Excellent customer service from the moment we arrived. We were greeting warmly and our expert jeweler started by asking what style of engagement ring I was seeking. She was extremely knowledgeable and I never felt like she was trying to sell us. I learned so much about diamonds. She helped me find the most exquisite ring that was truly “me”. What a wonderful experience. I cannot wait to pick up my engagement ring once it’s resized. Thank you KJ.
Their jewelry warranty process through Kay leaves so much to be desired.Drop off (March 1st) went smooth enough. Although the store associate did put my email in wrong and I never received a single update. I should have asked to double check the email she put in, but then again so should she.Pick up (March 18th) was less then perfect. I called this morning and spoke with Judy. The only polite way to say this is she had almost no customer service skills when talking to clients on the phone. It was sounding like she was blaming me for not knowing if my ring was in yet or not. I think we exact phrase was, “Well did you get the email for it? Because if not then we don’t have it.” Well Judy, that wouldn’t have worked for me because your store put my email in wrong. Then she tells me she has no idea when it will be ready and they’re still backed up from the snow storm...that was three days ago and literally everything is open again. I have a lot of questions for a jewelry store that doesn’t have access to tracking numbers for jewelry that they are mailing for clients. This seems like a huge over site on their part. I had to call the Kay customer service just to find out that it was in fact delivered there today and just had to have a final inspection and would be ready. All of this was before noon. Around 4p I go in because I still haven’t received a phone call (honestly assumed they wouldn’t just because of how everything was going). And I was told that it’s there but hasn’t been inspected yet. The lady was nice enough to do it for me right then and there. Then I was told that hey at least I got my ring back on the day it was promised. Why yes, yes I did. Because I went in myself and stayed on top of it not because they were doing it themselves!Moral of the story, there are a lot of better Kay Jeweler locations when it comes to customer service. They all have to send your jewelry to the same place for any repairs but I could at least have had a friendlier time going about it.
Great experience overall. No pressure, no rush. My little girl was looking for a mothers day present and the staff was so patient and helpful.Currently (May 2021) covid-19 restrictions, sign in and limited entry. Just fyi.
I went to pickup a ring I bought for a gift and was told I needed to stand outside in the cold until I was instructed to come into the building. A male employee told me they were following COVID-19 guidelines for businesses and they were not allowed to have more than one customer per employee at a time. There were two employees in the store when I arrived. This is just simply not true and there is no such ordinance for Colorado businesses to lock their clients in the cold until they are permitted to come inside. I called and spoke to McKenzie, who identified herself as the manager. I advised her that there is no such ordinance per the State of Colorado to support the statements they made to me about not being able to go inside. She said they follow their corporate guidelines. She refused to provide her last name or her email. She also refused to provide me with an email for corporate. Im a small business owner in Colorado and I too am taking precautions to ensure the safety for my clients and employees, but I do not force people to stand in the cold until Im ready to do business with them. Dont go to this store! They will leave you out in the cold!
Place was great. They had limits on folks so may see a line that went quick and felt covid safe so I appreciated it.
Awesome store they do a great job If they mess up accidentally they will bend over backwards to help get the situation solved, I recommend Lilly she has helped me pick out a beautiful engagement ring and helped me so much.
Pablo was very helpful and a good guy. Its hard for the store with COVID going on. Only a limited amount of people in the store at a time, and this upset some people. But still a great experience.
The ladies at the store are amazing! They were extremely helpful to me and my fiancé when we were looking for a specific type of metal for rings. Thank you for making our engagement process so smooth!
Really helpful and caring. Mackenzie is the best!!! I recommend you ask for her when you’re in there.
Milana was great! Great service
Worst customer service. Had my engagment ring cleaned while I was working with a sales person on another item. It was inspected with nothing noted to be missing. Left and noticed one of my accent diamonds was missing. Ofcourse, if its not in the bottom of thier cleaner it isnt thier problem. Then, the person helping me was training a gentleman, in the middle of ( an already longer than it should be) encounter. The trainer says, im going to lunch.... The guy was only on his 3rd day of orientation.Do not waste your time or money here!!
Very helpful and courteous. Good precautions in place for Covid-19.
