Disclaimer - I am not trying to drag this shop through the mud, only provide an honest account of my experience using this shop to get some repairs done. If the following review and photos make it seem like I had a satisfactory time working with them, please disregard and take your car there.I did some damage to my vehicle while off-roading and needed an exhaust shop to repair it. I wanted it done correctly and as factory as possible. After reading their reviews and surfing their website, I came to the conclusion that Mighty Muffler would work for me. “Custom Bent Performance Exhaust. Roaring Since 76!” their website states. One of their Services pages reads “Are you having a hard time finding OEM parts because your vehicle is too new or too old? Come see us. We may be able to fabricate a suitable replacement.” This put me under the impression that they’d get the job done right. My particular rig is aging and parts are starting to become scarce.I called and confirmed that I could provide my own parts. I brought them a used OEM muffler and tailpipe assembly with the correct hangars already welded on, as they came from the factory. When I dropped my truck off they put it up on the lift and I stood under it with them and pointed out everything that I wanted done. I specifically asked that they keep it as original as possible. I sat in the waiting room for an hour and fifteen minutes, which I found to be acceptable. I thought that this job would have taken longer. But after getting the rig back, it became apparent that this was not the quality work shown on their website, but a rushed out hack job.I sent the owner an email and expressed that I wasn’t happy with the work and provided photos of what was wrong. They did not use the OEM hangars but instead fabricated their own, I am concerned about this as they certainly aren’t as beefy as the originals. In this email I offered to provide the correct parts. I received a quick response - which overall was positive. The key phrase in the reply was “if you want to get some factory hangers from some place Ill be more than happy to install them”. I ordered them from the Toyota dealer and picked them up the next day and scheduled an appointment to bring the truck back.On the second trip, we once again got under the truck and I showed them how I wanted it done, parts in hand. This resulted in what felt like a heated discussion about why they had cut off one of the brackets on the pipes I provided and why they couldn’t use the parts I brought because the pipes were “bent”. In their eyes I did not bring them the right stuff, and there was nothing they could do about it. Well great, at this point I don’t want them working on my stuff anymore. I did not ask for a refund, nor do I expect one. Technically, they did fix it. My vehicle is safe to drive again.I feel that the work that Mighty Muffler did has devalued my truck, and I will eventually have to take it somewhere else to get it fixed correctly. Take a look at the attached photos and see the quality of their work for yourself. If this looks like it is acceptable exhaust work to you, then please disregard this review and take your car there.Overall I am very disappointed and cannot recommend this shop to anyone who is picky about how work gets done on their cars.

If I could give zero Stars I would, I was charged $520 for them to fix three welds and to completely ignore several other problems that I had to get fixed at another shop. $520 for a $34 part and less than an hour of work.

What great experience!! Easy to make an appointment, got me in right on to look at my muffler, which was rattling and had moved out of place and was burning my bumper and he simply moved it back into place and sent me on my way! So friendly and professional. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I had a Flux pipe replaced on my Toyota solara for a very reasonable price. They completed the work in about 30 minutes and were very informational. The fix worked great for about 3 days and then I noticed another small exhaust leak. I set up another appointment to have them look at it and they were able to identify and fix it for me nice and easy. Definently reccomend everybody go support this small buisness. Whether it is for high end quality custom exhaust work or simple muffler repairs Mighty Muffler is the shop for you!

Took my truck in for a exhaust leak. They welded the pipe together and did a good job. The only thing was the flange was still loose and I lost a exhaust gasket. I called to get that taken care of. Problem was the owner kept saying if it wasn’t us that did it then I’d have to pay. Well no one else has worked on the truck and I know for a fact it was them because they need to drop that area of the exhaust to weld it. Owner was very rude and and made it clear I had to book another day to get it looked at even though the job was not done correctly the first time. A job that would take less than ten minutes to do. Bad customer service and from the beginning the owner of this establishment demeanor was not great.

I love working with people who know what theyre doing.I needed rusted section of pipe replaced on my daughters 97 Rav4 and they handled it quickly. It looks great, sounds better and didnt cost me a crazy amount of money or time.Ill be back with my next exhaust issue if I ever have one.

Went in with my own muffler asking to have two bolts removed and new muffler placed on. Was instead told it would cost me 160 to cut both my new muffler and exhaust and weld together. This I know for a fact was a two bolt job. I got taken for a ride maybe its cause Im a women... Thanks old timers. Job took 10min.

The guys here were fast, friendly, fairly priced, and on point with their communication. They fixed my car quicker than my rental agency could get me a loaner. Highly recommend them! They showed me the work they did and walked me through the process, all while keeping in line with masks and distancing. I cannot thank them enough. Life savers!

Guys did great work. Had me in and out in LESS than an hour! Was cool with me using my own exhaust system that I really wanted for my car. Had enough time to chat but still get the work done. Also, laid back guys who support the troops which is always a plus in my book. Will come back for further needs.

