Horrible customer service at the cash register. The cashier asked about my email to sign up for rewards. I gave it to her and because she cannot spell the word shears she got irritated after the third time and just said oh we wont worry about it. Like seriously. I thought that was a pretty basic word to spell. I even wrote it down for her and she still couldnt get it... my point is why ask me to sign up for something if youre not going to take the time and effort to properly put me in the system? then the chip reader for the credit card would not read. It came up w/ an error message. After trying to read the Chip And swiping my card I told her I would just pay in cash and she rolled her eyes, looked at me like I was stupid & mumbled something that I could not hear all the way.. I dont know if that cashier was having a bad day or what but she really just needed to go home or get another job.On a positive note: the lady is a cut my fabric for me was very nice & extremely helpful.I definitely will not revisit this location.

Fantastic selection of halloween and season fabrics, far better than a local quilt shop I went to. Seemed like almost everything was on sale from 30 to 60 percent, which was good because normal prices are on par with Hobby Lobby.

Tried to even exchange item for different color. Of course I forgot my receipt. They tried charging me $2.67 more for a even return as they called it that. I could understand if it was totally different item.

Ah, Joanns, my greatest ally. You always have the fabric Im looking for, the ribbon I need, the perfect embellishments. My sewing projects are made so much easier. Staff tends to have some pretty good advice, too.(And the other crafts, I guess.)

The store was neat and clean and they had a unique item that I was looking for. Not much wait at check out. I will return!

Well kept and lots of variety. They had a nice, crisp, freshly shorn smell of fabric and just a dash of Joann (who smells like cinnamon & spice oddly enuff). Gummi bears were an outrageous $2.99 per 6oz! Yikes, I can only imagine what the rest of the stores price hikes were. Try as I might I could not find 1 dude in the entire store, not even a gay one. All the women, including the staff were obese but all in all a great shopping experience.

I spent way too much money here....but they have great sales, discounts, and coupons with really good stuff. And the place isnt so big I get lost or takes forever to find what I want

I needed a new cutting mat, I called and they had 2. I asked that they hold 1 for me and I would be there shortly. They held it at the checkout counter so I could just step inside the door, pay for it and be on my way. I appreciate that kind of service.

We went in search of magnets and other craft items and we were not disappointed. We found several fun crafts for the entire family to enjoy. I even picked up a book on beginner drawing. This is more than just a fabric store.

I love Joanns! They have so many different fabrics its hard to choose just one.

Expensive!!!! They had a Halloween plastic skeleton 4ft for $100 when you can get a 7ft from Walmart for $79 there items were just to expensive.

Good selection. Got what I needed. Only one checker and lady ahead of me was trying to use coupons and being a nuisance. Someone else should have come to check me out. Not a major issue but was annoying.

With ALL the sales & door busters, its was fun and inspiring to be shopping there with my mom. We saw so many Christmas ideas, and the dollar mask special is amazing! They will make great stocking stuffers

Found fabric online that was supposedly in-store. After finally finding a staff member who was less than enthusiastic it still could not be found. Very unimpressed with the willingness to help or the cleanliness of the store.

I got some wonderful items there.

Got a beautiful shadow box from here at a fair price .. however it was hard to get help when I needed help which is why I post 3 stars

Took a little while to get some help but when we did she did a great job. Cricut stuff was on sell but didnt ring up that way so employee had to manually. T shirts were but 1 get 1 free but rang up but 2 get 2 free so got 10 shirts and list out on 2 free shirts rang up the wing price

Horrible experience picking up an online order. Manager was rude and suggested that I should always have it shipped to my home instead of the store. Will never shop there again.

This is a good store. But... The items I was looking for are expensive than Michaels and Hobby lobby.

Really enjoy the atmosphere and the employees are always welcoming and helpful but I wish there was more of a selection.

JOANN Fabrics is one of my go to spots when I wanna escape the chaos of life but still have free WIFI! Its pretty peaceful and quiet after 8pm with an abundant amount of parking selections. My own lil corner in the world where I can check emails and do surveys in blissful peace!To be fair I really DO go during business hours occasionally whenever Im having an itch to be crafty. Theyve had some great sales & doorbusters this year for the holiday season as well! Pretty fond of all that this place has to offer👌

Customer service at the fabric area was good but couldnt say the same for the register. Boulder flowers and the girl told me they didnt have bags for them and I asked if she was kidding and she said I can try to get it in the bags we got. Well if their large bags didnt work then what did she think would work? Ridiculously lazy at closing!