Lilly was professional and took care of my rings and necklace. Perfect service and care. Thank you, RJD
I have several pieces of jewelry from this place; as does my family. Ive been to several locations and this one is by far the best. It has become my regular store for all of my jewelry needs. Lily, Donna and Kevin are great. I am a very picky person, with very small wrists and size 3 ring finger, and their knowledge, professionalism, patience, and friendless exceeds expectations and Kay Jewelers has great jewelry options as well a great warranty options. They definitely have a loyal customer here.
If I could give them no stars I would. The girls here are so RUDE! Especially the manager Judy. What terrible customer service to represent Kay.Dont waste your time here and drive down the road to the one at the Denver Premium outlets where they actually want to help you.
Not the best Kay location - the doors were still locked when we got there about 5 minutes after opening. We were there to do our 6 month inspection on a ring we had purchased at another location. The woman helping us made a strange remark about how I should trade my aquamarine engagement ring for a diamond one. (If I wanted a diamond ring I would have one...) Once the ring was cleaned she gave it back to us & went back to whatever she was doing previously. We were interested in looking at wedding bands, but felt like she just wanted us out so we left.
Judy helped us out and was very professional.
I have been to this location several times. I love it. I can not say enough about staff members I have met. They are so helpful and friendly. We have purchased several pieces from Kay and love them all. This is our jewelry go to place.
I have been purchasing with k for over eight years now. I have never had the type of problems that have experience with this Kay location, they are not very welcoming and are not focused on customer service. I have had jewelry lost I have had someone not call me when my door is ready and not really show any care for when my jewelry was lost. I am going to pick up my last piece tomorrow and the manager never really cares to apologize or anything with these problems. I will go out of my way to a different location.
This store management has awful customer service. They interrupt you and argue with you. There new appointment protocol was never sent out and the manager answer was “you should have called and checked. People don’t understand we have new protocols” clearly, no one knows because they never sent anything out. From the conversation with her, it sounds like I’m not the only one that has had this happen to.
My engagement and wedding rings were purchased at Kay Jewelers in 2010 with the lifetime warranty. I brought it in on Nov 22nd to be resized and they noted my center stone had chipped. They told me my expected return date was 12/7. I received a call a few days later saying it would take longer because they didnt have replacement diamonds at the service center, it had to be repaired at the home office. I called again around 12/22 to ask for an update as no one had contacted me, and was told my new promise date was 1/6 and my sales rep would call me the next day to check in. I never received a call. It is now January 8th, I called the store to check in again. I was told my new estimated, not promised date is January 22nd. My rings will be gone for over two months when all is said and done and the communication has been terrible. Two stars because I appreciate that they caught the damaged stone, but their customer service is awful.
My husband and I have several pieces of jewelery from this location. Ms. Judy is the best. I have had pieces fix with no problem.
Michelle is the best! Go to her directly for whatever you need she will work even after you leave! I have tiny fingers so sizing and everything is a mess most of the time but she is making it all smooth and easy
Went into Kay to purchase a new enhancer for my solitaire. My husband and I are celebrating our 10-year anniversary. I found the enhancer that I wanted, which by the way, the selection at Kay is better than at Zales or Shane Co. My solitaire and the enhancer were sent out for sizing only. They were not to be soldered together. When the rings came back they were in fact soldered together and my solitaire didnt fit correctly in the enhancer. I went back in and picked out a new enhancer and a new band. The store manager, assistant manager and Donna (sales woman) went above and beyond to make things right. As a first time buyer from Kay I was originally let down, but after working with Lily, Donna, and Jody, I am 100% satisfied with their dedication and commitment to make things right. My ring has gone back out to be placed in the new band with the new enhancer, but I feel confident writing this review that if anything else is to happen they they would make it right immediately.
Great friendly service.
Pretty disappointed in the wait times and lack of help at this jeweler in particular. I have had great experiences at Kay before but this particular place doesnt seem to ever be staffed correctly. Go with Kay just not this location.
I love jewelry. Excellent choices to choose from.
