I have been in the store and had fast and efficient service. However on my last trip they told me about their monthly repair service with remote access to fix your computer problems if you need it. I paid for this service and a few months later while out of town, my computer needed attention. After calling they informed me it would take two days to remote access my computer. When I mentioned that was not told to me when they sold it, they were just like ohhh well.... SAVE YOUR MONEY, MONTHLY SERVICE PLAN IS NOT WORTH IT.

Nate at Ribbit Computers was very helpful. I needed to factory reset an older tablet and spent an entire evening trying to figure it out. He had it done in under 5 minutes, no charge. Definitely going to Ribbit for any other computer service needs.

Dont bother trying to order from their online store if you arent from Wichita! They force you to make an account and then send you an email telling you they wont ship to you. Really makes you wonder why they have an online store to begin with.

My wifes Macbook Pro needed some new speakers as they sounded terrible and the guys at Ribbit got it done in a couple days. Everything sounds good so far! They were very friendly when I was in there. If I had decided not to go with them after getting the estimate to replace the speakers, I would have been pretty frustrated having to pay $60 inspection services or whatever its called. But anyways, glad I went with them and they did a nice job.

Had a motherboard that appeared to be faulty, but turned out it was a compatibility issue with the CPU. Thanks to Ribbit, they had diagnosed my issue within minutes and I was able to order an appropriate CPU

I had a bad experience with the store I was ripped off 65 dollars upon a return told I would receive a check in the mail today upon a return nothing came in the mail today I over priced everything told there is a restocking fee and then taxes left with nothing they were acting kind of weird when going about things super unprofessional dont recommend this place

Would be easier just to open your window and throw money out than buy something here. They do not stand behind their products but theyll charge $60 to tell you whats wrong with it. Ive spent $160 on experienced computer techs that told me quite simply that its a POS. Amazingly enough this so called computer in gets worse all the time!

Building my first pc myself but just couldnt quite get it done. so I came in to get some assistance and luckily JD was there and knocked everything out for me and gave me tips on cable management and everything. This store is wonderful! If you have a question... any question at all... they are willing to help. I have come here with problems that most people might be able to fix on their own, and they did their magic and had it fixed in less than 5 minutes at no charge.

Very snotty personel I understand they dont have a public restroom but if Im in their spending 350 bucks on a computer and my wife really has to go I think there should be some concessions and on top of that when I get home and hook my computer up I have no cord power cord for my monitor other than that good products

The staff is infectiously nice and they are willing to help with any question asked. If they do not know the answer they use every tool to get you the answer. I recommend them for all computer and technology questions and needs!

I was perfectly happy with my anti virus software that I’d used for years. I bought a new computer from Ribbit and they insisted that I use a software called Avast. My guess is that they received a commission on sales.... I subscribed to Avast per their enthusiastic, almost pushy recommendation and it seemed to work OK, but when I cancelled it, they kept billing my credit card. This has gone on for almost TWO YEARS and Avast keeps processing cancellations but doesn’t actually CANCEL the fees. I reached out to Ribbit for help and they said “that’s between you and Avast”. They said “We USED to sell Avast, but they started doing some bad things”...Well, GREAT... Good to freaking know.They never offered to help with my problem even though they set me up with the software!Avast has TONS of complaints and is obviously a scam.I should have known better than to take a business named “Ribbit” seriously...Beware of Ribbit and Avast

Wasn’t sure what I needed for my granddaughter to use for education and some gaming. Bought a Dell. Needed a better charger. Took the laptop back and was helped by Jonah who provided the better charger and advice on the best use of our new used Dell laptop, even enlarging the font and icons for an easier read. Very grateful to Ribbit.

I was looking for a used laptop and a used tablet. I found their website and selected what I wanted and went to pay. After the order would not go through multiple times I called them and they told me nothing is being sold on the website now so nothing can be ordered from it. Is it unreasonable to have some kind of indication informing people of that fact? I wasted 2 hours picking what I wanted because they did not take a minute to update their website.

They were able to explain how the hacker got in my laptop so I could understand. They removed it and taught me a few security things to include how to shut my laptop down if it would happen again. They also follow up with me later to see how things were working for me. Excellent professional service. Highly recommend. Will always use this place and recommend to everybody. I do a lot of professional work with technology. Whenever I need a part, cable, etc. These guys are great people to work with. The prices are not too bad, either. I purchased everything, except for a few more specialized components, that I needed for a full live production machine, here. The customer service is pretty great. The know-how of the associates seems reasonably competent and adept. I do recommend these guys for all of your computer needs.

Ribbit was able to look up the battery that I purchased a year ago and get me the same thing, hassle free. They are very helpful and shared their concerns when they opened up my computer. They have always been very helpful.

Ordered a screen for my sons IPAD on June 8th, was told it would take a few days to get it in. 30 days later it finally comes in. I drop off the IPAD to the West store for replacement. 3 days later they call to say the have the screen and to bring in the IPAD which has been there for 3 days. After another 4-5 days I call for a status. They have replaced the screen but broke the home button which worked fine when it was dropped off. Waited for a new one to be ordered and installed. Picked it up today, now the fingerprint reader will not work.

