First off, they have great prices.My salesman John, was friendly & helpful, but not pushy.The store is well laid out so its easy to find what you are interested in.I was informed of the different options for payment or financing without being pushed in any direction. I found exactly what I was looking for and it was easy and quick to place the order. I will definitely go back for any other furniture needs.

My sales rep was awesome. They are however a little dysfunctional and need to learn how to communicate with each other a little better. I love my furniture. I did have to wait over 4 months for my love seat and chair. 6 to 8 months for the ottoman that still isnt here.

Waited 5 months for delivery and upon delivery there was a damaged piece. Was told it would be another 6 months to get the replacement. I understand delays during our current climate, but the deal breaker was the horrible customer service.

Salesperson greeted us on arrival. We asked to look and she cheerfully complied. Found a sofa we liked, she helped us while we were seated on our sectional of choice. Brought us fabric samples decided to purchase. We were previous customer of this store and of thisSalesperson. She let is remain seated. Went and did all of the paperwork, brought it back to us to sign, and the deal was done.

Our Salesman Rob was great. My wife and I were in and out of there several times on a Sunday sitting on everything we thought we might like. Then we left at 1730 hours (5:30 pm) without even talking about purchasing anything. On our way out we realized they closed at 1700 hours (5 pm). Rob was extremely polite and never even mentioned that they were closing (or had closed).Was very please he was working when we went back to make our purchase, a month later.

We had a great experience with the sales team and the knowledge they had about their products. However, we ordered a sectional in January. We were told 3 months which seemed to be what every company was telling us. We bought the sectional January 11th and it is now August 11th and still no sectional. In May we were told July. No idea what the new time-line is, but if I could take it back I would not have bought a couch knowing it would take this long. Im sure many companies are backed up, but the lack of communication about the status of our sectional that was paid for and ordered 8 months ago is frustrating.

Rob catered to my girlfriend and I’s budget extremely well and was able to extend the offer to us on a protection program and mattress protector to ensure we would continue to be happy with our purchase’s. We will definitely be back!

Recently I went shopping for a dining room table. I shopped Ashley Furniture first, then went next door to Slumberland Furniture. The parking lot was empty, so I wondered if they were still open. As I approached the front door, trash was scattered about, and there were 3 Wichita Eagle newspapers still in their yellow plastic wrappers lying about in random spots at the front sidewalk. There were pebbles, cigarette butts and debris everywhere. The front landscaping had tall weeds and unkept mulch. I honestly thought the store was permanently closed. I tried the door and it was unlocked. I’m sad to say that the inside store was messy, too; carpets were untidy and much of the furniture was disorganized. I walked through the store and was not welcomed or even spoken to.I’ve purchased furniture here in the past that I still have and love, but I walked right out of the store with no intention of returning. What’s happened to you, Slumberland? Yes, you have construction going on next door, but that unwelcoming trash, newspapers & weedy landscaping is not their doing. Get a broom, and hire a landscaper before every shopper sees what I saw.

Have a house full of Slumberland furniture. Love the quality. Also, if you go to the East Wichita location, ask for Chris. Hell take great care of you.

John knew exactly what was in stock and did not push the sale, choosing to establish a relationship first. He was easy to work with and very relaxed. He was clear about delivery terms, dates and process and offered to keep what was in stock until the rest of the shipment was ready to deliver.

We’ve visited Slumberland on multiple occasions over a period of 6 months and were finally ready to make a purchase last week, after waiting for our house to be built. Jenny, the saleswoman we worked with, was excellent. She gave us help when we needed it, but also gave us space to talk amongst ourselves, browse, and make a decision. We also were able to check our fabric samples to find the swatches that went best in our home. We enjoyed our shopping experience there, as other furniture locations tend to be pushy, more interested in making a quick sale than helping the customer find the best fit. Selection of nightstands was slim but found a great coffee table instead. Shipping speed is a bit slow but they offer a military discount. Better then the store next door as you are not hounded for a sale either. Doorstep delivery is a plus.

I went to Slumberland knowing exactly what i wanted. As soon as i walked in Blayse greeted me with kindness and lead me straight to the sofa i wanted so we could look at it together. The entire time i was there he was friendly and respectful to me, the other employees, and other customers in the store. He was even super helpful explaining the delivery details of my furniture and helped me decide which delivery option was best for me with no pressure or pushiness to get me to make a specific choice. I opted to pay the extra fee to have them deliver and set it up. This man definitely deserves a raise based on his excellent customer service! Slumberland and Blayse in particular can definitely expect my business in the future!
