I recently had to get some small glass panels cut to replace the broken ones in my Fusion Powered Interdimensional Door Device (patent pending) that were unfortunately destroyed by a giant humanoid squirrel named Barry from an alternate dimension. Just a FYI: dont ever trust a smooth talking squirrel man who says hes just looking to buy some walnuts. After calling several different glass shops, I started seeing a trend as EVERY single one I called recommended Lewis Street Glass (no joke). I only called around because Lewis Street was farther from me than I really wanted to drive, but after so many good endorsements I decided to go anyway. Im glad I did. Lewis Street Glass were extremely accommodating. They were quick (cut my panels in 10 minutes), were inexpensive, did fantastic work, and had the best collection of People magazines I have EVER seen in a waiting room. Great business. Great customer service. No matter the size or scope of your glass needs, call them first. I guarantee you wont be disappointed. Also, if youre reading this, arm yourselves, and buy all the walnuts you can. The giant humanoid squirrel man invasion is upon us (thanks a lot, Barry).

I got a chip on my windshield Friday afternoon. I called to schedule an appointment and to my surprise they worked on Saturday until 1pm. I was able to schedule a Sat appt at 10. They fixed the chip and had me on my way in good time. The chip repair was very reasonably priced. Thank you Lewis Street Glass.

I cannot rate this place because of my experience with them was very positive and they let me drop the car off the night before and so we didnt have to get up in the morning. They were very friendly, smiling, professional and nice people. I dont know about the quality of work because I didnt pick the car up, Im. I just dropped it off but it looked like it was fine to me and the quality work the price was very low the office was clean. But I happen to do this on the full moon and something happened that may have had nothing to do with that place. So I cant say anything other than what I said. I dont know what happened I have no absolutely no idea what happened but it was on the full moon, I have no I have absolutely no idea what the issue was. But it didnt happen there and it happened elsewhere.

They did a great job installing the shower door. There was a delay with getting the door due to covid, but they kept me up to date from coming out to measure, to day of installation. 👍🏾

Recently had a piece of glass hand cut for a custom coffee table, two custom mirrors made, and purchased a set of sliding shower doors. Prices were good. Everything was done when they said it would be. And above all, the service I received from Janie was greatly appreciated!

The staff (Janie) treated me as if I was a very important account for their business, knowing that my purchase was going to be minimal. I could not ask for any better customer service. Very pleased with my experience.

This place is great. Am going to put some glass in 3 tabletops. They were able to put a hole in the mirror glass that I needed for a model I was building. Ended up winning the local model contest. Model bases count!

Pleasant experience. I phoned ahead and my questions were very answered very courteously. At the store, I waited what I thought was a very short time for the worker to cut my glass and he offered to carry it to my car for me. This place was top notch in my opinon.

Would not recommend. Unnecessarily walked throughout portions of the house they didn’t need to work in including the bathroom. Took forever to do the work. I’m sure the work is fine but I’d never want them in my house again.

Very helpful staff. I have had glass cut for photo frames I am making, and the staff have always been very quick and courteous.

I called to have a small 1/4 in mirror cut. They were busy and cant have it ready for a week. Thats fine ill expect a call on Wednesday next week. Thursday we called to check and see if they forgot to call.Oh, he has not cut that yet. Well get that cut today and call you when its done.No call on thursday or friday. When we called back friday its done but its to late for us to go pick it up. Why didnt you call to tell us it was ready we asked. Oh, we called but it was busy.We didnt get a call so obviously they called the wrong number. My wife went to pick it up Saturday morning and its ready.The work is good. But its not bagged or wrapped in paper or anything. I wont use these guys again.

Terrible customer service. I usually give people the benefit of the doubt and see things with a glass half full perspective. They were supposed to replace both sides of one of our windows in our home. Our neighbor was paying for one side and we were paying for the other. We scheduled the install date. They called and moved it up a few days which was not a problem. At this time they let us know that payment would be due at time of service and that our neighbor had already given them payment for their portion. The employee showed up with only enough glass to do 1 side of the window. We called their office and they did not apologize and were very curt, almost rude. They said that they had never ordered the other side and we would need to order it in to do it. Prior to calling it would not have been a big deal, but they did not take ownership of their error and even implied it was somehow our fault. Almost made me wish I was calling a foreign customer support line. At least they would apologize or make some effort to be courteous and responsive.

Locally owned glass company, in business for decades. They are not on Lewis Street anymore. Wide selection of glass and shower doors. A good choice for people who want to buy a product and install it themselves. Many glass shops insist on doing the installation and refuse to sell you a shower door. Very polite and helpful counter staff.

This place has the best price in town I could find for replacing my driver door window. Not only did they have it done quickly they also cleaned up the mess there was from all the broken glass. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Ive always liked shopping here for glass projects. Some people think they just do big glass projects, businesses and cars. But thats not true.They can be cheaper then big retail store on some glass. They also do custom glass.I would recommend this business for any size glass project

Had two glass windows installed at church. The work was good but coordinations were terrible. The person in charge of the project won’t return phone calls for days. Asked for a quote on another church job and was told rep will call to discuss price. That was March 2019. Guess I should move on?

