Called because I still had a processing card (no expiration date BTW) from 2011 and wanted to know if they would still honor it. A person by the name of Benjamin was pretty rude right off the bat and told me I needed to take a picture of it and text him, and then we would talk. Did exactly as he asked and no reply, couple weeks went by and texted again, no reply. Not cool.
I have been a Colorado Outfitter for 15 years now, We have shot over 300 animals and have been around the block as far as processors go. I usually get an animal myself each year when I am able to hunt for myself, last year I popped a late cow, and brought it to these guys, everything they told me I was going to get, and when I was to get it, was right on. The meats were wonderfully cut, and the products like the sausage links sticks, and logs were awesome. Thank you guys, you made my covid-19 experience allot better having all this good stuff in the fridge, keep up the good work. Regards, Glenn
Drop off was so easy! They got me in and out but I didn’t feel rushed. They explained all the different cuts of meat, what cuts would be best for what. They were very knowledgeable and helpful. The price was very reasonable! (And I got a whole package of “samples”!)
Have brought meat here the last 3 years. Quick service, super helpful folks helping with the options, and the flavors of sausage we have tried we have really enjoyed.
The staff was exceptional today at drop off and assisting my son and I with his first deer to be processed. We had first gone to a place down the road and they wouldn’t take our deer because it wasn’t skinned. Went to 5280 and they were Excellent. Customer service was top notch.
Good honest folks, polite and pleasant! Delicious product.
Just poor communication and customer service. Have fun trying to call to get any help as well.
Took my very first deer here as I did not want to mess it up trying to skin and process myself. The staff was so friendly and they explained everything to me since I was a first timer. I did feel that the price was a tad high but most of that was due to the skinning fee and the hide contributing to the hanging weight. Next time I will do the skinning myself. The only thing I did not like was that the vacuum seal was pretty weak on some of my meats. My tenderloins werent sealed at all and it was almost like the bag was sealed but none of the air was removed. I am glad I cooked them right away and did not freeze them because they would have been ruined with freezer burn.
This is the place to process your game. They were very professional and did a great job. Took an antelope and deer this year.
Wow what a change from the other location look great and Jess is wonderful to deal with great knowledge and excellent product
These guys are SUPER expensive. For just for quarters of an antelope ground into burger they wanted $85.F Thats after I skinned and cleaned it. the price theyre charging I went and bought a grinder.
Excellent service for my first time taking a kill to them. Highly recommend especially first time hunters.
Meat was supposed to be done 5 weeks ago .. dropped it off if November ...come middle of March cant get ahold of them and they will not call you back ...worst Processing place I have ever dealt with !
5280 is awesome. They fill up quick but can get meat out fast and accurate. My third year going here.
