What a lovely place to buy expensive plastic army men from England. Customer service is great, but the hours end up being a little wonky due to the one man store format.

Not sure what happened to the previous manager, but the new one is quite obnoxious and awkwardly rude at times and doesnt seem capable of reading his customers (or the room.) My most recent visit he was doing an 40k into for a customer and was being so loud and obnoxious the rest of the people in the store (including myself) looked up at him, the at eachother. I felt more uncomfortable, the longer I was in the store and just grabbed a few essentials. I had gon in intendin to buy the Charadon terrain box (and data cards), and a couple different units... basically, the store lost out on a an additional $200-$300. Headed to Brookhurst Hobbies now and wont be coming back here again.

Dont ever normally go out of my way to write reviews but this place is great.Came there when I was bummed out and had some money Dan helped me get into the hobby pretty fast and was super cool(I had been following warhammer for almost 2 decades never got into the miniatures)Fast forward to this year I had an absence for a few months and came back to find Dan gone. After the months of health issues I came back to find the order I placed was still there and I was able to receive it by the newer gentleman running the shop. He was super cool and if I was staying local I would still come back here every weekend if I could.I highly recommend coming to the source here these people are super good at knowing their stuff and knowing how to help you with everything warhammer related. I honestly went from intimidated by painting to having confidence to go learn things on my own despite them having resources there to teach you that as well.

Amazingly fun place with great people. If your not familiar with games workshop, go check out your nearest shop. It’s essentially a real time strategy game, but in person. If you give it a chance it’s likely to be your biggest and funnest hobby.

Staff is super nice and helpful.

Showed up on a Friday at 2:50. Door was locked and no one answered the phone. I was pretty frustrated, but I stuck around and am glad I did. The owner was on break, opened up at 3 and did a great job of introducing me to the hobby. Edited my review cause I was pretty salty before 😅

Like other people have said, showed up at 3:15pm on Wednesday but the door was locked and no one was inside. Lights were on, no sign or anything about where the worker(s?) went.From what I could see through the window, it looked very nice and clean especially compared to other mini/hobby shops of this type that are usually very messy. Unfortunately I wasnt able to go inside to write a more in-depth review.

Staff change has lead to poor customer service lately.

The store Manager (Chris) is miles apart better than the store Manager at the Tustin Games Workshop. Chris is obviously well versed in all of the products, history, culture, and fluff of each army and game. He gets to know the customers, remembers key info (he doesnt act like hes never met you each time you walk into his store). The gamers are well behaved and organized, the store is always picked up and clean, the product is always organized and Chris knows every detail of every model. Doesnt push the sale but his enthusiasm certainly makes you want to buy.

I showed up at 3:30 to a locked door and nobody there... other people have walked up and wondered why its closed. Any help?Update: he showed up so I increased from one star to 3. Employee was nice and helpful, but i still feel that if he is open, the door should be open.

Really friendly cashier who helped me pick out paints. Definitely will go back.

Store currently not open to look inside the do, I understand the current world situation but there is nothing online saying you cannot shop inside.

Couldnt ask for a more friendly staff. Took the time to me find the paints I needed, and even recommended options that saved me money.

Manager is Excellent, Knowledgeable, and Helpful in a nonpushy way. Store is clean and great vibes.

They have been super helpful the only thing I would say is the hours listed on Google for them is incorrect. They close by 8pm on the weekend.Theres always someone employee or customer always around so you can ask for help or just want to discuss things. There are however only two tables to play on.

Showed up at 3 on a Saturday. Lights where on but the door was locked, shipping boxes where all over the floor, and no one in sight. No signs explaining that the employee was on break or when they would be back. Tried calling and got what I assume was a fax machine.Was looking to get my daughter into the game and she was pretty excited, so we got some food, figuring the person was just in the bathroom. Came back 30 minutes later and still locked, still got a fax machine when calling.Terrible way to run a business.

Its aways a fun time to go . might be out of the way for me, but if you are close buy and want a fun hang out spot for tabletop wargameing . this might be a fun place for you to check out

Friendly staff really welcoming. The only reason for the minus star was because they didnt have the model I was looking for.