This Joanns is a bit unusual to travel to but it is clean and theyre doing their best with their covert prevention methods. The only thing I have against Joanns is that they are very mainstream in what they carry so its harder to find some of the more unknown craft materials such as macrame cord

I went for the doorbusters on yarn. Saved a lot. JoAnn treats teachers well! Staff is generally nice and helpful. Wish the Wichita locations had framing services and were bigger.

My niece wants me to make her a Chiefs blanket for Christmas. I have never done this before and the associate was so nice and patient with me walking me through the process. Super helpful!

This is a very well organized store, I was able to find everything I needed and the store associates were very friendly. My only complaint is that the store associates are not enforcing the mask policy. I saw several people walking around the store with no mask on which makes me very concerned.

Great variety of products for a wide range of potential projects. Reasonably priced while offering a great selection. I genuinely prefer to shop where I am not treated like a shoplifter or an inconvenience to the staff when interaction is necessary. Love the staff!

These are trying times. The location on W Kellogg has a new manager, Mike, and what a difficult time for him to start in a new store! I had a hard time picking up an order I placed and paid for online. Mike is a superhero! He delivered my merchandise and excellent customer service with it. I’m making cloth masks (84 and counting) and it’s good to know that they have all the supplies I need and a steady hand at the helm!

Generally great, but their DMC selection isnt as extensive as it could be.

Worst ever. I put an order in online for store pick up. It took them over a week to fill. Then they couldnt even find the order. They told me the order was ready so I sent my boyfriend to pick it up and he calls me they cant find the order again. When they finally found it. It didnt have all the items I ordered. Wow really I get you guys are busy but you need to get organized. There are plenty of people looking for jobs more some staff. I would have gotten my order faster just having it shipped to my house and less hassle to. I will never do store pick up again.

Great fabric selection, but pricey. I dont mind that when sewing particular type of items, but not for very basic, plan craft projects. Since Walmart is closing its fabric dept., our options are greatly reduced. Sad.

I have not been in Jo-Anns Fabrics in years and there was a specific yarn that I was looking for and could not find elsewhere so I decided to try there and I did find it

They dont carry Acetate. I was really disappointed.

Be careful with pick up orders. They will put your original charge through your checking account but if something is out of stock they send through the new charge instead of adjusting the original charge. So I have been waiting 6 days for the original charges to drop off cause I ordered on a Thursday night and then it hit the weekend and they dont include those days in the 72 hrs to drop off the original charges. So here I am 6 days later waiting for $191.63 to drop off my checking account. I live an hour away so I thought it would be a good idea to just do a pickup but I will probably not be doing that again. If I even shop at JoAnn fabrics again. They messed up and gave someone else one of my fabrics. The girl working the register even remembered the fabric that she gave to the other person. I didnt even leave the store with my order and the front lady insisted I had it even though she went through all the bags and couldnt find it but it showed picked up...yes because the other girl remembered giving it to someone else. She wouldnt even listen to the girl as she was trying to tell her that. The front lady just kept insisting I had it somewhere. I havent even left the register...where do you suppose I have it lady? It was a mess. Im not impressed with Joann fabrics in Wichita KS at all.

I love looking over the variety of yarn and fabrics. The sales associates are always willing to help find what I need.

Location is easy to access off of Dugan road. Great selection of Crafts and Fabrics. Always carries a great selection of Craft and Fabrics supplies. Great deals when you take advantage of their weekly ads and discounts. Holiday selection is a bit limited.

Love this place

I stopped in on a Friday during the COVID-19 pandemic. My bad experience came when three workers, including the manager did not know where to send me for the item I was looking for. One did not know what I was talking about, one sent me west and the manager sent me east. The manager was extremely stressed! She was at the cutting area when a pick-up came in over the phone. The volume of her voice was heard throughout the area! She is definitely not what people need at time like this! One person was cutting fabric while she was there. I am giving the review two stars because who I think the Administrator is was kind enough to apologize for my experience.I just made another visit on 9/27/20. I was on my phone with an emergency phone call. I asked where I item was located. I was rudely told to pull my mask up by the store manager. When I went to pay for my purchase the clerk was wearing a piece of fabric across her mouth (nose uncovered)!!! 🤔

Lots of things to do in this store. Tons of fabric. Nice clerks.