Not even worth 1 star, the guy quotes me 140 then charges me 280 claiming he said “per side”. there’s no way I would have paid 280 to cut 2 mufflers off, which took them 20 min and 4 welds. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else

I think my muffler fluid was low so I cut them off. Stopped in and 1 hour later pipes out the back, straight,square to bumper and supported the right way.Its lovely finding a professional who is efficient enough to still provide a low price.

They walked me through options of parts without being pushy. I ended up having a new exhaust pipe, muffler, and tail pipe installed for a great price. Took them 10 min and I was back on the road.

From the second I walked into the door I got nothing but attitude. Im not sure this is the time for small business to be turning away paying customers. Ive been looking for a good exhaust shop to work on my 5 vehicles, I did not find it here.

My husband took his truck in for brakes, he got right in, had it back in 3 hrs and very reasonable in price. Not only good and close to home but very friendly, well go back.

I went to 3 different shops for an exhaust system repair, and they wanted almost twice as much as Mighty Muffler did. They do great work, and are really nice people.

Cheap weld hack, my exhaust fell off. And owner is extremely rude. Ruined $800 exhaust HKS. Please check thier work before you leave look under and double check thier cheap work. I paid $110 for this

My muffler was not sitting correctly, knocking against the frame of my vehicle. I stopped by and they had a cancelled appointment so they got me right in, which Im so very grateful for! Up on the lift, check for any damage or holes, aligned it and was done. In and out in 15 minutes. Theyve done work for me before and their friendliness, fair, polite and professional manner has always been consistent. I highly recommend them. 😊

A fantastic job on a complete custom exhaust system from the headers back on my Jeep CJ-7 with an LS swap. Great price, very friendly. I live on the opposite side of town and it was well worth the trip!

I like this place. A couple old guys who are short on words, but have been doing it for a long time and they get the job done quickly! I needed a new tailpipe section and was out of there in 30 minutes, where everyone else I called wanted me to leave my vehicle for the day. Keep it up guys!

Wow! After failing the emissions test twice, my regular mechanic recommended that Jim at Mighty Muffler replace the catalytic converter because it would be too expensive for the regular mechanic to do. Jim got our Tahoe in right away, replaced the catalytic converter QUICKLY and sent us on our way to the emissions station where the Tahoe passed with flying colors. Thank you for being fair, honest and inexpensive!

I called and spoke to Jim yesterday, and its so nice to explain whats wrong with your car without being interrupted or talked over. I brought my car in this morning and Jim and Gus were both very friendly and welcoming. They immediately took my car back and looked at it even though I didnt have an appointment and fixed it for a very reasonable price. As a girl who is not smart about cars, taking mine to a mechanic is usually stressful and frustrating, so Im very happy to find somewhere where I know I wont be talked down to or overcharged! :-) :-)

Went in here for a rattle on my daughters vehicle. Was assuming it was the catalytic converter and that I would be spending a pretty penny to fix it. Went here and was quickly and properly diagnosed as loose heat shielding.. In an out and saved a bundle! Highly recommended this shop!

Fantastic shop. No nonsense, quick and easy with reasonable prices and great turn around times.Needed a new flange welded onto a mid-pipe and they bolted up and hung up the rest of my exhaust system for me as well in an hour.

I never write reviews..but if I could give this place a 0, I would. I got WAY overcharged for a few ft of pipe and an exhaust tip and some brackets. Not impressed. And do NOT recomend. Save your money.

I did some shopping around and found them to be the best priced in the area. They welded the exhaust system instead of clamping it. They are fast. I was in and out in under 45min. They have a great staff and very professional. I will be going back to them for all my exhaust and vehicle maintenance needs. I highly recommend this shop.

They couldve easily sold me a muffler, but instead found the real cause of the problem n fixed it under 30 minutes, still kept my muffler as they found nothing wrong. Very nice & chilled people, very honest and very reasonable prices. I will recommend them to all my friends.

Recently had a performance exhaust system installed on our 08 Ram pickup (hemi). I have known Jim and the guys at Mighty Muffler since 1984.In those years they have installed exhaust systems on literally dozens of my new (used) car purchases. Being a car enthusiast and life long mechanic, I am very particular about who touches and what gets installed on my vehicles. I have always valued Jims advice for the best sounding and performing exhaust. Their workmanship is always top notch and their prices are the best! These guys are quick and professional. I went in because my car was making some noise after I hit a puddle and I thought the worst. They didnt try to sell me anything, just welded my pipe that had detached at a weak joint back together in a matter of fifteen minutes. Highly recommend these fellas!

Plenty of other shops in very close radius that will provide better service at a better price and won’t lie to you over the phone and then try price gouging you and up selling. 5 vehicles done here in the last 7 years. Most recently a 2016 F150 3.5L ecoboost resonator & muffler delete which has helped raise the trucks fuel economy by 3mpg. Second was my brand new 16 mustang GT with a muffler delete and custom stainless 4 inch tips. The sound was perfect and Im glad the owner talked me out of the resonator delete. All I can say is the owner/manager is a blue oval ford guy, does quality work for a fair price, and turnaround times and price quotes are spot on as promised. I highly recommend this shop.

