Review during COVID: Clerk did not wear a mask at the register (there is a plexi glass barrier) and the front of the store was full of old men smoking cigarettes. A little seedy, but it is a liquor store after all.

Good selection of liquor store related items. Decent selection of craft beer, not much though. This location is really close to home and not a bad place to go when you need a last minute resupply. I would stop by total wine if I had more time its cheaper there and theres no 75 cent credit card fee charge.

They finished the remodel...it looks fantastic inside. Very good selection of liquors and wine and beer. Great spot to get a unique gift for somebody. Prices even with surrounding area rates..better in some things. Seems to be quite lucky for the locals who like to play the scratchers and Ca. Lottery.

Everytime I go in there I get friendly informative service.Its normal on the outside bu nice on the inside.Overall its probly the most inviting liquor store in the city.

Extensive selection of alcohol. Some quite expensive. If you want to impress with quality liquor Id go here.Employees are very friendly and informed. Lots of lottery winners are from here too.

They were pretty rude here. Its like you have to be asian in order to get helped. Im a tiny little white chick and I just wanted to buy a few things real quickly and get back on the road.These people completely ignored me, as their customer, and held a conversation very loudly amongst each other in whatever language there native is. Plus one of the employees would not let me look at the merchandise!!! He kept standing in my way, purposefully as if I was going to steal something! Im not a thief I dont steal. I had plenty of money that day to cover the cost of what I needed to purchase. Whatever, Five Star Liquor Lost my sale. I went over to Ziggys Smoke Shop instead received excellent customer service and gave them $140 . I dont recommend going here if youre white & only speak English. 😉Wouldnt want to be the wrong race or anything. What are we back in 1950? Seriously its like going back in time. Just go to beach and McFadden To Ziggyss Smokeshop. Theyre Way Nicer and have a huge inventory too. 😀Which btw, I want to add this little tid bit, I am nowhere near racist. I dont see color, I see people. thats yeas and for just completely rude and uncalled for.They just lost out on a $200 sale as well. Hope it was All worth it, Five Star Liquor!
