Not a bad place at all, I was looking for a particular piece of equipment and found it here. They were very friendly and helpful finding it and had it in stock. It was a little pricey but youll always pay a little extra for the one available immediately. Got what I needed and was back out the door. Cant gripe.

I got a sound system for my new car at car tunes and I LOVE it! This thing shakes the ground man! I can’t stop smiling, the guys at the shop were friendly, knowledgeable and did a quality instillation. Totally went above and beyond, will be recommending this place to friends and family. I was looking for a pair of 6x9 boxes. I called them up and he said they had one pair left for $50. The guy on the phone even double checked. I was at work, so my wife went to pick them up. When she got there, the price jumped $15. Within two hours! My wife called him out on it, and he said they just raised their prices.... a couple weeks ago.Interrupt it how you want, but I wont be stepping foot back in there. Im a big believer of supporting your local business, but I dont support bad business.

Very cool place. I just peeked in to take a look and it was very cool. The man at the desk was helpful and knowledgeable, and had several specific options for my car in stock.

Make sure you know everything you need. They will say they have everything but then youre bill will grow a they come up with items they forgot to make your system work. They will also not back their equipment or labor. Not very impressed with Car Tunes customer service.

If I could give it 0 stars I would but I can’t, their customer service is horrible I got cursed at by an employee over a tiny bit of criticism, they overcharge and sold me the wrong product, I went to different place and paid half of what I was going to pay at car tunes, and the quality is great and I have no issues, I went to return what I bought and didn’t realize there was a no refund policy because they have the sign where you can’t see it and he was rude. I would not recommend this place.

Went here from a recommendation from a friend who also got awesome service. When i first walked in it was super confusing but the employees were super helpful and ready to give me the product that fit my needs all while giving me tons of different pricing options

Brought my forester in for a Pioneer cd/dvd player. Its keeping up really good, looks pretty nice and sounds Awesome! I didnt have a bad experience with customer service at all. My face covers are a little scratch though. Nothing to major or really noticeable but I know it wasnt like that when brought in. So maybe they just need more care when it comes down to the outer look of the face covering. Also, one last thing... there was a mic that came with the Pioneer cd/dvd player that they installed in my car and had to take off the door and roof paneling to mount it on the top of drivers side. Some of my paneling on the top is dent out leaving a crack open for air. I tried pushing it back in but looks like something that might need to be glued or something. I dont know. But I wish they would have asked me if I wanted the mic installed cause I just seen how it looked on the wall, inside the shop--and didnt know a mic was included. If i knew ahead of time, I would have mention to forget the installation of the mic because its pointless when you can just use Bluetooth.I did look around before going to Cartunes and Street beatz was going to charge the same amount but for something that was way more inconvenient. So it didnt make sense for that option.But yes, customer services was nice, no problems or anything like that. Very helpful other than the microphone thing. Maybe installation on cd players is a bit pricey.. I remember when it use to be $80-$90 for installation. But everything works fine and they where also quick with installation. So all in the good.I will be coming back to this store in the future!!!

Im an audio junkie. Ive done a lot of my own work, and I wanted to make sure I went to the best spot in town to take my sound to a new level. I hooked up 2 T2s and had my door panels custom cut to fit 2 speakers in each, which they did seamlessly. They built a crazy display for my amps in the trunk. The only place in Wichita that can give you serious, competition-level sound.

I had a new stereo and backup camera installed in my pickup truck. The staff was very efficient and helpful with the selection and installation. Very friendly and seem very interested in customer service. I appreciate the owner spending time with me reviewing the function of the stereo and assuring all of the functions worked and I understood how to use them. I will definitely return for future services.

The staff are very knowledgeable. Their personalities come off a bit rough but they honestly have great intentions. Prices are reasonable compared to what I found online. They installed the system very fast and the work was clean. I would recommend them and plan on them installing on my other car also.

I had my work done about a month ago. They were able to get me in the same day on very short notice on my part, which I was particularly excited about. They installed my 2 12 kickers and amplifier for a reasonable price. The system still sounds great, and I will definitely be back when I am ready to upgrade again!

I have a restored 71 Chevy pick up....the guys installed all my equipment including a woofer, 2 amps 4 speakers and a deck. They did a fantastic job with the wiring...looks clean professional and it sounds great. Great job guys.....thank you.