Honest, quick, and awesome customer service! A dealership informed me that during their inspection they had found an exhaust leak and would have to replace my exhaust system to the tune of $850.00 ! I declined and took the car to Mighty Muffler on 80th and Sheridan... they took a look at it on a Friday at 4 pm and in less than 15 minutes let me know they had found a small break in a weld and had fixed it free of charge!!! As a female customer I cant tell you how much I value honesty and integrity and yes, even kindness, from a business. This Mighty Muffler has earned a customer for life!

This was as good of a mechanic experience as it gets. In a time crunch they got my vehicle right in and the price was right. I literally couldn’t have found a better place. No appointment. I was in/out in under an hour. They gave me different exhaust piping options and pricing which I like. Their pricing seems fair. I was given their recommendation from my regular auto repair shop that does not do exhaust system work.

The owner / manager is a great guy. He actually listened to me as to what my problem was and what Id like to do. He offered many reasonable options and I never felt like I was being up-sold.

Mighty Muffler has done several exhaust jobs for our family and has always done a spectacular job!They do quick, high quality work and a fair price.The real test of a business is how they handle things when something goes wrong, though. My truck got rear ended and I finally took it in to make my dual exhaust symmetrical again earlier this year. As far as I could tell, they did a killer job. Bent some new pipe where it was needed, re-welded, and all for a totally reasonable price. Well 6 months later, I noticed one of my pipes dangling again. Im not even sure it was Mighty Mufflers fault (someone may have backed into my pipe or something), but they stood by their work and fixed it in 5 minutes flat for me! No charge.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Jim was easy to work with and has very honest prices. They are old school mechanics who treat customers right. Its hard to find guys as trustworthy and skilled as Mighty Muffler anymore.

On google it says they’re open on weekends but they are not.

Dont let them do your brakes, mufflers only. They turned my rotors and replaced the front brake pads. The brakes were worse than before. After repeated returns over the course of 2 weeks to give them a chance to fix the issue (ABS would not engage, stopping distance about doubled), they couldnt figure it out and sent me on my way. I went to Brakes Plus, who promptly showed me (within 5 minutes) that Mighty Muffler had not turned the rotors correctly, and the result was a very bumpy surface that the pads couldnt get enough grip on to activate the ABS system. Mighty Muffler had trashed the rotors. I had Brakes Plus replace the rotors and returned to Mighty Muffler to show/give them the old rotors (they should hang one over their lathe) and explain what Brakes Plus had shown me. They agreed that they had caused the problem, but then paid me less than half of the cost to correct their mistake, nothing for what I had initially paid for them to mess up in the first place (turning rotors) and show them what not to do. Again, they made me pay for their mistake, their education and to repair their mistake. I highly recommend you dont do your brakes there.

Reasonable price and immediate service on a muffler replacement. No BS, and no hard up-selling. I would do business with them again.

They offered both the cheap fix, and the all-new parts, more expensive, fix. Cheap fix worked perfectly as my car is super old, and not worth much. Total time: 20 minutes.Happy customer right here.

While Mighty Muffler may not be the least expensive of the shops out there (and maybe they are??) they have to be the fastest. I called a day ahead of time to make sure they would have my muffler in stock They were ready for me when I arrived the next day. I was in and out in 25 minutes. I barely had time to open my newspaper. This has not been my previous experience when waiting for work to be done on my car. Usually its a promise of an hour or two and then a host of apologies when it takes three or more hours. And they were friendly as well!

They got the job done but when we paid they didnt give us our change and the worker dropped the receipt on the floor and made us pick it up. The worker said woops sarcastically then walked away. Then continued to take pictures of the plates. Very rude.

I went in because I was told I had a broken muffler. They checked it out and told me exactly what needed to be fixed. I came back the next day and they fixed it in less than an hour and the price is definitely more reasonable than the name brand muffler places.

Very displeased.. my fiance called ahead about his exhaust leak and they told him to bring it in- the same day we brought It in and as we pulled up they were closing the shop for the day and said that they were going for a hunting trip. The main reason we needed to exhaust leak to be repaired was for the snow storm that we were looking to get the following day.. the owner said - dont worry it wont be to much snow, so we brushed it off with good hopes and when we got the truck back it was the same problem we had before, if not even worse. When we brought this to there attention they said they didnt have the parts to fix it.. unbelievable. Very unsatisfied.

Jim may be a crotchy old bast#rd, and he will not sugar coat anything for the typical snowflake, but he is actually more than fair. If you need pampering and free coffee and snacks and free shuttle, go to a dealership and waste your whole day and pay 4 times more . I have brought in every kind of car for all kinds of reasons- exhaust systems, suspension, O2 sensors, mufflers, headers, etc. He and his two guys can do more than just mufflers, swing by with your needs and see if jim wants to take on your problem or project.

They do good work at a very fair price

I ordered some exhaust tips from them. He told me it would be about an hour and it took over 2 hrs. Then I finally got to pull my car in and he looked at and told me immediately he couldnt do it. He had a bad attitude. If he would of looked at my car in the first place and told me this. I wouldnt of waisted 3 hrs of my day. Complete waist of time!!
