I found cockroaches in my unit! I was completely disgusted so decided to get my stuff out of there and switch to another facility. Definitely would not recommend renting out a unit here.

Im so glad I found CubeSmart! They honored an awesome rate for a 5x8 space that I found on a Storage Unit price comparison website. After having to move out of my place in Seal Beach, CA and move back home due to COVID-19 cancelling my in-person classes, things were very stressful. Ernest of CubeSmart Westminster made the process very easy. He is a delight to work with! The facility is immaculately clean and in a nice area. It is extremely convenient. When Im in CA I often access my storage unit and I feel welcomed every time.The national call center is very helpful as well. My leather motorcycle jacket h a little tiled cupboard were stolen when they had all of the units opened to repaint. Then, my unit has been broken into on two different occasions. No way to tell what was stolen as they went through & made a mess of absolutely everything. Apparently, theres no cameras inside the buildings so, they are unable to properly secure the units. For the 2 break ins, they said they would check the security footage. For the first break in they kept telling me they would do it, but they never did. I didnt bother with the second one.For the first break in the staff told me the cops wouldnt come out so I waited several days to file a police report. Plus the staff had already touched all over everything putting it back in. When I filed the report, the police told me they would have come out & taken fingerprints but, now it was too late.Reply to owner.... You are already aware of all 3 of these break-ins... we have discussed them & Ive let you know of my displeasure over the matter.

Easy access and kept clean.

I just took a unit here today. Dolly and Ryan were wonderful to deal with getting into the unit. They were friendly, efficient, and helpful. I have one very small issue with the $22 administrative fee. It sort of makes free first month or half-price for three months untrue. I also dont care for the mandatory insurance: Some have homeowners policies that will cover their stored items. In my case, my storage items are not particularly valuable. I think CubeSmart (and the other storage places) are just taking extra profit by requiring their insurance. In spite of the admin fee and mandatory insurance, the total price was excellent. After a full search of about 20 storage facilities in the area, this CubeSmart location had the lowest price I could find. Total cost for my 4x6 was only $50 to get in, $30 for the next two months, then $50 thereafter ... those figures include the insurance and the admin fee. They gave me a great deal. They are at least $10 less per month than the next lowest cost facility, and often they looked to be a full $20 less than other facilities, where I would have been asked to pay $70 per month in total charges.

Moving is a very stressful event, but within seconds I was very comfortable and happy to sit down after moving all day. The 10pm access to gate was a life saver for me. Cube Smart is very organized-I like that. I called a main office to ask questions and set up a cube and in a few minutes I received a call from my local location. Hidden location but perfect for my needs. Friendly staff. They guy drove me around the storage center and showed me several spaces in person so I could make the best choice for my needs. There is a $12 monthly insurance fee in addition to the monthly rent.