Everything is over priced your better off buying your own on line and finding a buddy to help install i paid 3x as much as I feel I shouldve to have some stuff installed that I had bought online. It took the 2-1/2 hrs longer than they said it would (5.5hrs instead of 3). No discounts any where the guy running the front which I assume is the owner was lethargic in every way possible he never seemed interested in any thing I said unless it was about spending more money. To top it all off when I shook kakis hand it was limper than a piece of tissue paper. This offended me more than anything, it meant a lack of respect, and that this guy wasnt worth mine.

I had them install 6 speakers, a sub, an amp, Dynamat, and a touch screen in my Lexus GS350 . I have no complaints. Overall their customers service is world class. Ive had systems installed by other Car Stereo Shop at same area in the past and their service and quality did not come near Cartunes standards.

Had plenty of audio systems done here. Oscar and the guys really know their stuff. The showroom itself is a testament to their professionalism.The garage is clean so you dont feel like they will trash your vehicle. I wont let anyone of my friends and family members go anywhere else. Ive seen too many wack job wiring done from other shops around town that I cant trust my truck with anyone else.

Im glad I found Car Tunes as I am looking for an aftermarket system for an older car that has Android Auto and Apple Car Play. A dude named Khaki, the owner, gave me great service. He knew exactly what I was talking about, showed me the receiver, investigated the kit for my automobile and gave me a price including installation and tax with no surprises. I am definitely going back to get the stereo - just as soon as I have the money. Nice store with good displays. Go local for your aftermarket, auto audio and video.

Very helpful staff, I knew exactly what I was looking for so that made it simple. They have many services available. The best experience I had here is they told me it would take just under an hour to install my stereo and they did it in just 15 minutes. Did a very good and efficient job.

Extremely bad customer service! I had them install my door speakers and all that they do is rattle! Took it back into them to have them fix it and and told me that it was not covered! Even though I bought the speakers and have them install it there! I took it to Street Beats and they not only did they fixed the problem for FREE but they also sold me a nice set of subs for a very low cost!The worst service I think Ive ever gotten

So, we tell them what we needed, receipt shows correct speaker size but he gives us the incorrect size. We found out at the time of installation and had no way to do anything but purchase some right then and there so no time to run across town and was too late. These were a gift so we didnt know until too late. This was their error. We go to get the refund and they refused. This was THEIR MISTAKE! Wont be going back EVER!

I bought SUV that came equipped with a Kenwood Navigation, DVD, It stopped working. I went to Cartunes and they take it out to sent it off to Kenwood for the warranty repair. When the unit was shipped back they promptly called me and had the unit back in and working great. They then took the time to show me some of the cool features on this unit that I would have never noticed. Very happy with the work and taking the time to help me solve my problem. Their charges for all of this work were very fair.

Overall have been disappointed with this store. The only good thing about them is their large selection/show area. Their customer service is extremely poor though. They recommended the incorrect amplifier for the subs I purchased from them along with selling me a sub that was already blown out. They offer NO refunds whatsoever, and only 3 days for exchanges. Their only warranty is on items that they installed. Theyll take care of the manufactures warranty for you, but only for a $45 fee. Only buy from here if youre 100% sure you know what you need and you want to take on the risk of no returns.

Cartunes did a great job on my stereo

Reputable auto repair business purchased an OEM adapter harness and was duped into buying a harness that was 4 times the price of the actual part that was needed. Cartunes would not accept a return and advised the alteration (cutting) of the expensive harness instead of providing the correct part! Very poor customer service, very poor business practices, very poor overall experience. Left with no resolution and with the wrong part they would not take back. Will spread the word within the auto industry not to do business with these jerks. Beware!

I took my 2007 Porsche Boxster for a quality car stereo installation. This Boxster had an old factory system that needed to be improved. friend told me Cartunes had experience working on this model of car so we went there. and they installed Pioneer car stereo model AVHX4800BS. This multimedia unit has an easy to use touch screen and puts out a quality signal for the rest of the car audio system to use. For power we installed the Rockford Amp model T1000X5. This 5 channel Amp powered component speakers all the way around and 10 subwoofer.

Horrible. Car has ben there over six times because of strange noises from the speakers. We dont know we dont know they said. Today they said that at the dealership mounts and brackets were broke installing a stereo. Cartunes refuses to pay for damages they did to a brand new car. Do not trust these snakes!

Terrible customer service!! I had an alarm installed on my car for $220 and while it was in their care one of the employees broke my drivers side door handle. A new door handle cost me $150!!! They did not try to make it right, they did not apologize! Very unprofessional!

This place sucks. Their return policy on any and all of their merchandise sucks. They wont take anything back and if they do, and they will only give you store credit. It is a freaking trap. No matter what you do, they get your money.
