If youre looking for a vietnamese dessert place, this is it. They specializes in Chè, one of the popular Vietnamese desserts. It comes with fruits, rice balls and all kinds of deliciousness. I usually get #5 or #10. My latest favorite is their Smash Avocado. Its so refreshing, and decadent and probably packed with thousands of calories. But hey! We can all treat ourselves once in a while. Go here on your chest day and youll thank me later.
The best Vietnamese coffee with coffee jelly. Sweet dessert and chè r a must try.Waffle is a highlight of the day.
If you have a sweet tooth, this place will bombard you with awesome desserts...just make sure that you will keep your sugar level under control
Great place for a variety of fruity slush drinks, boba, and, best of all, traditional Vietnamese chế desserts. Fresh tapioca gelatin puddings couples with coconut milk and grass jelly is the go to sweet and delicious summer Vietnamese dessert!
Plenty of seating inside and out. Do be careful and keep children away from the smoker. The dessert is average, but its not a bad option if Hien Khanh is closed.
I tried the Yogurt with combo fruits today. It was yummy and refreshing.
I got the honey dew and mango dazzle smoothie. They were very good. The mango dazzle was thicker because of the yogurt, which I think it was a very nice touch. I got 3 if the .macaroons they had in the front, very soft and not to sweet. Definitely will come again.
You cant go wrong with any of their desserts. My favorite is the Taro Lover #7
Decent vietnamese desserts but nowhere near in the best category. Prices were fair.
This Bambu Desserts is ideal meeting area of my reunion class, they have all kind Vietnamese chè sweet soup : mung bean, Red bean, with coconut, I couldnt name it. I recommend everyone should come to try it once. Great taste and affordable price!!!
Its over priced. Dessert is just okay.
Very good desert and coffee, not too sweet as other places
I just ordered here for my first time, i got #5 smashed avacado and substituted boba and condensed milk for grass jelly and coconut milk, also removed the dark brick also no sugar. It was excellent! I love the drink. This spot is doable for those who are on the borderline of a pre diabetic! These are vietnamese drink/desserts and its very good!
Food was good, beverages were excellent as well.
Its used to be good place for dessert.
Nice bvgs
Incredibly cozy Vietnamese dessert shop. I’m not an expert on Vietnamese desserts, so I don’t have any standards or expectations, but the dessert I got was very refreshing. We got the Bambu Combo which comes with a variety of jellys, beans, and coconut milk. It’s like getting a mix of “che” ingredients/boba toppings. It’s served in a cup though with a spoon; I’d imagine it’s kind of hard to sip everything through a straw! It was a nice dessert; no innovation or instagram gimmicks, just solid. The menu is so extensive, I’m not sure what I’d be trying next time, but it doesn’t seem like I can go wrong. Overall, pretty nice.
Good place to dine in for a cup of coffee ☕ or a cup of fruit mix drink. Additional to that, the customer service is very good, people are friendly too!. 👍💞😄
Had a great coconut mocha. Flavor was perfectly balanced so nothing overpowered; my love for coconut, chocolate, and coffee were all well fulfilled, and overall the taste was fresh, crisp, and satisfying.
Unique drinks for sure, open late which is great, and good options. They charge 50 cents to use a debit/credit card, regardless of how much your spend. Ive worked retail, 50 cents is a huge upcharge to what retailers get charged, so I wasnt cool about that. The coconut was delicious inside the drink, the lychee was ok, had one that had no flavour and one that was sweet
Drinks and Snacks ...many flavors to choose !
The waffle pretty gud
I love the smashed avocado with jelly and condensed milk. Its so tasty. I also love the bambu specialty with coconut milk and the black and red jelly. The service is fast and great
Goods environment…deserts 👍
The selections were nice, and the drinks were ok to good. #2 was only ok. Ba mau was slightly better. Avacado was good. Overall, nice and decent selection. I still prefer places such as Che My-Linh for desserts like che ba mau and che Thai.
Pandan waffles and nice spins on traditional Vietnamese desserts
The price was decent and the service was great
Limited parking spaces
Luv their drinks
A little pricey but really good
Refreshing
Most friendly service I have been to. Great variety and selections for all kinds of drinks and sweet. Coffee is great too.
Bambu is awesome. Best durian with avacado smoothie
Experience a great cup of coffee. Unique tasty and hot. First time experience. Just great combined with exceptional service
#6 is pretty good.I like that the dessert drinks are not overly sweet but still very tasty. #6 had 8 different types of topical fruits and jellies, then loaded with coconut milk, definitely my favorite, $3.75. The dessert drinks varies from $3.25-$4.50, all served with some icy slushes.
