Clean store, well stocked. I only gave 4 stars because the bagger put my bread in the bottom of the bag and squished it with my produce. I was busy getting stuff out of my cart so i couldnt stop it.

I dont go in here much but I went in the other night with my mom while we were in the area. We only came in for a few things but it was clean and quiet. Our cashier Alyssa was very kind and helpful :)

Love their rotisserie chickens. The store is nice and clean and I like the layout. However, it is on the pricey side.

Compared to the other grocery stores in town, Weiss, Walmart, food Lion, etc, Giant food is clearly the best. Their fruits and vegetables are fresh, store brands are relatively good, bakery pies are the best in the area at a grocery store, and the people are friendly responsible and competent. Walmart is absolutely deplorable from a grocery store standpoint. At weiss, they wont even provide you with a bag for your groceries, their prices are high and store brands are terrible. At food Lion the people are completely incompetent, the bakery is lousy and the meats are very variable in quality; never know what to expect. Clearly, giant is the best. I only wish Wegmans was closer than cockeysville or Owings Mills. So if youre unwilling to drive to wegmans, which clearly is a five-star grocery store, and Giant grocery store is clearly the best option in Carroll County Maryland. And Ive been grocery shopping for over 20 years here, so theres no question about it.

The store itself isnt bad, the have a great selection of produce and cheeses. However, low selection of snack items and high pricing. Certain things arent too bad. They always seem to keep shelves stocked and have friendly store associates. Not my every day go to but good for novelties.

Grocery pickup service is excellent and they have made ordering on-line so much better than other sites. Love that they will substitute at equal price, size product. Employees who load your car provide friendly service!!!

Freshest fruit Ive seen and lower prices then anywhere else

I came in at 22:55 tonight (3/7/21) trying to get a cold soda. The woman who was working rudely told me they were closing in a few minutes. Instead of allowing me to get a soda she tried to push me out the door even though I was out of there by 22:57 per receipt time. Get some better evening customer service. The day crew is great always helpful with what im looking for. But I will no longer be coming here at night for a 2 minute trip.

Reasonable prices and much larger than it looks. The ability to use the gun as you go and then checkout at self checkout saves so much time. It is truly one of the better features of the store. I would recommend shopping here

I ordered online for pickup, however when we got there, they said that the order was cancelled. Nobody sent me a message or email or anything telling me that it was cancelled. They even sent me an email that it was ready and made me wait in the car for nothing.

I just went for my covid-19 vaccine to the Giant pharmacy in Westminster. So organize so smooth so easy and everyone was so friendly. I highly recommend you sign up for your shot through the giant in Westminster if you live anywhere near that area talk about making your life easier without fighting the lines and the traffic!

I normally love and shop only at Giant stores, but this is the worst location I have ever been to. Every single time I go shopping or order pick up there are weird problems.

This store has management issues.Ive been shopping at the Westminster store for over 25 yrs, lately it seems as though customer service has taken a turn for the worse, issues that are not COVID related.I shop late, its my favorite time to shop, there is a reduced risk of COVID and is really the only time i have to shop.On two occasions at this store i go to check out with a cart full of items only to discover there are no registers open and that Im expected to use self checkout with a full cart, i ask an employee about why the registers are all closed and both times Im told its because theyre about to close, so i turn and begin using self checkout but quickly realize that i probably shouldve gone somewhere else that has better customer service.The employee was just fine with standing there and watching me struggle to ring up an entire cart, after ringing in a few items I turned around and find myself ready to stop and leave the entire basket of stuff right there, they can either check me out properly or return everything to the shelves, this was the second time this has happened to me at this store.When the employee noticed I was about to walk out leaving everything right where it was she finally broke down and acted as if she was annoyed which made me feel like i was in the wrong and was a bit embarrassing, twice this very same thing happened.Yesterday i was expecting a friend to join me for dinner so i went to Giant to get some scallops for a special recipe, the time was 7:45 when i arrived at the seafood counter only to find out it was empty and the guy behind the counter was mumbling something about wanting to go home, he had emptied the cabinet early and basically ignored me when i asked if I could get a pound of scallops, i get that it was Sunday so i decided to just return the other recipe items i had picked up on my way to the seafood counter and take my friend to dinner.So heres how its going to go from here on, i will not be returning to ANY Giant food store for the foreseeable future, why would i when there are numerous other options?Ill be taking some time to get used to Safeways store configuration, they have always had a nicer store with many more options than Giant ever dreamed of, i always had to go there when i wanted higher end products like organic Scotish Salmon etc...Why did I ever shop at Giant in the first place?My step father retired from Giant after 48 yrs, i worked at several stores myself back in the 80s, its been a part of the family, gas points are good when i can get gas right at the same spot.Safeway will now be our go to store, nicer store, charging station for the Prius etc...Its just time i guess.Good luck Giant..........

The best part of this store is cake decorator. She deserves 5 plus stars my 4 stars are for the store itself. My cakes I have gotten for my daughters here have all exceeded my expectations. She even added edible glitter and told me the little girls go crazy over that. She was not lying there were so many complements on how great the cakes looked.

Its always awesome, well stocked, clean, polite employees who go out of their way to help you. And if you watch for sales and specials you can get fresh groceries for the same price or cheaper than Walmart.Its just a nice grocery store period.

