I drive by this place pretty often and finally decided to stop in. Despite it being my first time here, I felt welcomed like I was a regular. Everyone on the team is helpful and enthusiastic, with delicious treats and coffees to match. And while I do enjoy a beautifully crafted latte every once in a while, Im actually more of a tea drinker, and was delighted to see the loose leaf tea selection! Another unexpected bonus is meeting Chai, the coffee house dog, a small friend to all. I got the cinnamon roll latte and their made-from-scratch pumpkin turnovers, and both were incredible. Ill definitely be back!
One of the best cafes Ive been to!! We ordered a raspberry carmela latte, caramel macchiato, raspberry cheese sandwich. Everything was delicious. If you like the raspberry flavor, raspberry carmela latte is a must try! Since there was nothing eggless/meatless on the menu which was savory, I requested the lady to make me a pesto cheese sandwich and it was absolutely delicious! The sandwiches are made on a sourdough bread which is so fresh and tasty, and the pesto itself was to die for! If I ever come to boulder again, will stop by for sure!
First time in today, decided to check it out for a birthday cappucino after seeing all the fantastic reviews. Was not disappointed in the least! Their quiche slices are delectable! Bagels were tasty and well baked as well. The coffee was delicious and just the boost I needed to keep going through my busy day.The service was friendly, the staff seem to be genuinely wonderful people who make you feel welcome in their cozy coffee house.I will definitely be back!
My boyfriend and I went here to get out of the house and do a working lunch. This place rocks. It is cozy, and a perfect ambiance for productivity. The tables are large and the chairs are comfy (unlike Starbucks). The coffee is great, and I had the raspberry grilled cheese--amazing! The owner Judy made my food herself and brought it out to us. I think this will be our regular spot.
Carly, the waitress was phenomenal and friendly and super helpful. The food was amazing; I had a breakfast burrito and chocolate chip pumpkin bread. I also was lucky enough to meet the owner, Judy, who was so lovely as well! 10/10 recommend and will return to this lovely little cafe. Great to sit and “WFH”!
So sad :( i ordered grub hub super excited to try this place but my coffee was literally the most bland gross thing i’ve ever had. i mean look at the picture, no frappe i’ve had has ever looked like this. can’t even drink half. i also ordered a veggie burrito and even said that in the comments but they gave me bacon. i’m vegetarian so that was un eatable. i thought that zoe’s would make my bad day better but in fact, it made it worse.
You know those places where you fall in love the moment you open the door the first time?Zoes makes their own syrups, they have house-baked snacks, and they make REALLY good drinks. With all that, they still take the time to be patient, friendly, and kind. I have never felt remotely unwelcome here. Its like youre visiting friends every time you come. While their coffee menu is fantastic, their whole menu deserves a good look. They have a MAGICAL apple chai that will give your coffee hankering a run for its money. They also have seasonal menus, which included a gingerbread latte that came with actual gingerbread cookies for Christmas. I really just dont know what more you could ask for.Every time I walk in, I order something different. Every time I drive away, Im planning my next visit. Ive never been anything but thrilled with my order. When youre looking to shop local, this is the kind of place where you dont have to put effort into it. You just get to be spoiled and feel guilt-free about it.
Wow, what a great find! Friendly and helpful staff, very calm vibe. Stopped by on a Wednesday morning and ordered one of their loose leaf teas and the most delicious blueberry cheesecake coffee cake. This will be one of my regular spots to work at for sure!
Delicious coffee and pastries. A great place to spend the mornings. The owners and staff are wonderful people!
Super cozy little coffee shop, that is staffed by a couple of really friendly, down to earth ladies, and which serves delicious brews and the best damn coffee cakes I’ve ever had. 5 stars, will frequent.
The coffee and food here is fantastic, the people are friendly and welcoming. I will be back again!
I forgot how much I love local coffee shops! Not only does Zoes have amazing coffee and food, but the atmosphere is wonderful. Need a nice place to work? A place to catch up with an old friend? Go to Zoes Coffee! Between the adorable Italian theme, the mini library, and the gelato, theres no better place to hang out. And the owners, absolute gems! Judy told us the story of their business, named after their granddaughter, and showed us a bunch of hidden gems. Its not just a coffee shop either, Zoes has Clays Cupcakes and they have custom cakes to order.Zoes you found your newest loyal customer!
