Honestly, the only plus about Midas is that they are professional. They will look over minor issues and charge you for the most expensive ones possible so you always have to go back. I wouldnt recommend the Midas touch, either..they are pretty sloppy with their work and it isnt quality at all for the labor they charge. If you want your car to be running in perfect condition after dumping a bucket of money into parts and labor..do not go to any Midas in Wichita. Youll be better off with literally anyone else.

Adam, Rob, & JD were awesome in helping me. I had a terrible experience elsewhere, and my experience with them was a complete 180. I had taken my vehicle to a different store & they only provided half the service I requested. When I walked into the Rock Road location, I was immediately greeted and helped. They offered to do a diagnostic test, found what was wrong, AND fixed it! I’ve had my car for 10 years and it meant a lot for them to take the time to hear me out and fix the main issue my car had. They were extremely friendly, and very quick. I walked in there at about 1 p.m. and my vehicle was done at 4. I’m very very happy with Midas in Wichita on Rock Road, and I would recommend this Midas to anyone! Very happy customer here, will be back for sure. 👍🏽

I needed to replace both of my front tires but only had the ability to bring one in at a time so they fixed one, brought it to my house and allowed me to switch out the tires and they took the other one to the shop and fixed it for and I picked it up later. Great service!!!!!

Got my alternator replaced and a new wheel bearing. They were very patient in explaining the process and theres no issue with the car now. I showed them the coupon for $30 off services over $300. And when I asked if it got applied they mentioned the discount is applied the parts and labor so it doesnt show up in the invoice?When I got home and compared it to the estimate they gave me yesterday and all the #s are the same. I doubt any discount was applied.........

Camshaft and 2 lifters. Wasn’t expecting such a major repair on my 2017 Sierra. Manager Rob and Jeremy are top notch. You can trust your nice truck with them. Runs like new.

Don’t take your car into Midas if your check engine light turns on. They will run a diagnostic then fix your car without informing you and try to charge you a ridiculous amount for a simple repair.

I tried to have an alignment done here. Car was fine going in. Coming out the hood was smoking, and my front driver side tire literally flew off the car. Would I go back? Sure. If my friends and I ever had a competition seeing whose car was most messed up. I think these guys would give me an autowin.

They were supposed to do a tire rotation oil change but tires were not rotated and oil filter still leaked so it does not appear they did anything but charge me 200 bucks. Now Im out another oil change at a different repair shop.

Went for a wheel alignment and was informed that in order to get the wheel aligned ill have to get an inner tie rod and possibly another control arm replaced, was shortly after charged $46.44 after taxes for the information.Theres a courtesy visual inspection, however, theyll do a complete suspension inspection right after for $40. I assume all corporate mechanic shops are like that, however, something to note if in similar shoes.

My alignment was done rather quickly with how busy they were, but because of how busy they were they didnt explain the courtesy check list to me. They just gave us a piece of paper and said have a nice day. Turns out there were structural things wrong with me car, and me not knowing anything about cars, didnt know until it was too late. But the alignment was done quickly.

Took my truck for an oil change. Andy made me aware of other issues and provided a list for me. When I left my truck stalled on me and Andy was incredibly helpful and nice...he let me drive his car back to Midas. They are amazing!

Called twice and was told no charge just to diagnose the issues with the vehicle. Drop it off and go to pick it up and it’s 130 dollars just to look at it. Don’t say one thing and do another. First and last time there👌🏼

Received a quote of $990 to replace a muffler. They claimed the muffler itself cost $770 yet I went directly across the parking lot after and saw that I could get it for $200 from AutoZone. They also tried telling me that I need to spend nearly $500 to replace a right control bearing, and claimed that the marking on my tire was from the wear. I didnt say anything at the time, but that marking was from me driving down a dirt road the day before--it was dirt, not wear.When I took the car to South Seneca car Care, they confirmed that there was nothing to worry about for the bearing. I then went and got my muffler replaced for $135 with an off-brand at Bills American Muffler. I dont know why Midas tried to rip me off, but Im guessing its because thats what theyre trained to do. I would avoid going to them if I were you.

Im new to the state so I dont have a mechanic anymore. Im SO happy I went here. I called and was able to be seen within 10-15 minutes of hanging up. My car was pulled in to the bay no more than 5 minutes after arriving! The manager was very helpful in giving recommendations without being pushy and the lady at the counter was courteous and efficient. I will be most definitely be back to get the rest of my auto services done here. 5/5 would recommend to anyone looking for an auto shop!

