I dont like leaving a negative review but I think its needed here for 3 reasons. (1) Rental Process was a rip off - I rented a violin and was told I could gain credit towards purchasing one. Sounds great right? Well they didnt tell at the time of purchase it had to be one of equal value to the rental ($800). Since it was out of my budget I ended up not using that credit. (2) Reimbusement process is a pain - I returned the violin the start of my next month but was charged that same day. In store the employees arent empowered to reimburse you. So youre given a customer service number to call which takes about 30mins to get through the red tape of reimburse. Not a great time. (3) Sold expensive bad product and cant return - As a first time player I was sold a string cleaner but the thing doesnt work well at all. Even a towel worked way better. Despite me being in thier system the employees cant take it back without packaging/receipt. I was told the manager might be able to help but Im still waiting on that call back.Overall, a super disappointing experience. The other reviews were right. I shouldnt have rented here.

Well 6 or so years ago my daughter got her violin from here and everything was fine. She stopped after two years. My youngest son has been playing at it for two and a half years, so we needed a larger violin. Now they want to sell him one. I have had that come up in the past but I always said who knows if the will keep going. Well today they bring out this thing of beauty. My son wants it. It’s only for sale. Oh and the one he brought home, he thought it was a viola we had to look it up. Badly out of tune.Side bar we could buy it, but the kid never practices and isn’t good. My daughter was way better. Not to be a you know what.Anyway I ask will you buy it back if he decides he wants to stop. They say no. So we keep renting. What the heck am I supposed to do with a violin once’s he is done? Nothing sells like it use to but really of it was that great why not buy it back. So all in all if this kids goes on to be some great violin guy, then I will buy him one. But a kid nope. I guess after six kids you know how way to many things work. So hey store buy them back sell them used.
Wonderful employees in this store. So helpful and kind. I really appreciated the nice young man that answered all my questions with patience. Not knowing much about instruments at all he was so helpful for my daughters first time with a instrument. He never tried to sell me more only what I needed and I sure appreciated it all. Definitely will be back.

Bought my daughter a slightly used, absolutely gorgeous sax for $46 after renting her sax from Music and Arts for 3 years. Such an amazing program!!! Im so thrilled and so is my daughter!!!

Stopped in for the first time today and LOVED this place immediately. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful and didnt make me feel awkward because of my lack of musical knowledge. Instead they were patient and really listened to my questions and answered them in a straightforward manner. The suggestions I was given were helpful and at no point did I feel like the sale was more important that I was. I will definitely be returning.
This place is a total rip off. When we rented this at my sons old school, we asked if we could return it and get a different instrument next year if he changes his mind. We were told YES. Im here now needing to do an even EXCHANGE and because its not an ORCHESTRA instrument that is offered at his new school we cant exchange it. So we LOST all the money we already put into it.. Nothing but LIARS at this place. Do yourself a favor and DONT RENT FROM HERE. There are PLENTY of other places that will not lie to you just to get your money..

These guys were great! My son joined band this year and we needed to get him a saxophone. I was frustrated from talking to other music stores. When I called I talked to Patrick on the phone, he was knowledgeable and polite. My son and I went into the store to purchase the saxophone we talked about. I didnt feel pressured to buy anything. When I asked about additional itemsI felt like everyone went out of there way to help get them and make recommendations. I wasnt left to figure it out myself. They talked to my son and made him apart of the process. We will be going back in the future for our music needs.
Though I am not generally a fan of this chain, this location and it’s employees are wonderful. Thank you for setting me up with a quality rental instrument and more importantly breaking me a deal on the books I purchased. Worth the 50 minute commute!
The Staff are very helpful, nice and very friendly. The instructors are awesome. My kiddo takes clarinet and piano lessons and they are fabulous teachers.
My first time in the store tonight. It was extremely busy, but the staff was friendly and very helpful. Maximilian took the time to explain the high level concept of guitar tuning to my son. Well be back for any future music needs.
Walked in, no hello, no what can I help you with. Walk over to case where violins are which is right in front of the 2 men and I guess I must have been a ghost because I wasnt acknowledged. So not even going to waste my time.

At 12:47pm today I visited your Arbor Village7350-B West 88th Ave store in Westminster Colorado. I purchased a new set of violin strings and paid to have them restrung on my instrument. I was told it would tae 10 minuets, but it ended up taking 40 minuets which isnt the issue. The employee who restrung my violin clearly had no idea what she was doing. During the final tuning after the new strings were on, she moved the strings in a poor way and the bridge popped off. She said it was because my violin was cheap. After fixing the strings and tuning it again she moved the strings again and the bridge came off, again. Now she finally asks the man working behind the cash register to tune it, and he does without any issues at all. Once its finished she tells me that the bridge is warped and that I need a new one. Its supposedly going to cost me $58 and require my instrument to be in a repair shop for two weeks. I can promise that my bridge was not warped when I stepped foot in that store. The lady who restrung my violin ruined the bridge and possibly ruined the entire instrument itself. I am beyond upset and know I will not trust this company after today. Your employee damaged my instrument and is telling me that I have to pay with my own money to repair their damages. I cannot use words to explain how infuriated I am.
Hands-down the biggest rip-off company Ive ever dealt with. Convinced my wife to lease a $200 instrument for $25/mo and then after a year of payments offered a buyout of $400. Shop around and avoid this scam.
Ive driven by this place multiple times and always wondered what it was like inside. Now I know. Disorganized store and rude staff. A black gentleman that worked there completely ignored me and acted like it was an absolute inconvenience that I was there.To anyone else who is curious, dont bother.