Phenomenal coffee and summer refreshments held in a very quaint and welcoming atmosphere, full of conversation, local art, and good books. Not to mention this is where you’ll meet their adorable mascot Chai the puppy! Truly a local gem which is why I make it my morning stop everyday.
Excellent experience as always! The food is great and personal service is a great way to start the day.
Placed an order online for delivery for lunch during a busy day. After over an hour without any order confirmation or update, I called the store to check on my order and was told that Zoes doesnt do delivery, and the online ordering system wasnt supposed to be enabled. Never did get lunch that day. I was told that the owner would call me back to make things right. Its been several days now and Ive received no call and still havent gotten my money back. Maybe the in-store experience is better, but I sure wouldnt recommend ordering anything online here. *Edit:* As to how I would like it handled? It seems like giving me a call as was promised would be a good place to start. Ive also got to say that platitudes like this is not how we operate arent very useful when this is, in fact, the experience Ive had with you. It might not be what you intend, but its what happened.
The best coffee I’ve had! Cutest vibe. LoveThis place!
So happy we discovered this place! Everyone is so nice and everything is absolutely delicious! Plus I love the cozy coffee house feel! We will definitely make this a regular spot! Highly recommend!
A delightful little place. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Not too busy (during the day on a weekday). The staff members were personable and the service was quick. And they have a little dog!
As always, lunch was awesome!!! Judy always makes you feel most welcome.Everyone should try it!
Great atmosphere and staff. Wonderful way to start the morning. I look forward to adding this to my routine. Much better than the chain coffee joints.
Always so friendly and its such a joy to see Chai hanging out and keeping everyone in line. Good coffee, and even better people!
Such a wonderful atmosphere! The owners are very personable, their dog Chai is adorable ! The place is so clean and the food & Coffee is AMAZING!! Literally the best coffee my boyfriend and I ever had. It’s so lovely to have found a family owned cafe that’s TOP quality . 1000000% recommend this place ! Will be coming back as well as having all my family and friends come (: !!
Cute place but they dont know how to make a capuccino.nice pastry.**Ill emphasize dry next time Im in, cause I did like the place.
SO disappointed with the quality of chai. Last time I was there, I requested hot - cold chai was put in the cup and warm milk was added. It was luke warm at best. This time I got all milk - hardly tastes like chai. $10 for two glasses of milk. I guess Ill go somewhere else next time.
Excellent excellent place. Is being run by an older couple who seem a little inexperienced in customer service, but have such an inviting and comfortable place to get a cup of coffee and relax. Would definitely consider this unassuming place the best coffee shop in Westminster.
Sweet coffee shop. Great coffee! Try the Galaxy if you like lots of sugar and smooth coffee. Also have a great collection of used books, lotions, foods, etc. Feels very welcoming. Definitely a place worth supporting during this pandemic!
Editing because I have gone here more frequently and wanted to add some more details!Great coffee, great service and lovely atmosphere. The owners are seriously the sweetest people. I go here almost weekly and they always are so friendly. The owners and employees alike take care of everyone that comes in.
A great, cozy and affordable coffee shop that is not a chain! A must go for coffee, tea, delicious desserts and lunch. Meet the owners, hear the story of why this place is named Zoes. 10 out of 10, this is our meeting place ❤
Stopped in this morning for a baked good and one of the owners, Judy, had just taken fresh baked gluten free poppy seed muffins out of the oven and asked if I would wait for a moment while she iced it for me. It was super tasty; crunchy on the outside and soft and still warm on the inside. I meant for it to be a snack while I worked in my office, but I had eaten half of it before heading out the door, and almost went back in for another. I also got a nice hot tea with warmed almond milk that was made just perfectly.Judy was very kind and I look forward to returning for some of her other fresh baked treats!I have been there before for coffee with a friend, but today was just over the top with exceptional customer service and a super delicious treat. Thanks so much!
I do not recommend this place at all. Awful food and awful management. Go to Starbucks
My last time here I was charged for an extra tea and sold a food item that was already sold out. When I presented these problems to the employee, they denied over charging me and told me the food I ordered was all sold to the customer in front of me… after I had already paid for it…idk.
