Our experience with Colorado Door Connection was a pleasant one. I drove into their office to choose the doors, and Alex was very kind and helpful. They respond quickly to email. I love the fact that they are a family owned business and that we are supporting a local company. They were able to get our products to us in a timely manner. Morgan was very helpful in answering all of our questions, and was a delight to talk to. I would recommend this company for anyone who wants to support a local company and wants personalized attention.

I had a terrible experience with Colorado Door Connection. If there was a zero rating I would give it to this company. I signed a contract for new doors and casing February 2020 and then ordered oak baseboards in April 2020. After 14 months they have not completed the door casing and the baseboards have not been started. Alex and his wife, the new owners, will not returned phone calls or emails. Over the past year I have made dozens of phone calls to find out what is going on, and never got a requested returned phone call. The previous owner, Mike Price, treated me with respect and always gave good customer service on several previous jobs over many years. The same cannot be said about the new owners. Be cautious before doing any business with Colorado DoorConnections. It is September 2021 and finally I got a response after posting this bad review. Order initially started Feb. 2020 and it has taken over 1 1/2 years to get any kind of communication. They say I added to the order, that is correct. Alex never gave me an invoice for the additional work even though I requested one many times. When I called and emailed time after time they never responded. How am I suppose to pay when I have no invoice? Very unprofessional company with little business sense.

I dont know what this guy does for a living but it isnt selling doors or running a business. I went to the shop and was told the boss had gone to the bank and would be back in 45 minutes. The employee gave no other help or information. I called an hour later and got an answering machine. I left my name and number, no call back. Went to their email left info about the doors I needed and contact info. No return email or call back. This company has no clue.

It took months for them to schedule my job, which was just replacing a piece of trim over the door. They required me to pay for half up front, but billed me for the total job. It was eventually refunded before they arrived. Once installed, the trim was too long compared to what was there. They sent out a “handyman” to fix it, and the man refused the job, calling me silly to want it corrected. I let the owners know, and they will not reply to my calls or emails. The job is incomplete, but thank goodness I haven’t haven’t paid them yet. WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!

I walked into the store with my family and it smelled like cigarette smoke inside and there was nobody out front to talk to. I peeked around the corner into the shop and there was a guy talking on his cellphone smoking a cigarette. He looked at me, put head head down and continued to smoke and talk on his phone. I was so disgusted by the smell and the fact that he would smoke inside the store that we turned right around and walked out. I would never buy from them.

Best door store in town! Alex was extremely kind and helpful with replicating some custom doors. We were initially told it could take a week or so and he wrapped up the project within a day or two, saving us time, effort and money. The doors fit perfect too! These folks offer quick and quality work with very fair pricing and well definitely be coming back in the future.

We went to the office, spoke with Mike (owner) and got a good price. He said a contractor of his (Jason) would call to schedule measurement. I called over a dozen times and Jason called once, when I told him repeatedly Id be out of town. He never called again. When I spoke with Mike, he said I should wait for Jason, and that there was nothing he could/would do. Mike then stopped taking my calls. I would never deal with this company again. Perhaps they have so much business they dont want more.

Beautiful door but customer service is poor. Problems with the paint bubbling and peeling at the base. It took 3 emails to get someone to come out and fix problems with screws backing out. So far 3 emails on the paint and the person who is supposed to contact me - 7 weeks and waiting - never has. This was an expensive door. Mike says he is busy but he needs to take care of existing customers to stay in business. Im not sure if he cares.

Was referred to Mike and Colorado Door Connection by a window company. Called him twice and left two voicemails and never even got the courtesy of a response. Terrible service and communication.

If you need a custom door, framing work, or glass/grid repair to a french door, CO Door Connections does an efficient and quality job! Using a large chain can result in a wait of 6-8 weeks, but their local service and personable, professional demeanor was a relief when we needed expedited repairs.

Google maps doesnt display the location correctly. Its actually a little bit further on the corner of Iris. Unfortunately the closing time posted is wrong as well. It closes one hour earlier at 3.30pm. Since we could not find the place, we called and the owner was so nice to stay open longer for us. He is very friendly and helpful.

If i could give a ZERO I would. Awful experience.FIRST... when I called to see if they could indeed repair my door, the owner was a complete dick. He acted totally put out to have to talk to me and answer any questions. He quoted me $139.00 to replace my door and match the old door. In the end, despite the Owner, the price was fair so I decided to give them the business. When I dropped the door off with Alex (the only other person who works there AND the person the owner kept telling me to talk with) I told him that I did not own a truck and asked if they offered delivery for a fee. Alex was pleasant and told me that they would indeed deliver the door to me for a charge. GREAT! He said they would call me when the door was ready.SECOND... nobody called me. a week went by and no word. So... i called. Lucky me, I got the personable owner again. He was again completely put out to have to answer my question as to when my door would be ready. Originally told a couple of days. Called after a week. Wonderfully pleasant owner told me it would be ready in a couple of days. Ugh...THIRD... called a couple of days later (because AGAIN nobody had called me) and asked if my door was ready. Lucky me AGAIN, i got the owner. I asked to speak with Alex, the owner wouldnt transfer me. I told him that Alex had told me they would deliver my door for a fee. The owner huffed and said no. I will not waste my time delivering 1 door. I said, why would Alex say you will - AGAIN... FOR A FEE. Just tell me how much...??? The owner then said, Well, Alex doesnt run this business, I do. WOW.So, had to hire someone off Craigslist to go pick my door up and deliver it.FOURTH ISSUE.... and this might just be the best part. When i dropped my door off, it was so they could match the new door completely. hardware locations, etc... thus ensuring the door would line up perfectly. Important because its one half of a French Door. So, after a 1.5 weeks and the worst service I possibly EVER had. My door was delivered. This wonderful man charged me for a new door... but what i got, was my old door with a piece of trim glued to it. I paid $139 for a piece of trim.Maybe this guy is great when dealing with large orders or building contractors. Maybe he feels this kind of tiny work is beneath him and his shop. All I can say is business must be good if he treats people like this. Clearly does not care about reviews or repeat business. In the end, I would have rather paid $1800 for a new set of doors from Home Depot.
