Not sure a negative word can be spoken about this Locally owed lumber yard. Tons of Helpful people. No walking around looking for help!! I had 2 guys helping me as soon as I walked in the door. Worth the drive, if you arent close.

B & B is awesome! Theyve got siding cheaper than the big box stores, and they had the rough cut cedar I was looking for today that the other guys dont even carry.

Some of the best service I have ever received! They had the materials loaded into the trailer by the time I came out with the receipt. In and out in under 5 minutes. They had what I needed when I couldnt find it anywhere else, and at the best price.

God help you if you have to speak or get anything done with Debbie in cabinets. Negative customer service skills and was pointed with her response that Im out of luck in getting shelving for kitchen cabinets. Will never do business with again. Go elsewhere.However, their main customer service people and front of the store people have been awesome to work with. Added two stars for them only.

Compare their prices to big box. B&b prices are way better. The quality of lumber is extraordinary. You can be in and out of there in a matter of minutes not 3 hours

Awesome customer service! Bre helped us pick out my cabinets and had so much patience. We came across an issue with our paint color from another company and at the last minute she went out of her way to make changes to our order for us. There was a great selection of styles and colors to choose from but she definitely was the highlight of our experience.

Priced well and excellent staff

Hard to shop local when the price of lumber is almost double and the quality was equal to and less the big box. Also when the delivery driver is not friendly.

Order some fencing and they got it delivered the next day. Quality is better on pickets than what you will get at the National Stores. Thought it would be more expensive, but was actually less expensive too. I used the 5/8 pickets and 2x4 x 8 stringers in the rough cedar. Good Quality, I was recommended to B&B through a co-worker. Happy w/purchase

Im newer to the DIY scene and needed some lumber for a table and bench set. This place was closer than the big boys (Lowes and HD in particular), and has plenty of good reviews. It was quite easy to get the materials. The store itself is large with plenty of tools for woodworkers, landscapers, and they had an automotive department as well for basic car maintenance. I bought some safety glasses, clamps, and other supplies from them for a reasonable price. A tad bit more expensive than going to a big box store or Amazon, but well worth supporting a local business. After purchasing the wood, I went out to the bays where they have them stored to have them collected. I needed them cut to about 5 to fit in my little Honda and David, the customer service guy working out in the yard, was not only kind enough to do so within a 1/2, but even went through probably a dozen boards looking for the straightest ones. He was extremely professional and thoughtful (get that man a raise!). Im very impressed with this store, their products, and their staff. The wood didnt turn out to be 100% straight, but I wouldnt have such high expectations anyways. Ill be here frequently for all of my wood and landscaping needs. This place makes me look forward to all the work that needs done around the house.

I am very thankful that a friend suggested I check B&B Lumber for supplies. My first project was a cedar privacy fence. It cost about 25% less to buy everything at B&B over the big chain stores and the lumber quality was significantly better. They also had people on staff that helped me get everthing I needed for my fence project. I have since used them for multiple projects and always end up with higher quality products for less money than I would spend at other stores.

Great prices. They were much cheaper on oak trim than any other big box store and Star lumber. I will be going back for all my lumber needs.

Good store and friendly clerks

I have done business with B&B since Harold was in the office, Tom was behind the counter and they had 2 part-time high schoolers in the yard. Theyve been more than business acquaintances- theyve been friends! My boy worked in their yard for awhile and I know several names of their workers. I can truthfully say that theyve never done me anything but good. Their materials are top quality and theyve always been more than happy to help me.

They did cabinets and doors, etc in our new build. Less than 6 months later, we contacted them because were completing the basement finish ourselves and Mike went above and beyond in helping us figure out what materials (and the quantities) we needed. Doing this work ourselves is stressful but B&B helped take some of the stress out. I couldnt be more grateful to them. And their prices are excellent!!

The selection and pricing were great. However, our sales representative Justen provided horrible customer service.

TERRIBLE WINDOWS!!! We built a house two years ago and they gave us the best price on cabinets out of everyone in wichita. We also perchased almost all our building materials from them with good prices and quick delivery. My only complaint is the windows we purchased. We hired a professional installer and I dont think this is installer error. THEY ARE EXTREMELY DRAFTY!!! I have to put the shrink wrap type celefane sealing up the North windows every winter to keep the kids rooms worm! When I put the plastic up before I use the blow dryer it instantly blows in toward me! It is very frustrating in my new home after spending all that money!

I was driving north bound on Kansas Ave, when one of their pickup trucks (199 BXS) made a U turn at the light on Medical Center Drive in front of oncoming traffic. The vehicle then decided to try and make a lane change without using their turn signals nearly slamming into me, must not have been paying attention to their driving or other vehicles around them. I thought they were going to try and get on to HiWay 50, but instead the driver slams on his brakes and then speeds up again passing the light at 14th St. They then make another abrupt stop and turn into oncoming traffic (AGAIN) into Kwik Shop.Needless to say, there is no way that I will do business with a company that employees drivers that are wreckless in their driving and disregards the safety of other drivers.