I had no prior knowledge of iPads prior to arriving at the store. I told the rep that and that I was needing help getting a my information put on it. He reset the ipad for me and then in the process completely locked it up so I could never use it again. It was completely ruined. I called the owner to give them a chance to fix their issue and he claimed it wasnt his fault.

My second time at this Ribbit location. I didnt have an appointment, but they fixed my problem and then some. Out the door in one half hour. Great customer service. Highly recommend them!

They refused to assist me with my computer issuesc over the phone, then when I came in they didnt even look at it before taking it. They didnt give me possible solutions. Then took three days just to tell me my hard drive wasnt working. They then charged $64 to pick it up even though they NEVER mentioned anything about a price. It feels as if ive been played for my money

Sadly Ribbit is not what it use to be. Im sure the outbreak has something to do with it but with online orders being as backed up as they are I was really hoping buying local was the way to go but not only was the selection sparse but what they did have was ridiculously overpriced.

Very good service. Went in to sell a laptop that was a fee years old, while they couldnt give me cash i was able to use the store credit to pay for most of the avast anti-virus. Only had to pay the last $10 for 1 year protection for 3 computers! Great staff and did not take too long either

Disappointed. Paid extra to move everything over after changing hard drive so that computer would look same and can find everything. Not done. Told that everything has been saved and can bring it in to make look same again however it’s an hour round trip drive into town. If I knew how to repair computer, I would have done myself. Should take time to make sure user friendly when returned.

Have had several great transactions with Ribbit. I have needed 2 different iPhone screen repairs done. They are affordable, quick same day service. The employees explain the process and options well and I have been extremely pleased with the results. I will always bring my devices here.

They seem to have one of everything; though limited in options for those that know exactly what they need for aged systems (as expected), they do have a variety of stock at reasonable prices. They are a store built for the Do It Yourselfer and custom consumer market, not much for business though.I recommend and would shop the Douglas store again. Buy local.

Tried to find parts to build an i7 desktop. They didnt have what I needed so they wanted to build it for me. After 2 days of tracking down their sales person I was told he would call me later that day with a quote. Never heard from them. Business must be so good that dont need mine. I will certainly accommodate by never setting foot inside their stores again.

Started to change battery in laptop and messed it up. They changed the battery asap and then found that I had lost the little clip for the tape strip for the internal mouse. They found one in the back. Brought in my own battery. Got it all back together. Nicest and most professional people I have ever dealt with. Would not let me pay or even tip the tech. With service like this, I know where my next purchase or service need will be.These guys were outstanding.

Ribbit Computers saved my bacon. I had a hard drive failure on my Apple iMac and their Mac guys had the required tools to get right on the swapping of the replacement drive along with getting me back up and running again. They reinstalled the required Mac OS that I needed for the various programs I was running. Many thanks to Ribbit for the very quick repair to get me back to work.

Graphic designer. Went in for a wireless optical mouse. The only one in the store was decorated for children. Inquired about others. While the customer service rep wasnt rude, he simply said, Were out of them, and walked away. I guess theres always Amazon, Best Buy, WalMart and Target. I just wanted to keep it local. Disappointing.

Update to original review when I must have had a consumer buzz going, and the sober reality wasnt upon me. Still, months down the line, I compare Ribbit to Best Buy and at this point will stick with Ribbit.It is more convenient and personable, with more one on one reality. BUT, and big BUT, the Dell I bought had HARD DRIVE go bad, and then another appoarent issue with it, and I was ready to return it, but that appears to be not so easy to do. Some people think that $500.00 grows on trees. Surely, many trees provide an income for people, but Im trying to be nice and avoid the truth. Computers are a bogus strain on my peace of mind. It is a product needing constant attention and repair. Thats a joke, much like Hillary, Maxine, and the others who will sell any sham dressed as a doll for a price.Dont forget, we have few choices...

I had originally posted a one star review, but am changing it now as I am very satisfied with how my problem was resolved. I purchased a refurbished laptop from Ribbit, and unfortunately the first computer that I received was in bad shape- scratches on the top, and a broken webcam. As soon as I posted my bad experience online though, Alex called me and asked me to come into the store to make it right. He took the bad laptop and exchanged it with no questions or hassle, for a unit in much much better shape. I am pleased with the new computer I have for the price I paid, and am very pleased with the level of customer service that Alex offers in his store. No place is perfect, but at least at Ribbit if they do mess up, they will admit to it and make it right!

Ribbit computers is one of those places I like to just, get lost in and find myself in enjoying the new tech stuff that I at one time considered pie in the sky! I got in to computers when Dos was still a basic operating system, and 768 kb was considerable memory expansion for a desktop. Laptops really did not even make it even for todays tablet usage . Today we truly live in a world far away from buliten boards . and web sites rule the world wide web on the internet . The days of the $300.00 hard drive that had 40 mbs of storage on it, Wich had to be partioned as three logical drives is a thing of the past! Thanks to all responsible for advancing the tech to its present level . Not to even mention processors and todays larger/faster, as well smaller ram. Im just sayn.

I have been here twice for phone screen replacement each time the staff was very friendly fast and affordable one time it only took the team half an hour to replace my phone screen have used those guys before to buy gaming computer for both my kids the friendly affordable and trustworthy go see those guys you want you wont be disappointed.