I just went here for the first time and I am completely blown away. Right away I was greeted by the owners who told me the amazing story of their family owned and operated shop. As if the people and place weren’t great enough, I had the best turkey pesto sandwich of my life. Would definitely recommend!
This small business is amazing!! Not only are they a family owned business, but they make delicious food and coffee! The first time I went I got a cute hand written thank you card along with a great breakfast. Could not recommend this place more
I absolutely love this place. I moved to the neighborhood last summer from Denver to get a more small town feel and Zoe’s definitely has made this move worth it!! DELICIOUS breakfast sandwiches (I’m a New Yorker and it’s hard to find good ones out here), and delicious espresso drinks. I’m obsessed with their Tuscan Mocha. Pastries can’t be beat. I have friends that want to come up and hang out from Denver just to get Zoe’s the next morning with me. Everyone is so friendly.
This is a nice little coffee shop. The owners were super nice and even put on a dog show for us. Definitely recommend this place.
We had a lovely experience while at Zoe’s while visiting Colorado! It’s a local hidden gem! The couple who owns the coffee shop are some of the kindest people We’ve ever met! Lots of love goes into their drinks! Their quiche is out of this world amazing! They treat all their customers like family!
This place is fantastic. Phenomenal service, delicious food and coffee, and a great environment to get work done in. 10 out of 10 recommend
Always a pleasure I know the owners are very friendly Services good open up the door and their coffee is delicious
Terrific family owned coffee shop with great drinks and treats.
This visit was very disappointing compared to prior visits. My strawberry banana smoothie tasted like banana Laffy taffy and clearly wasnt made with fresh fruit. The coffee my boyfriend got tasted burnt and reminiscent of starbucks coffee. Lastly, though my scone was the highlight of my purchase, it was extremely sweet and tasted like imitation almond extract. I was a big fan of this place but it seems like they are taking some fairly disgusting shortcuts with their food and drinks now.
Fantastic coffee, great atmosphere, very friendly.
Family owned business that is a treat to visit. I dont know that we go because the coffee is exemplary, but more because it has a home-town feel to it. The owner is frequently there, and sometimes brings in her dog which is immortalized in art all around the building. In COVID times, they are strictly following CDC guidelines. There is a small, roped off area just inside to order, then you can wait outside and they will deliver it to you.
My husband met some people from work here and came home raving about a thing called a honey bear. Told me I had to go here. So happy to be able to support a local business and enjoy amazing coffee at the same time. The whole feel of this place made me so happy. Seeing a couple work together through a lunch rush, and knowing the teamwork that has had to be put into this place, will continuously bring me back. THE COFFEE IS AMAZING!
Great prices for coffee and homemade pastries. As someone who goes to hip/expensive coffee shops in LoDo and Cap Hill, this place is a GEM! Super friendly staff, everything was ready in a timely manner and there’s a very cute puppy as a cherry-on-top! Definitely new go-to spot for morning studying!
Love this coffee shop! And the food is delicious as well.
Acceptable coffee, otherwise highly not recommended for anything
Amazing breakfast croissant sandwich, great coffee (I just got a skim latte) and great customer service. The baristas seem happy to work here. One came around after I finished eating to grab my plate and ask if I wanted a glass of water.Tables are also big enough to spread out with a bunch of schoolwork, which is a plus.
We tried this little coffee shop and the service and food was incredible! They were so kind and sweet. The food and coffee was delicious! Definitely be back soon.
Such a wonderful, family owned coffee shop! We had the americano, holy cow, and turkey pesto sandwiches, and they were all delicious and well made. Everyone at the coffee shop is incredibly nice and welcoming. Id highly recommend this coffee shop to everyone!
I wanted to start supporting a locally-owned coffee shop, and Zoes just happened to be down the street from my house. Im so lucky I found them! The coffee is strong, the pumpkin chocolate chip bread is AMAZING, and they make *in-house* caramel. But most of all, the service is incredible. The people here are always ridiculously nice. During the stay-at-home order I went in to get a pastry and it came with a hand-written thank you note! The personal touches really make it feel like a community. I always look forward to coming here.