I have been using Midas for 8-10 years now for oil changes, tires, tire rotations. Tom has always been great to work with and fair to deal with. I bought my last set of truck tires from him. They were slightly higher than the same tire at another store, but the lifetime, free rotation brought the price to essentially equal. Service is always timely and if there is a problem they will fix it.

Great experience with Jordan, the manager, who helped me price out future repairs I may need, and who helped me out with my coupon. Austin did the repair work on my vehicle and did fantastic!

I felt overwhelmed. The managers Adam and Jordan were too aggressive and seemed more concerned with the sale than in their helping me get my vehicle fixed.

Awesome customer service. Called ahead about a hard to find tire size and was in there 10 minutes later. The manager, Tom kazyak was understanding of my situation (in a hurry to get out of town, just got off a 16 hour shift) and got me in and out fully serviced in under 45 minutes. He came out and even saw me sleeping in a chair and offered to buy me a few sodas for the road. I will definitely return.

Oscar was the reason i used this location religiously. He always made sure i paid what i should, not marked up. He offered me the oil change coupons before i even pulled out my phone. But ever since he’s left, ive continuously been overcharged. Scammed into getting things done that weren’t needed. ( just one example of many includes they convinced me my back wiper blade costs $40 just for the part plus extra for labor. I could list several more.) And last time I went in march of this year 2020 for a simple maintenance/inspection before a 6 hour trip I was pressured into thinking my struts and other things were dangerous and needed $600-$800 worth of repairs. Plus they’re usually sloppy when changing oil and don’t clean out the catch underneath so my driveway gets stained from the residual oil leaking out. When I declined the struts repair, etc. in march and came back again yesterday for another oil change, they didn’t even mention the things they had previously. In fact I was told “ your car is in such great condition” for its mileage. But of course they still tried to scam me into another service they claimed would be necessary but was not. I specifically remember my last service papers showing struts and a few other items in red or yellow but magically its green this time? I wish I could find them to prove.. im sure the shop has record.I have not felt comfortable going in as a woman by myself the past 3 visits especially, as I feel like prey to drain an easy buck. Im forced to have my spouse attend these visits to ensure im not swindled. I used to go in for maintenance and oil change every 3-4 months, now I wait and go by my cars reading and owners manual recommendations. I kept going back hoping oscar might return, but I think ill go elsewhere from now on. Its just not worth the stress and worry.

They were super friendly and quick at getting my oil changed. They checked a lot on my car, making note of anything that needs serviced soon. They brought me in to look under my car to show me the things they found, which was super helpful and helped me believe what they found. They gave me quotes for everything they found, but didn’t pressure me into anything. They were knowledgeable about the different recommendations by the car companies based on different mile marks, like GM says to change sparkplugs at 100,000. This is a great service shop and I would recommend Midas anywhere.

My service here was beyond anything I expected. Many car repair shops catch a bad rap due to dishonest practices in the industry. But Midas handled me with the up most integrity.The mechanic:I came in with the intentions of fixing squeaky brakes however, unbeknownst to me my brakes weren’t the problem. It was a whole slew of other things! There shop foreman took me back to the garage to show me the necessary needed repairs and educated me on the what, the how and the why. Everything he recommended was in fact Needed! He didn’t upsale me or try to get me to repair anything that wasn’t a priority. Very honest and very transparent which I appreciated tremendously.The Service Desk:I can’t remember the lady’s name at the service desk however, she was extremely friendly. Constantly kept me updated on my vehicles progress and as went over my repair quotes I came to find out that I was ultimately short of the amount needed. She worked with me and made it happen, which is something she didn’t have to do at all. It broke me. But my vehicle is running like a champ! I won’t take my car’s anywhere else as long as that same crew is there.

This company ruined perfectly good condition car and caused my husband to loose his job and I am not able to get to my cancer treatments because of this company and now they are not wanting to make it right so far my car is ruined I now need a new motor after a simple clutch change turned into a new transmission new fly wheel and now a motor and now they are dropping the ball a law suit is coming

The guys here are amazing! I’ve taken my car in to have repairs done and I get it back to find things I hadn’t mentioned fixed. Example, my horn kept on going off and I couldn’t get it to stop. I took the fuse out and forgot about it. Later in traffic I smack my steering wheel because Wichita drivers don’t know how to drive and I hear it honk... Tom and Oscar are great guys who are very knowledgeable. They have done their best to keep my car from blowing up and I owe them for not having to buy a new car. I highly recommend the rock road location.

