Horrible customer service skills. They wanted to argue about the penske truck not being all the way full when it was given to me the same way. The guy doing the inspection wanted to question me for pictures of a full tank when I first received the truck or if I had told the guy I got it from about the tank not being full. I was in a hurry and short on time to move from Texas to Colorado so I didnt have time to argue over gas. I would rather go elsewhere.

In and out in 10 minutes. I reserved a truck and a car dolly but they didnt have the dolly so they upgraded me to a car trailer for free. The people there were super nice and very knowledgeable. Awesome experience.

A great Penske location that I have never had a complaint with. This will be my 3rd truck rental from them and it has always been a good experience. Great customer service.

The service reps were very polite, professional, and helpful. The check-in was done in a timely manner and everything was explained in great detail about the charges, warranty, return, etc. I ordered 2 trucks on separate days, but one after the other. The trucks were available, clean, low mileage, and no mechanical issues driving from Thornton to Colorado Springs. Both gentlemen that did the walk through on each truck was very kind, very detailed, and helpful with every question that I had. The truck was much cheaper than Uhaul and I would recommend this pickup location to anyone. (Note: We did not drop off at this location so there is no personal experience for both sides.)

Super place they gave us a almost brand new truck to rent from Denver Colorado to Las Vegas it road very nice seats r kinda hard for going on long trips

After having a TERRIBLE experience at the Thornton location, we took our truck here for after hours drop off on a day they were closed. We were met with a VERY friendly staff member that took the keys and truck from us, despite them being closed. We were so thankful for him and his courtesy and customer service. AVOID THORNTON AND RETURN HERE IF POSSIBLE!

This was previously a 1 star. Look at the bottom and see what I initially wrote...BUT, I have converted my review into a 5 star review simply due to the way they handled our experience. Upon Penske reading my review and receiving a letter I sent to their executive management, they called me directly on my cell phone. They didnt make excuses or otherwise pass the buck. They owned up to their mistakes and more than compensated us for not only the cost of the truck but also our trouble and inconvenience. Though this doesnt change the experience we had on our trip, this DEFINITELY changes my impression of the company. It is rare, in this day and age for a company of any size (let alone a company the size of Penske) to admin fault of any kind. Before they contacted me I was under the impression that this was a dishonest, unreliable company riddled with problems. After speaking with them and after them making it right I fully believe that this was a perfect storm of unfortunate circumstances. That being said, I will definitely give Penske another chance. Their trucks are in much better condition than U-hauls and their terms are more lenient.Bravo, Penske. Youve more than redeemed yourself. For U-haul, I would classify them as a quality, reliable machine you can always depend on. For Penske, I would now put you in a pretty elite classification of a company that strives to give great customer service and cares about their customers. When something goes wrong, you bend over backward to make it right. Thank you for changing my opinion.Deceiving and a royal pain to work with. Truck seemed like a great deal. Very clean. Low miles. Nice sales people, but as I type this on my phone I am broken down on the side of the road. Their truck wont start and I cant get anyone to answer roadside assistance. Ive been here for an hour and no one will help me. No idea what will happen.

Lame, bad service, not friendly. Love how they told me Uhual doesnt guarantee your truck reservation and they would... And on pick up day, Oh by the way here is your truck, just not the right size... Glad I still had the Uhual reservation or I would have been majorly screwed. Not to mention their larger trucks are huge and did not feel comfortable driving them...

The phone call was frustrating within seconds. In the middle of me asking about deck heights, Nick cuts me off to ask what dates?. I paused, took a breath, and finished my question. He didnt answer it. Instead he asked back more sternly for which dates?. I told him the date and repeated my question. Instead of answering my question, he asks another question, what are you trying to do? I told him I needed the smallest truck thats a standard dock height. Well theyre all standard 5 or 6 feet dock height. I told him Ive never seen a 6 dock. So he asks again, what are you trying to do? Thats it, Im done. Answer the customers questions first and without cutting them off

Great customer service. They go the extra mile. Everyone we worked with had a great smile and attitude to match. All we did was drop off a car dolly/trailor at this location, but it was quite memorable how friendly the counter lady was, as well as, the guy who unhooked the trailor from our truck. The counter woman found out we still had to unload the truck, which included a washer and dryer. She suggested using their appliance dolly to make it easier. We got prepared to pay a rental fee for it and she said we could have it for free! We had been so stressed out by needing the truck extra days (due to a mixup on our lease and not being able to move in our new place on time), but Penske made it easier by doing many small nice things like this to lighten our load in life. It was a nice Welcome back to Colorado gesture!
