Ive been a customer for a very long time. Always enjoy coming in for Great Customer service! Staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, & helpful. Love that the Arvada Store has fabric now! It is in my backyard almost, so need to pickup some that I run out of, I can quickly run & get it.
I have enjoyed being a customer for over 10 years. All of the employees are welcoming and knowledgable about the products at Rocky Mountain Sewing and Vacuum. The employees are always available to assist you with whatever your needs are for your visit. I have been to all 3 stores in the Denver area many times and they are all great.
Rosemary shared her expertise once again. Gave instructions and advice to assist with a project to insure success. I feel very lucky to have such a great resource on hand.
I walked in thinking I knew which sewing machine I was going to buy, but they did not have it in stock. Chris at the Arvada store offered to show me similar models by other companies that they had and I ended up falling in love with a machine that was in the same budget and had all of the features I wanted. I just bought that machine from RMSV and cant recommend them or Chris enough.
Sales people are great! I bought the extended warranty with my machine. You have to leave your machine for at least a month to get it repaired! Not good!!!!
When we walked in we where received some assistance right away. our saleslady was very helpful. she answered all questions. we left with what we came in for.
Excellent service at initial purchase and again during class instruction. They’re a great source for everything “sewing”. Their staff is knowledgeable and always available to speak with for any follow up questions or demonstrations. They really want you to have an enjoyable experience by providing free classroom demonstrations, whether you need to attend once or several times. Reggie Billings
Today I had the most pleasant experience at Rocky Mountain Sewing and Vacuum! I came into the store with a sewing machine that was useless and not working at all. I had a feeling that it was a bobbin problem but although I spent a long time trying to fix the problem myself, I couldnt get my machine to work. I left my sewing machine with Judy who was determined to see if she could be of help fixing it while I went to do a few errands. To my surprise - and to my delight! - when I returned to the shop, Judy and Rosemary had fixed my machine themselves! Judy was very helpful and took her time to explain to me what the problems were and how to avoid them in the future. She did not try to sell me a new machine and explained in detail what the cost would be if my machine had to be sent out for service. This was my first time visiting the store but I will make it my official sewing machine store from now on and will tell all my friends to make it theirs too. I encountered a staff that was very friendly and pleasant and also highly knowledgeable in its field. I recommend this shop without reservation.
I have been shopping at RMSV since the 90’s. They have always had the best customer service and their repair technicians are some of the best. I have purchased at least 5 Pfaff sewing and serger machines, a Juki serger, a BERNINA 750QE. Most recently, I purchased a BERNINA 850 overlocker. When my 740 had to go into repair, I was looking for an inexpensive backup machine, so I was offered the Bernette Academy, and I was pleasantly surprised at how durable it is. It fit the Bill. You will always be satisfied shopping here. Once, back in 2014, I demo’d a BabyLoc serger at another competitor. The salesperson could not get it to air thread, so I left there and went straight over to RMSV. I knew they would have the machine I needed, and They got me situated with a product I am happy with and still using.
I purchased a Scan N Cut a couple of years ago. Not using it often, I needed a refresher course. Rhonda at the Arvada store was kind enough to let me stop in within a half hours notice and give me one-on-one instruction. She then let me know that supplies were on sale that particular day. Was most grateful for all the help.
Rob is funny and extremely knowledgeable. The staff in Arvada is knowledgeable and professional. When I have a question I call and get the answer. They always being in a folks in the industry for training opportunities and they package some fantastic deals!!
Superior to all others, period! Dogs hair for 50plus years, today have vacuum that works.
Rocky Mountain Sewing and Vacuum folks are always knowledgeable and helpful. They keep my sewing machines running smoothly. Also they stock or can order all the supplies necessary for utilizing the latest sewing techniques. And they always have solutions to help me achieve my sewing project objectives. I’ve been a customer for about six years.
Very nice experience and very friendly and helpful!!! Thanks ladies 😉
Rocky Mountain Sewing is amazing! The personnel are all very helpful, knowledgeable and always there to help you. I had a embroidery project that I had to get finished and my Brother machine was not being helpful. Carol and all of the employees are extremely kind, they know little tricks and hints that help. My project is completed and it looks amazing. I would highly recommend Rocky Mountain Sewing and Vacuum to anyone and everyone.