This was my first time visiting Zoes and I had a wonderful experience. With it being my first time I asked the girl at the counter what she recommended and she suggested the Honey Bear. This drink was amazing; perfect amount of sweet from the honey and little bit of cinnamon spice. I live pretty far from Zoes but if I was ever in the area again Im defiantly stopping by to get myself a honey bear.
Stop wondering and just go here. The place is just chill. The vibe will definitely keep you in that state of mind. No pretensions, they have a nice staff, very great food (I myself had both the iced and hot black tea, a biscotti, a dark chocolate cupcake, and a bacon burrito - all made in-house), fair prices (although for the service and food I wouldnt have minded paying more), comfy chairs, tables that are actually wide enough for food AND laptops, and a bathroom that is clean. No complaints. Oh and yeah, they are most definitely cool with you just laying back and doing your thing.
LOVE Zoes Coffee! Im here a couple times a week to work, and the service is fantastic. Cynthia and Rachel are always around to greet with a smile. Atmosphere is wonderful. So glad theyve also switched up the music a bit from jazz to good coffee house music blends. Adds to an already cool place! Keep up the good work. So nice to have a local spot to hang.
Firstly, the folks that run this place are wholesome and treat you more like a houseguest than a customer. And then there’s the coffee! I’ve had a lot of coffee in my day, and while I’ve had better, it was a narrow margin. This is certainly the best coffee in the area! If you love extracting the magical energy out of the humble coffee bean and distilling that into a beverage that warms your soul, than this is the place to be. Cheers to them!🏰🦊☕️
Really great sandwiches, quiche and sweets for a good price. A great cup of coffee, they even had Stevia for me. Sat outside. Sun and shade and covered patio available.Skip the chain coffee shop a go here.
Came here a few days ago and got a peach smoothie and bread. both were absolutely phenomenal. wonderful customer service and a really adorable dog. highly recommend!
Good coffee good food good people
Nice place, good owners to support 👍
Love and comfortable setting and good service
I just stopped by early today and it was my first time, my boyfriend and I felt so welcomed and at home. The staff had such big hearts and are just such caring AMAZING people! I will stop by again, they also make their own stuff and homemade Carmel That’s all natural and by far the best Carmel I’ve had. Thank you so much for your wonderful service and welcoming arms! WE WILL BE BACK❤️❤️❤️
Usually, I’m a black coffee drinker, but they have an iced coconut latte that I love! Not too sweet, strong coffee flavor. This is a great small, local business to support.
Best cup of coffee I have had in a long time. This place is great. Friendly folks that really care!
Cutest little coffee shop.😊
The staff was so warm and friendly and thanked me for coming in. It was a very personable atmosphere unlike other coffee shops which arent convenient to study at. I dont live in the neighborhood but Ill definitely be back.
I am leaving this review so hopefully this coffee shop can be improved. I am not trying to leave a nasty review or trying to criticize. The coffee tasted VERY BAD and the shop itself seems to have the same vibe as the retirement home my grandparents live at, in regards to the physical aesthetics and the feel of it. I think hiring a interior designer would go a long way. There was also an encounter between a rep from Sherpa Chai Tea that came in to ask for a testimonial of how their product was doing, being sold, at Zoes Coffee Shop and the older female lead was very rude to him and blatantly blew him off. I gave him a contact number for another coffee shop that sold Sherpa Chai products that would be more hospitable towards him.
Very nice family owned coffee shop! If youre lucky enough you will meet Chai, their familys dog and he will do a trick for you while your coffee is being prepared.
Great fall drinks! My favorite is the apple crisp latte. The drinks are delicious but not sugary. The food is great. I even enjoy a simple ham and eggs on a buttery croissant. But I enjoy all of the breakfast items as well.
Good coffee great service. We ordered a kids cookie it was hard, and the owners noticed we didnt eat it and quickly replaced it.
Great coffee and amazing in-house made scones! Awesome atmosphere and family hospitality.
Called to see if there open inside and have a time limit on sit down. the guy rudely told me they were open and wouldnt let me finish asking my question before hanging up.
