No one likes having to have their vehicle serviced, but its made a bit easier when you can count on honesty from the provider. We knew wed found that with Caney, in our very first experience! We had gone in for a front end alignment. The owner took our vehicle for a short test drive and came back in to tell us, that if we really wanted them to do it, they would, BUT IT WOULDNT fix the problem! (We had busted belts in a front tire.) Not many places these days place integrity over the almighty dollar! You get that, at Caneys!! Weve been back to them with another issue, and will continue to use their services in the future!!

This place is SORRY! I do NOT believe the positive reviews. I brought my truck to this place 3 times for a simple check engine light and it STILL isn’t fixed! They hardly bother with keeping you in the loop with anything, you can “schedule” for a drop off and they’ll completely forget about it. I understand most mechanics take awhile when they’re busy but this place just completely forgets to look at your vehicle or even let you know when it’s complete. I gave them plenty of patience despite being frustrated because I work with annoying customers too. I spent over $500 to fix a simple issue and it STILL isn’t fixed! They are glorified parts changers who have horrible communication with their customers.

I went in to have them repair messed up steering coupler, these guys are absolutely amazing. Would 100% go there again if I need to, and would definitely recommend to anyone. They are extremely backed up due to several of the other local shops having closed, but everyone is absolutely attentive to everyone that comes through the doors.

I must say The staff was really friendly and so nice!! I was in a rush to Houston and unfortunately my engine splash shield slipped off and cause a ugly rattling noise. I was so scared and nervous driving with it just hanging off. I called Caney auto service and they took me in right away!!!The staff were so friendly and understanding about the situation. I am so happy with this company. I made a huge mistake at Bucees in Wharton and put a few gallons of gas in a diesel truck. I got on google and Caney Auto Service popped up. I called and they sent the local wrecker and then Caney came and picked us up. I was in a major bind and had to be in Victoria in a 1 1/2 and the owner Trey told me to take his car. Nicest thing in a long time. Was back at their shop in 3 hours and my truck was ready. He told me no charge on the car I borrowed. Price for all work was definitely under current cost in Houston.Excellent company and excellent customer service.

My pickup truck was over heating, I pulled off of Hwy 59 in Wharton and came across Candy Auto. Thank goodness as my water pump was leaking. This was 4:00 PM, by the time engine cooled down it was getting close to closing time. I was 82 miles from home, they had a mechanic that was willing to work late, they got the parts made the repairs and I was back on the road at 6:45 PM. Thank you Caney Auto Service for the quick and excellent service. We were heading to Brownsville, Texas and heard lots of noise and banging underneath our vehicle. Im a pilot car and was with a load when I had an axle seal go out. I had to put a fire out when I got stopped...It was bad. After I called around, one place I contacted recommended Caney. Our car stalled at Buckies in Wharton Texas. A total stranger, (Owner of Caney Auto service) offered to help. We towed the car to his shop which was just a short distance away. He checked out the car while the grandchildren played with the friendliest puppy ever in the office. The gentleman was thorough and honest. Did a temporary fix for us and refused payment. If we lived within 50 miles of Wharton Texas this would be our Familys Mechanic. Honesty, integrity and excellent service.

They were very friendly and came out to meet me at a gas station right away. I was stuck traveling to TN when my truck started making this awful noise. Trey met me within 5 minutes of my call, fixed my car, and sent me on my way in a short amount of time. The cost was VERY reasonable, as well. I was towing a camper and he unhooked it for me and hooked it back up for me. His staff even entertained my dogs while we waited!

I brought my Tundra pickup in this morning with an engine misfiring on one cylinder and a code indicating a faulty oxygen sensor. Victoria proposed a common-sense strategy for troubleshooting and fixing the issues that got the job done without wasting time or money. The job was done professionally, and I had my truck back by early afternoon. Excellent service!

We got in an accident in Wharton while on a roadtrip, and Trey was the best reviewed mechanic close by. Now we know why! I pulled off the freeway to gas up when I heard a thump - thump coming from under the truck. The drive shaft was falling apart. I asked a guy at the gas pump and he directed me to Caney Auto Repair. They were GREAT! All it took was a couple of hours and I was back on the road. I didnt notice any extra charges for the emergency work either.
