Items are more expensive than anywhere I have shopped. Won’t go back into any Ulta Beauty ever again.

Amazing! I spent over $1000 last month and I always like to window shop till I buy something here. Kylie Skin is soooo amazing on my skin! Also the Liquid Gold Collagen that they discontinued and marked down also made a huge difference on my skin so I don’t know why they discontinued it other than 10 shot bottles costing $50 every week. They marked it down to $13 a box and I bought 13 of them from 21st and Maize after I bought 2 from here. I got really lucky for this deal and it helped boost my skin from 5 to impeccable. I love the women that work there and at all Ulta Beauty stores because they show sportsmanship to everyone that comes in there. I feel at home when I’m there. I’m already saving a ton with their rewards program too!

This place is terrible and so are the employees. If you have questions about a product just save it because the staff is not knowledgeable. I straight up left and went to Sephora on north Rock Rd and was pleasantly surprised. The employees at Sephora were knowledgeable, and friendly! They were just so helpful and kind unlike Ultas employees. At Sephora I recieved a healthcare discount, a birthday present, and some great samples!!! After my experience with Sephora I will never step foot into another Ulta😁

Always have something you want but not all of it

I used their curbside and after waiting 5 minutes, I called and she said she needed to wait until the notice came in before they could bring it out. Then the other girl insinuated that I might have the wrong store and then told me there were times she waited 20-30 minutes for service. If I had to wait 10 minutes you would never get my business again. I will buy from your Greenwich store next time.

I dont personally shop much but Ive walked along carrying bags for a lot of years. I see a lot of stores. This one tends to be clean, the women there are friendly without being intrusive and everything always looks well-stocked. Apparently the selection is good because I never leave without another bag to carry.

Brought my 1 and A half year old who loves makeup because it’s easy to hold and pretty to look at and immediately get harassed by an employee who didn’t even try to make it a secret that she was following me around as I heard her say into her headset “calling all security on the floor”. I wanted to enjoy my time spent there but felt so awkward and annoyed that I left with things I didn’t even like that I got off the clearance aisle because that was the only place she wasn’t looming over me.

Id shop here if they hired people with a sense of what customer service is. They dont even try to help if I ask them a question. I asked a girl to match me to a foundation and it took her less than a minute to point at one and say mmmm...this looks like your shade and its a good brand.Thennnn, last time I was in I stood in line and the girl at the counter kept calling people who were behind me up to pay...she was expecting her coworker to help me but her coworker was busy helping someone else with something else behind the counter. I just went to sephora at the mall where all the ladies are helpful 🙃

I was in this store around 6:00pm and I had just a lip injection by too faced they were following me thinking I was going to steal JUST BECAUSE I HAD A PURSE! I literally bust my butt off at work to buy stuff I don’t steal from anywhere!! I even heard an employee tell another employee “follow that girl with the purse” this is ridiculous!!

Employees aren’t very friendly, and they follow you around to make sure you aren’t stealing anything. Especially the person doing security. I always end up leaving before I have everything I want because I feel so uneasy in this store.

WOW, just WOW!!! I got off work and went in there still wearing my vest and boots because I work in a warehouse. As soon as I walked in they looked at me as if I was homeless and started treating me like I was going to steal something. Every move I made the fat girl with black hair and caked on makeup was right there! She even made up some line to say, Were you looking for witch hazel?, just to check and see what I was doing. I didnt even buy the foundation I wanted because she wouldnt leave me alone and stop following me. I said I had enough of the harassment and went to the bathroom while my boyfriend checked us out. Then when my boyfriend got to the counter the blonde girl said the card wasnt working and there must be no money on it all snobby. Then finally she pushed a button on her keyboard and Oh its working now. Listen, girls..... I make more money than you so you can stop with your high horse. You wouldnt last a day at my job. I dont know what the problem is with these new employees you have but they need to go. I have been in there numerous times and never have I had a problem with the employees until now. NEVER going back!

They dont pressure you into buying. They give lots of help when I need it! They even went in back to see if they had more of something I wanted and wasnt on the floor. I didnt have to ask them to look. Ive always had an awesome experience here.

Hi, I usually don’t write reviews but I have a story I have to tell. Most of the workers at this location haven’t been really rude but also not exactly helpful. I went in there last Saturday and the worker named Hayli asked me if I needed help, I definitely did. I was looking for a concealer that wouldn’t make it obvious I have a drinking problem, she lead me to NARS, which I hadn’t really heard good things about but once I put it on it looked like I had the most expensive skincare routine on the planet. Either way this concealer changed my life and I know I’m dramatic but I love it, thank you to Hayli for not only being hilarious but super helpful.

This store is so bad, there’s a reason they have such a low rating. Everything that’s been previously said is true the employees act as if they are above you ( you work retail honey) they pressure you into buying makeup, constantly follow you around Especially the super tall woman with black hair. They are rude. Drive a few more miles to the store off greenwhich, it’s way better.

This store is nothing like it used to be. I actually enjoyed going in about 2-3 years ago. Employees had enthusiasm, always had some kind of events on Saturdays. Now when you come in no one greets you, or asks how you are doing. Was stared at by employees but never once asked if I needed help. This place is also always low on staff. Employees also never let customers know when they have points to use, could have used $9.00 off today with my points but they didn’t tell me until after my purchase and instead of returning my items and letting me re buy them so they can add my points they just told me to use them another time. Horrible customer service.

Best place if you are looking for trial samples. They have a wide range of beauty products for men and women. They also have a hair saloon inside.