I went to Midas on Rock Rd in Wichita KS. They are Horrible! I was having problems with a neutral safety switch in my car and advised them of this. They first said no it was my key that was having problems however that was not the case. Then they said it was a transmission module. They said my car doesnt have a neutral safety switch, yet the dealership said my car does. And you can find videos online talking about that part. Oh, did I mention you can buy that switch at auto part stores? Oh and the best part is that My husband paid for a service that was worthless and probably made my car worse, when we went to pick up my car they were closed. When we pulled in my windows were left down Hey Midas nice way to secure a customers car glad nothing was stolen. What idiots. Never would recommend your company!!!

I hit part of a semi-tire on the highway and wanted to make sure my car was ok to drive back to Texas in. I had gone to three other automotive repair shops that day that turned me away. Midas got me right in And Jeremy was awesome!!! Told me exactly what I needed to get done on my car in the future. Checked over my car to make sure that I could make it back to Texas safely. Midas charged me nothing!!! Great service!!!

I can say this is one the of the worst workshops I been toThey could not do proper alligmemnt and on top of that they told me to come and pick up the car at 6 but I waited 40 min. In the end it was for nothingSo you pay a lot more than other shops but for very bad serviceThey gave me paper saying if Im not 100% satisfied but its for show cause I complied but nothing was done

Despite our tire have a leak and us telling them that it lost 15+ lbs of air over night refused th fix or sell us a replacement tire because they couldnt find the leak but where more than happy to perform the oil change we had also asked for and tell us other things they wanted us to have fixed or replaced on the vehicle and had us replace a battery that was cranking a little low so now we are having to drive on a leaky tire while saving up the money they charged us for a battery instead of the tire which was a more immidiate issue just because their machine found nothing wrong

These guys are awesome. Its so nice to have a shop where you can trust them to find out what is really going on with your vehicle and find the most efficient way to get you up and running. I have a 18 year old vehicle and they are solely responsible for keeping it on the road. I highly recommend bringing your car here.

Midas offered a discount oil change coupon on their website. I took the coupon in which was $24.99 for a basic oil change. The gentleman at the counter explained that the coupon was actually for $5 off the basic oil change and that the price had gone up to $34.99 so the discounted price as actually $29.99, not $24.99. I read the coupon while I stood there and explained that their was no mention about $5 off but the employee talked over me and started to get argumentative. Needless to say this was not about the $5 but rather about the principal and s Miss store intends to treat customers, when by the way I was right and they were wrong. They certainly won the battle here as I paid the higher price, but I will not go back.

I was greeted when I arrived for my 1:00 appointment. The person at the desk told me that a worker had called in sick and it would be about a hour before they could get to my car. He also apologized for the inconvenience. I decided to wait but the wait was less than an hour. I was thanked for coming in and my business was appreciated.

The customer service here is top notch. This is my first experience at Midas and they are 1000x timer better than jiffy lube. Would recommend anyone looking for friendly customer since and had my oil changed in no more than 20 min! Tom the manager was amazing and made sure everything went smoothly!

5 stars isn’t enough for these guys. We drove in from 2 1/2 hours away to buy an RV. We wanted to get new tires for our Ram and decided on Midas. Tom and his crew are awesome. He knew what I was looking for and helped me decide on some new shoes for my truck. We went with a Cooper AT3 tire and I love them. Thank you Tom for going above and beyond. We will be driving 2 1/2 hours again, in the future, when we need tires. Service like this is hard to find nowadays. Again, a huge thank you from the Shelton family!

If you are looking for alignment ..DO NOT go to midas..its terrible job...My camber was - -1.52 almost pass to -1.75 which is not good..i brought my car to there shop to do the alignment but they didnt adjust my camber to close to 0. Its still -1.52...i asked them about that and then they said it is not pass -1.75 i requested them to fix that but they denied to fix that.. You know why? First: they lazy second ; they did like that and then you can bring your car back early to do the alignment again ..that mean they get more moneyIf I agree -1.52 still good..that mean I am stupid give them $100 for nothing .😡

Took my mini van in for a noise i was hearing. I’ve always trusted Midas and have never been led astray! They found the issue and fixed it. I never feel pressured and they always tell me what else is wrong and if i want to fix it great and if not no big deal. Love their honesty and professionalism! Tom and Oscar both did a great job! I went in for an oil change and was going to ask them to check my tire pressure light as well because it was on and my tires werent low. The oil change seems rather expensive but they do other checks as well, and even with me forgetting they adjusted the pressure of my tires and the light went off. I thought it was the sensor, but apparently my tires just needed a tweak and Midas fixed it on their own. They let you know if they see any other problems, so you get more than just an oil change. Im pleased.

The people there were very helpful when I was having a problem with my battery. Natalie especially was helpful in finding a way to get my tow bill taken care of by my insurance.They were fast and friendly and got me in and out in under one hour and without too much damage to my bank account. I would definitely recommend this shop.