They repaired a storm door window for me very reasonable pricing and very fast service.

Took my car there in Nov.2018 and had them put a new windshield in. The windshield developed a small chip in it that I didnt see. The chip spread and cracked the windshield. Took the car back to them to see if there was a flaw in the window that made it crack.They showed me the chip that made it crack and said they have no warranty on there windows . I get that!!!!!. But thought they would offer a discount on another windshield since I just got that one from them 4 months ago. But I guess not. I guess customer service on repeat customers is not important to them. Only dealt with them once but it wasnt the best experience. I needed a a replacement pyroceram glass for my woodstove door. This company was recommended to me by one of the local hearth businesses. I live 1.5hrs away and I fully expected they would need the door few days to fix which they did. I explained I lived out of town and would pick it up as soon as I can and that didnt seem to be a problem. When they called to tell me it was ready I told them it would be a few days before I could make it back to Wichita. When I picked up the door all looked fine until I got it outside and in the sunlight I could see large scuffs in the glass. I took it back inside and the nice lady behind the counter went and got someone from the shop who as soon as he saw it began blaming me for not coming as soon as it was ready and that they arent responsible for what happens in their shop to items left there. I explained to him I lived 1.5hrs away and I told them when I dropped it off it would be a few days before I could return and I wasnt informed of any policy regarding items not picked up the day they are done. He begrudgingly told me to leave it and they would replace it again. So I did but as I was getting into my car the nice lady from behind the counter came up to me and asked if Id consider a 10% discount instead. Pyroceram is not cheap. Around $150 a square foot and this door took 2 square ft. I really wanted it right but didnt want to mess with it again so I paid and took the door. Not fully happy because I have a large scuff thats visible when the fire is going (and reminds me every time I see it) but I didnt want to have to make another special trip and I knew I couldnt be there as soon as it was completed. The workmanship itself was good just customer service on an unfortunate circumstance could have been handled better. Especially not blaming the customer for actions that happened in their shop.

My car was unfortunately broken unto downtown on Washington and Douglas (near Luckys). I called Lewis Street Glass and asked about their rates Monday morning. Their rates worked well with me and my car was fixed before the end of the business day!! Very efficient, quality work. I will definitely go through them again.

I didnt use them. Told me a week to get out for an estimate at least and a month before they could fix my window. Not feasible to wait that long

In this Kansas heat during summer, its not uncommon for your rearview mirror to fall off in your car. Mine fell off, I stopped by and was helped right away. No charge. Fast and friendly. Weve also bought window glass before to replace some at the house, and they are always fast, accurate, and friendly.

Ive used Lewis Street Glass for a variety of projects on several homes that I have owned over the years(shower doors, mirrors, etc.). They have even fixed a few windows that Ive broken while golfing. Lewis Street provided the glass for the buildout of our new office location. We had to delay our schedule as we waited on them to enclose the building so we could heat it. Way late. Wouldnt return calls. Very unprofessional. When they did finish the job, their work was visibly shoddy, such as marring on the aluminum window frames. Just horrid. To this day we regret using them. In Phase 2 of our expansion, we used Hoppers Glass. They knocked it out of the park.

Super unhappy with the quality that was done for my car. A couple years ago, my 2001 vw was broken into and I needed to replace the passenger window. When I recieved my car back, the button on the door was dangling out. I asked why they would give my car back this way and asked if they could fix it. They screwed the bottom into the door and claimed this was the only option and not their fault that it broke. The reason why Im making this review a couple years later, is because now my window cant roll down because of the extra broken pieces they didnt remove. The new window is being scratched and now wont even move. So thanks Lewis Glass for making this a nightmare when it was to begin with. Do not go here unless you want affordable but not quality at all.

We got 2 different quotes from some dumb girl over the phone about our sliding door glass being repaired also was told that it had to be ordered and that will take up to a week. Not only that i had to SPELL OUT my last twice to her! Then two times for my cellphone number. I get there and she ask me AGAIN for My cellphone number! This time the price when up on the glass. And it still had to be ordered. So i went home to tape up the frame door to keep the weather out all week. 10 hours later i get a. Call that the glass is done!and it is way cheaper... What??? You told me a week yet no one called to tell me it could be done today! Its cheap cus its a temp glass window. Arent all sliding glass doors thats way now that its 2017!! Im done with this place they have stupid girls answering the phones yet know nothing about their work place. If you do use them make sure you know your wait so your not taping off a door frame thinking it wont be done for awhile.

RUDE RUDE RUDE. We asked for a clarification on a blank invoice we received and Sharon Crager threaten to sue us. Very unprofessional and uncalled for when dealing with professional services. Her message was littered with typos and misspellings so not to sure they understand the term professional.Would stay away and not recommend them

They completed the RV window glass replacement in less than half the time quoted.

I called to get an estimate for a window repair, the lady said it would be 5-7 before we could get someone out. 8th day I call and she said someone would be out today, was rude. I asked for someone to call me, afternoon rolls around and I get a call which I missed, tried to call back nothing and never tried calling me back after I tried calling twice. Terrible service!