Zoes has a lot of potential to improve, hopefully they listen and implement change.I came to Zoes with my husband today. I had an itialian soda with cherry and vanilla, which was tasty. I tried his latte with oat milk, and it was bitter and had a heavy aftertaste. The batista welcomed um immediately then told us, after standing by the door for a moment, where the menu was--on a laminated on plain paper taped on the clear divider. The display case could have been a little more presentable. Food looked homemade. The atmosphere, felt as if you were in an older persons home bathroom. Slow instrumental maybe jazz was playing. Many physical aspects were outdated, like tan tile & curtians not very aesthetic. There were random cartoon dogs with comment bubbles on the walls. They need to pick a theme. The woman who kept jumping up to help the barista at the register seemed to be/want hands on. A chai supplier representative came in to ask for a testimonial of how the chai is selling at their shop, and she got very annoyed of his existence and didnt want to hear what he was saying or make friendly conversation. Everyone heard this conversation in the shop. The bathroom smelled like dusty body odor.I probably wont be back unless I hear theyve changed everything. Again, Zoes has a lot of potential to improve, hopefully they listen and implement some change and improvement.
Great service, wonderful people and good food and drinks!
Zoe’s Coffee ☕️ ...5 words- “A Home Away From Home 🏡.”I absolutely ♥️ love this place! Started going around a month and a half ago. I was immediately at comfort and relaxation. The warm and loving couple who own this cozy place -Judy and Vaughn are wonderful and inviting. You have to try the almond cookies and wonderfully house made goodies! If your in the need for a smile, personable service and a clean, beautifully decorated environment- this is your place;) ♥️
This is my new favorite spot. They have kind workers, a variety of snacks, nice comfy chairs, wooden tables, couches... and a great Sumatra. I even got a free birthday drink! Oh, the gluten free lemon cake is delicious. The vibe is really nice and quiet too. They are usually playing some sort of relaxing music. Starbucks sometimes has really loud base, and when Im trying to concentrate, its hard to be around. Check out Zoes!
I have to come back!
Everything is always fantastic. Chai is always my favorite part of coming in 💕
The coffee is fantastic, especially the creamy espresso. Pares wonderfully with a fluffy buttery croissant. Highly recommend!
I write this review sitting in Zoes, and they deserve every star. First (most important for some) is the coffee. It is delicious and reasonably priced, I also hear great things about the food and other beverages, Ill have to try them out next time! Next, the service is perfect. They (owners and staff) are so friendly and accommodating, which is what I look for in a small, local cafe. The premises are clean, comfortable, and perfect for meeting friends (or client) or just hanging out.
Good chi tea and your furry friend and join you.
I go to this coffee shop every morning. The staff are so nice and accommodating. The service and prices make it easy to show up with a smile. They know my drink order by heart. Cozy and friendly.
Great local place with a fun atmosphere. Although, I typically drink a standard brewed coffee, they have other offerings that would be on par with other larger chains. They also had some food options, which I didnt get a chance to taste. Fresh quiche and pastries are what I remember being offered in the glass case.Fun friendly and efficient service and a great location to have a face to face meeting with little background noise.
Just stepping through the door of this ma and pa coffee shop, you first notice the superb decor! The mural is breathtaking, and there are even pieces of art from independent artists that you can purchase! I find that to be so unique! The food options are wonderful and the owners cater to certain food restrictions (vegetarian, gluten free etc.) As for the drinks, there are TONS of really cool and well thought out options, it takes me a couple minutes just to decide on which one I want! You can really tell that everything about this coffee shop has taken a lot of hard work and effort to put all of these great ideas into one establishment! Definitely a place to visit!
Good coffee and service.
Judy and Vaughn (the owners) are always friendly and interested in you. Besides coffee, wonderful selection of treats including gluten—free. I have no problem with gluten but have had these and they are just as good as gluten-full! There are also sandwiches, burritos, quiche and a great atmosphere. Wonderful place to feel at home.
Great atmosphere, comfy seats, friendly staff, strong lattes.
Absolutely wonderful coffee and service, owners are delightful!
First time being here and I gotta say even though I dont drink coffee a lot, its the cutest little shop. And a delicious Italian sub and peanut butter cup! Im for sure gonna go back for more sandwiches and peanut butter cups!
The Honey Bear latte is delicious! Local honey and tasty cinnamon. I could have stayed for hours reading my book and drinking my coffee and not feeling the least bit rushed, or like I needed to leave. Plenty of seating for all. Thank you for a wonderful first visit! Looking forward to many more.