Its always a pleasure to go there every one is so nice and helpful
This is a good place for all you ladies thats so I need belts vacuums sewing machines good variety to choose from young beautiful ladies helpful with any questions took my mother theyre very helpful nice and friendly place to visit for your sewing and vacuum machines
Everyone is always very helpful and friendly! Love going there and especially Sew Fun!
I enjoyed my class with Brenda today!! Great refresher for me on my sewing machine. Thank you!!!
What great service! Carol helped me with a bobbin problem. Turns out it was a rookie threading mistake. She explained it to me and I was out of there at no cost! Thanks a ton!
Everyone is very personable and very willing to help you on anything no matter how big or how small. If the person you are asking doesnt have the answer to a question you ask then they will get a person who may have more knowledge in that area. They try to get to know each client personally. Which I think is very nice.
The ladies at the Arvada store have always been very helpful! They all have a good working knowledge of the sewing machines, equipment, etc. that is sold in the store. I only wish there were a couple of other ladies working there. Sometimes I have to wait a little longer than I want especially since I dont live in the Denver area and only have a short time to do what I need to do when in town.
Great place to pick up supplies for my Bernina sewing machine. I have purchased embroidery patterns as well as feet and gadgets. The staff are kind, very helpful and knowledgeable. What they dont know they find out. I recently ordered an insert for my Horn quilters sewing table (which I bought there in 2009, still in great shape). Carol called them to check on the lift weight since I now have a bigger, newer machine, before I confirmed the order on the insert. I definitely recommend RMSV.
Liked this place! Excellent job
I have always had a great experience at RMSV. The folks are always super helpful. If they don’t know the answer to my questions, they find out the answer. They recommend products and services but are not pushy about it. I love going to sew fun and can’t wait to be able to attend in person again! Until recently, I only owned a standard sewing machine. They seemed to focuses about half the time on embroidery projects but do show a fun selection of quilts, bags and other projects not requiring an embroidery machine as well. Ordering items that are out of stock or run out during sew fun seem to take a long time to receive but at least I have that option. To date I have purchased, books, fabric, sewing notions, the Nelly Mop, a floor model Juki MO-50e serger and have order a my first embroidery machine. I have not had any issues with anything. They are local to me, and the fact that they can service my machine, if needed, is a plus. I am sure they are not the cheapest out there but I think they are an honest company with a modest mark to keep their business running and employees happy and paid.
I called in with an issue on an embroidery machine and the helpful staff welcomed me to stop in to check out my machine for free! What company does that now-a-days? They were super helpful, fixed our problem, and to top it off they had an amazing selection of supplies. I would highly recommend this business. They certainly have me as a customer for life. Thanks again for saving the day!
5 stars! I was having a problem with my machine and I took it in for repairs....accompanying m e were my two young children. The people working at the store were soooo helpful (and super sweet to my kids). The manager looked at my machine with me for close to a half hour and helped me resolve my issue. She then told me there was no charge fo the service that she is just glad to know I will be back sewing. I am definitely going here for all my sewing needs in the future. (Just wish they sold fabric too). I am also hoping to take a sewing class here. I took one 5 years ago but I havent made the time to go back and take another.
I have been purchasing sewing machines from this store for many years going back to 1996. I get very good service for repairs and yearly maintenance. Their technician makes my machines run like new. I have also purchased 2 vacuums. Love the ladies who work the front. My go-to place for Bernina and Pfaff and Juki.
The staff knows a lot about the machines and is very helpful, especially Rosemary.Very pleasant experience. I would recommend this store.
I looked for a long time to find a good sewing machine place. This one fits the bill! Great customer service, classes that help me understand my new machine, and lots of fun sewing classes!
I entered this store on a friends recommendation hoping to find my partner in creativity - a new serger. I was intercepted and treated very unprofessionally. I couldnt recommend this shop personally at all....Thank you for your kind response, proprietor. When I shared -- with said recommending friend -- that I had popped by your store, she was quick to interject: I hope [that certain salesperson] wasnt the one who helped you! All the best managing your store.