Giant is the grocery store I can always count on to consistently carry all our family needs. It is always clean and staff are friendly and helpful. I would like more variety in the deli salads and single serve desserts in the bakery. What they carry is very good. My favorite place to grocery shop!

Dont carry everything we need, thus the 1 star deduction. Solid store-brand generic line for many daily essentials. Bonus points for up to $2 discount per gallon of gas at adjacent gas station. Usually quick check out, with many self-check lanes. Usually open til Midnight. Deli, bakery, meat & seafood counters close much earlier, not cool for us night owls :-(

Ive always liked Giant. They have nice looking produce, have a large selection and I just like shopping there. They dont have a lot of the organics that some of the newer stores would have like Wegmans, Whole Foods, or Trader Joes. But they have what the average person is looking for. They are a bit on the pricey side but they have s good deal on gas too.

They have a good supply of plant based foods which is a must for me because I am Vegan

They are always polite and courteous. They greet you whenever you come in and always offer help.

Very nice well stocked store. Staff is great. Prices can be very high compared to other stores. They have really good sales though. If you shop the deals keep Giant on the to-do list.

Giant Food is an easy and fun place to shop. Besides the great bargains that you get with your bonus card, everyone that Ive encountered there have been the nicest and most helpful people that you can ask for when shopping at a store. All my needs are met at Giant Food and I will continue to shop there forever.

The customer service people were very nice as the scan yourself checkout decided to die while I used it. I had to wait until they were done checking out everyone else before they let me move which is beyond my comprehension as to why.

Knew what I was going to get. Found it and check out. Store wasnt crowded good price on what I needed. Will go back again.

My opinion is the store is extremely difficult to navigate/find what you need or anyone available to help. I was impressed with how nice the employees were (under the circumstance the store is understaffed and the employees overwhelmed) however I only recall seeing 3 or 4

I love Giant. All staff are always friendly and eager to help. Its clean. I hardly ever have to return anything but when I have it has always been a pleasant and painless experience.

I like giant, they have fresh meat and fresh vegetables and fruit.

Excellent produce section. The staff I met are friendly and helpful. I had to change my last review as it was unfair. The prices are higher than other grocery stores for some items but thats to be expected from Giant stores. Usually I find the products are top quality.

I like the fact that I can scan my groceries and bag them as Im shopping using the scan-it program. I can see my total as I shop and verify prices too. The best part is checkout is a breeze as long as you are not audited, then its a pain.

Giant is my go to store, but there is one lady that works there, not sure of her name, but she always gives me the nastiest looks and is always so rude to me and my family. Shes a shorter lady, short brown hair and glasses, usually see her up front mostly at self checkout. Very rude lady

Lines are very long. Customers are uneducated and cant run a self checkout. Should be a time limit then they have someone scan their groceries. Employees are very nice and helpful. Store is huge and has a huge selection. Prices might be the highest in town, but the shopping centre has a great selection and will pop in every 3 or so weeks.

They had no rubbing alcohol or peroxide

This giant is run by an awful store manager who treats their employees horribly! When workers are adults and they only getting paid $9 when theyve been there for more than a year! This union doesnt care at all about their employees when they ask for raises and their rules always contradict each other. The service and food is good but its business end is disgraceful!! Start giving your employees more than minimum wage especially when theyre adults and have bills to pay! Dont just ignore their request for more pay and wonder why people quit!

It was a pleasure going to the Giant food store in Westminster today the shelves were all stock well and workers were in a good mood because the sun was finally shining after a week of ice, snow and rain.

The management at this store needs some serious training on customer service and.or ethics and doing what you say youll do. Rule #1 dont tell a customer you will.do something and then never do it.. in fact how about you just dont even offer just keep your mouth shut next time so I wont depend on you to actually do something and check every week only to find out that you not only didnt order anything but what you did have you sold after saying you wouldnt... unreal I should have just ordered my own like I planned on doing but didnt depending on you guys to actually do what you say you will now I have none

They never have what you need. They are out of stock then just remove the item. It seems to be mainly this store, the one near my work does not have this problem. I stopped wasting my time shopping here.

Great selection and always stocked, horrible pharmacy however. The pharmacy is really slow and half the time they dont even receive prescriptions sent electronically by doctors. Really rude and unhelpful pharmacy staff. The rest of the staff such as casheirs, bakery staff and costumer service staff are all really nice and helpful though. Never use their pharmacy, only use for grocery shopping!

Everything has soy in it. If you want non soy bread its expensive. Its selection is small. Customers arent so walmart-like but the quality really is nothing out of an ordinary mediocre grocery store.. Just expensive

The human being (and I use that term loosely) complaining about the managers is plain wrong. People make mistakes. Decorating your story only makes it worse. At least they offered an apology and offered to make it right. There are 3 sides to every story. I have only had great experiences at this store. Sometimes they dont carry a product I like, but I go and get it at another store without a peep. No need to make a mountain over a mole hill.

Most stuffs are over priced! I would suggest every one go to ALDI or Walmart. This Giant store are the worst, always long line and very slow to check out, the managers are unprofessional just on their cellphone all day.