This place keeps getting worse with each visit. Today I went and none of the ladies greeted me. I needed help finding two things. They acted as if I were inconveniencing them by asking for help. They also just said they did not have the items, which was a lie. I ended up finding one on my own. The other the girl said the product was discontinued or I could get it online, which I knew was another lie. I ended up finding it with the help from a customer. To make it better, it was a product that was on display!!! These people get an F for customer service. Lazy and useless!

Friendly staff and was willing to help you find what you are looking for. I had someone match me for foundation unfortunately it didnt work out for me but I was able to shop around and find something different myself.

Good selection and download app for coupon to use every visit

After a year of growing out my hair I finally got it to the length where it stops in the middle of my back. I went to their salon and asked for a trim with a bit of layers explaining to her that I did not want her to cut my hair too short. The hair stylist decided to cut it short and kept cutting it after it was blow dried because it looked unevenleaving my hair to be shoulder length and choppy. The stylist said my hair is still at its original length which was not true. I have never cried so much about it considering how long it took for me to grow out my hair and usually I dont get that upset about hair. I probably have to wait another year to have it long again. In the meantime I have to tie my hair up so I wouldnt have to think about how horrible it looks.

Reading the latest reviews made me convinced that the experience with the personnel I had on my visit to the store on 6/15 is habitual. I am a frequent online Ulta shopper. Since I have back injury, buying online is a more convenient option for me. In addition it offers much larger variety - things you cant buy in the store. The only minus is that you cant try the product prior purchasing, which may result in returning the item back. I didnt like some of the items I purchased online and I brought them back to the Wichita Eastgate Plaza store. I did have a prior return experience in this store (happened only once in the last 3 months) and I didnt have any problems. Sadly the personnel treatment on 6/15 was quite the opposite. When I approached the cashier (one of the store managers, tall with black hair), instead of greeting me she went with quite a harassing statement. She said she needs to check my account whether I have a return limit set, since I am returning online purchases in store. Just to clarify - I always return items in sealed condition with the gift w/purchase included. She acted very rude, like I am abusing the system or something. I answered that this is the second time in 3 months I am returning and according to the Ulta policy there should be no reason for the rejection for the items purchased within 60 days period. After she checked my account, she processed the return.I understand that every return is a loss to the company. Especially when people return open packages and so forth. I am not the one to teach you how to do your business - you went succesful pretty quick. However instead of allowing the customers to abuse the system - how about to set stricter policies and to invest in some training of your employees on how to be polite and welcoming?? Made a hair appointment to get a cut and color. The stylist met me after about 20 mins of waiting and proceeded to tell me she didnt have time to do my hair. This was after someone said she would be with me in 15 mins. I was told she tried to call me twice but she couldnt reach me. Probably because no one asked if my information was still current. My phone number has changed. She then offered to stay later if it was for my roots. At this point I was done.Im licensed and have worked in a salon before but didnt want to color my hair this time. I just went to a professional beauty supply store and did the color myself. What a complete waste of my time. Ill go to Eric Fisher for my salon needs.

If you like makeup and have never been here you MUST go!! The best part of Ulta is they let you try on their makeup. They have small bottles you can sample foundations to take home. Idk if theyre all up for grabs but i grabbed some of the derma blend to bring home. I fell in love and bought one. I love this store.

I had a coupon that wouldnt work for what I wanted and while thats not the employees fault he was really rude about it. No one acknowledge us the entire time. Was trying to shade match a foundation and find a new brand because Ive been a loyal Sephora shopper. Overheard an associate tell another customer she couldnt shade match because their return policy is too lenient. Walked around several aisles trying to find someone who wasnt more interested in moving their products than the actual customers. Will continue to shop at Sephora instead.

Horrible experience with the salon with Catherine. Wanted my hair dyed to match my roots and left with almost black hair with a horrible red tint, I went back to get it corrected and she argued that my roots were that color and her attitude was awful. She then color matched to a new lighter color and APPLIED IT OVER THE DARK COLOR, she didnt lighten it or anything. The color was not changed except the red tint was gone. It wasnt even worth addressing a second time, I will try to go somewhere else and have it fixed. There was $60 completely wasted.

Went to the ladies at mac in Dillards at town east and was helped right away. I will never go back to ulta again.

Not going back to this location.Today I visited Ulta to purchase foundation for a special event this weekend. I dont wear high end foundation, I dont know how to pick the right one, I dont know the differences between them, etc. All I knew was that I want something that would give a flawless look and that would not make me look extra oily. The first woman to help me was nice and after her help I continued to browse through the foundations. The second girl who helped me was also nice but I wasnt convinced yet and continued to browse. I came across a foundation I really liked, tried to match and apply it myself, and asked the first woman if it looked okay. She said it looked great so I went to check out. At the register was the second woman who helped me and I could feel her just staring at my face. It felt really awkward since I was kind of self conscious about the foundation I had just applied. She didnt say anything so I left. Well, driving out in the sun I could see blatanly clear that this foundation was way to dark. So I drove back. When I walked in I saw the second woman to help me, and realized I had brought in the wrong product to exchange so I stepped out to grab the right one. When I came back in, I saw her whishpering to another employee who then looked at me, looked away and giggled. (I had already removed the foundation before I got back fyi) So I immediately felt like they were talking about me. I walked up to the second woman who helped me and she said Oh youre returning it? I knew it wasnt going to work I knew that wasnt your color. So I said why didnt you say something then? She didnt answer me. She let me try the one she suggested before and I bought it and left. But I wont ever go back there again. I felt so embarrased and knew in my gut she was talking about me to other employees. The only reason I gave this two stars was because I had been here previously and the employee working at the time honored a coupon for me.Edit: I notified corporate and within maybe an hour the manager of the store had called to apologize. So I do appreciate That the company is eager to resolve customer issues.