It’s amazing! The employees are very kind and helpful when I go in. I love the sewing classes there as well! Very fun!
I love this store! Owner, Rob Richards, values his customers and it shows. If you are in the market for a sewing, embroidery, or quilting machine, check this store out. I have found the prices to be very competitive.
Ongoing sales.... social distancing, but open. 10:00-5:00.
Its always a pleasure to interact with the staff at the Arvada Rocky Mountain Sewing and Vacuum store; Carol, Rosemary, and the other staff members provide wonderful customer service.
Everyone is so helpful and are more then willing to help me with any problem I may have.
I brought my cheapo Singer machine in because it was jamming. Turns out I was just threading it wrong plus a couple of slightly loose parts and too thick of thread for the machine (whoops). A very nice lady tightened things up for me and gave me a quick lesson. I felt a little foolish for my amateur mistakes but appreciated the effort she took to help me.
Needed a new machine as my moms 1952 was about used up. Great help from Brenda in picking out my new Pfaff. Loving it!!👍😃And I strongly advise going to a suport class for your brand of machine. 👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Friendly people to serve you. Great place to get the supplies that fit my machine. Just a great store.
Nice people, great service
Great experience every time I go in to the store. Experienced sales staff and always very friendly.
Ironically, prior to calling this store, I looked at the reviews... Rhonda, whom another reviewer had criticised, answered the phone and could not have been more pleasant and helpful! I am posting this to counter Tiffanys reaction, and give credit where it is due!
I called the shop this morning inquiring about a specific foot for a Janome sewing machine. I spoke with a woman named Rhonda who was super unpleasant and sounded annoyed with my basic question. Very belittling attitude, like I was putting her out somehow. I found another local Janome dealer who was kind and happy to help me. I wont be reaching out to this store again.
What do you do with an embroidery machine when you dont know how to use it? Take it out of the box, scan through the manual, and put it in the closet? Or you can do what I did, go to Rocky Mountain Sewing classes to learn how to use it. I purchase my Brother embroidery machine and knew nothing about sewing in hoops, I had never heard of stabilizer or pre-wound bobbins. What is a stipple? A jump-stitch? Duh? You should see me now!I thank the ladies at the Arvada store for all of their guidance and wonderful classes that have made me love this hobby. I am one those customers who calls often with questions, They have the best customer service and always seem eager and happy to help me. I highly recommend this store and will continue to be one of their regular pests. Bobbie from Byers
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Love this place.
I took the beginning Brother class. It was very informative and the instructor was easy to understand. I’ll go back again.
Always a pleasure to work with the fine ladies at the Arvada store.
The class was fine, but when I mentioned I was having difficulty hearing, I was told it would be addressed once the class started, but it never was. I also knew most of the material, but I still had fun.
Everyone is always friendly, helpful and fun! Its more than a store, the are all friends!!
Wonderful service, they helped me pick out the perfect new sewing machine. They have a wide selection, from beginner machines to master level!
Great and quick service on a repair for my Bernina machine. Thanks
Unlike in the past, they no longer give one-on-one lessons with the purchase of an expensive new machine.
Large selection. I wish their service was better so that I could’ve been a patron their establishment.
Always great customer service at the Arvada store
These ladies are lovely and helpful and knowledgeable.
LOVE all the staff here! Very helpful and full of information.
I LOVE these people, especially Jeff {I hope this is the right store, there are 3} just when I thought honest, trustworthy, good people with WONDERFUL customer service was a thing of the past I had the pleasure of buying from Jeff online,I wish I had a place like this near me or even within 100 miles from me BC I would drive that far to have this experience when I purchase something thats hundreds of dollars.I will never buy from anyone else after my experience compared with that of 10FROMMETOYOU {shitty ebay seller} to ROCK MOUNTAIN SEWING,You can trust these people, buying from them online is probably just as good as if you were to have walked into their store I know I have never felt better about an online purchase or received a better product wo walking into a store, This is the only company that I can truly shop online with confidence, so much so that I will be sending my old Bernina 180 across the country for them to service{Im in Ohio}Thank you Jeff for the very best customer service I have experienced in my 40 years on this earth.Sueellen