I had my ring in for its six month cleaning and to have it rhodium plated then shortly after I lose a diamond and am told that it will be over three months to repair. I am a newly wed and they have had my ring more than me in the first year. I have tried to be understanding but this is ridiculous. Then to top it off they may replace all my stones on the top!! Well then it wont be the same, it wont be the ring I got married to my husband with. All I have gotten is run around no one knows what is going on and they dont seem to care. This is the worst customer service. If you are considering buying there dont get a princess cut quad, it will spend more time in the shop then on your hand.
Not impressed. My husband bought me a necklace at Kay Jewelers for Valentines Day. I broke the chain and wanted to get it fixed quickly. The lady at the counter was friendly but not helpful. She said I could get the chain fixed for $40 and 2 weeks or upgrade the chain for $80. The exact same necklace was sitting on the counter for $45 on special. I could have paid $45 and got the chain right then. I felt like she was just trying to upsale me
Showed up 5 minutes before 9:00 and the doors were already locked. I showed the lady the time on my phone and she said really dude?. Honestly, if you want to close at 8:55 then dont say you close at 9:00. Zales up the street was more than happy to take my money (although I kept them there until 2 minutes after 9:00).
We had NO problem, Judy & Lilly were pleasant, professional & quite knowledgeable. They exceeded our expectations. We will be loyal customers.
I took my wedding bands in to get fixed after having to cut them off after a home accident. Very simple fix, saudered the bands back together. I received a cold welcome as I walked in, asked to go to the back for service. The gal behind the counter took the rings after I explained what I needed done and proceeded to show then to what I assume was the manager whom had his feet up on his desk his head in his cell the whole time (2 feet away) NOT once looking up to make eye contact with me to say hi smile NOTHING!!!! the counter gal came back to tell me I need UNNECESSARY work done to my ring adding up to $585.00!!!So, the $40.00 quoted on the phone was just a bait a hook!!! SORRY NOT FALLING FOR IT!!! Will not EVER shop here nor would I recommend anyone family, friends or acquaintances. Corporate might want to think about some customer service training. AS I found them to be rude, unfriendly and very unwelcoming.
Worst service ever. I had a brand new Kays ring sized through this location. Came back with the center emerald cracked all the way through. Sent it back. Came back the second time with other stones not set properly and a crack in the actual 14k gold setting!I was left messages on my machine Come pick up your ring...it looks gorgeous! Why arent they inspecting the rings before I have to come with my infant son, only to find out the ring is basically broken. With my naked eye I spotted the crappy work. How embarrassing for them. I think I might have gotten one half-assed apology. Do not waste your time here.
Excellent service. Great discounts
Have a warranty on ring, they was suppose to fix just one cracked baguette, and got it back and not only not fixed but in worse shape. They was going to replace the ring but they got the wrong one in. It was white gold instead of gold, Michelle tried to tell me that over time and roadium changed the color, not true!!!! They don’t roadium gold just white gold and it should not change color ever!!! I told her I just mine fixed the way it was and fix all the baguettes that are damaged and the gold that was all damaged. This is a 5000.00 dollar ring three caret, and they f-d it up. They wanted me to pick out a ring that wasn’t the going to be the same price this was, I said no just fix it. Michelle and a nother woman kept on trying to make excuses and make up information and I told them I’m not listening anymore just send it in and fix it. Michelle replied and the other woman if I can’t listen to take my ring and leave. I did and now we will see how that works out for them. They send their repaires to Jarards and they keep it at least three weeks, my daughter got her ring at Helzburg and they fix it right there no problems. Why,Why, do they this???? Now customer service tells me I have to wait three to five days to hear back on this problem, this is uncalled for!!!!!
Extremely helpful that will help you in anyway they can to make a purchase that fits your budget or plan.
Hours on website indicate the store is open until 9:00 pm. I went to pick up my repaired ring and the doors were locked. The employees just looked at me and I had to ask if they were closed. She just shook her head and went back to doing whatever she was doing. Strange since it was only 8:02 pm.
Checked their website and they said closed at 9. Also checked Google ant it said 9. Their Winter hours are different. I suggested to manager to get that changed. She said she already tried but couldnt.
Always very helpful... and with a smile.
The jewelry here is cheap in quality and overpriced.
Found them to be rude, not helpful and overpriced.
Fast easy way.
Nice site.