I dont really like many of the drinks or teas they have. They are very over priced.....crowded and not very friendly. Also 3 different times I have been shorted on the change Ive been given when I paid for something.
Unique tasty desserts. Will definitely go again
The chunky avocado (#5) drink is delicious.
Tried their Bambu Special and Che Trai Cay and really liked how fresh tasting they were. Liked the different fruits they used. Will definitely be back!
Be careful, ripped me off with my avocado shake. Packed everything tight and charged me for the shake, then lied to me about it being in the taped up bag and carrier. My bobo tea was only half filled, plus the woman server there was drinking the avocado shake that I had paid for. Dont go there if you do not want to be ripped off.
I love the desert here. The owner is very nice 😊
Good desserts, fast service.May need more chairs in the evening
A good service !
Classic vietnamese desserts! This place use to be the hype and had a line out the door but quality has definitely gone down. I usually get number 1 which is the coconut water, basil seed, and the chewy pandan but the price for these were getting expensive. They do take 5 star cards though. Overall it is refreshing but quality definitely needs to be better.
Good place to hang out for a sweet drink
Summary: What caught my attention was its unique name: BamBU. Came in around 6pm and I was third in line but once I place my order I notice the line had curve out to the entrance which makes me thankful I got here just in time.Ordered: I ordered Bo Dam (Smash avocado with boba and mix jelly). The avocado was fresh, the amount of sugar was just right, and the condense milk was a tad too much. I wish they couldve push the crush ice down for me as it was stack on top which makes the avocado on the bottom room temperature.Service: Friendly and courteous. Just wish the cashier didnt laugh at me when I mispronounce Bo Dam (To which I said BO Damn).Overall: The price was decent and the service was great. The only downside was the parking. Its small and cramp not to mention the majority of the driver either double park or slant their car which makes the space even more limited. As for the CASH ONLY, I dont mind so much. I mean, it is part of Little Saigon, so you should get use to the CASH ONLY sign by now.
Very good and refreshing fruity drinks. Not to heavy like boba drink and not to sweet like smoothie. Would come back again.
Good boba & milk tea place. Coffe is not bad either. A little crowded in small space, but otherwise nice.
Great coffee. Loved their Vietnamese ice-coffee. Cheaper than Starbucks or coffee bean.
Awesome stuff👍😎👍
Best boba tea place around. Everything Ive had here is amazing, but be careful they get your order right.
O god the customer service here is horrible. They dont make the drinks the same way they do in SJ. I still cant believe how rude the girl was to me at the counter, I understand youre busy but I you shouldnt be rude and talk to me like Im stupid I went to the SJ locations all the time when I lived there.
Great Vietnamese desert drink. One of the best durian smoothie in OC.
Every franchise location makes these exotic fruit desserts so affordable - under four bucks a cup! Love that each drink has a flavor or mix that is uniquely Vietnamese.
Good che thap cam
Good deserts and drinks however very busy and difficult to find parking.
Good chè and big smile from cashiers.
Loved it! Refreshing and Unique. I like the pandan waffle.
Good che place. Nice coconut waffle
Best vietnamese dessert in cerritos che ba mau is familys favorite!
Nice desserts such as Che ba mau or smash avocado.
As good as the one in Irvine. Good dessert quick fix!
Good desert drinks. I like numer one and theee
Not all Bambu are created equal. The quality of drinks are below the norms of other Bambu chain. Ordered a lot of drinks and deserts, but not to the standards. The side seating area smells like urines. Its dirty around the tables with cigarette buds and trash.
Best Vietnamese Che dessert in OC!
Good food. Good service.
Good dessert in a cup. It is refreshing.
Love this place! Best coffee drinks and waffles.
Good cheap cofee, but the girls are kinda ugly to be frank
Pretty decent boba drinks and milk teas.
Terrible service. We ordered 5 #1 desserts and all 5 oder were missing keys ingredients. Very misleading from ad pictures shown on the wall. We brought it to their attention and they were rude about it.
Vietnamese desert shop. Friendly staff. Quick service.
Its an okay sweet drinks place.
The Che is terrible. Service is not much better. Went to this place for the first time today. Although the menu lists their drinks as Che, the Vietnamese tranditional sweet desserts. It tasted nothing like Che. They charged $3.50 for a what they called Che, but it is nothing with a few beans and some green jello and over-flow ground ice. My Che was so freaking dry, I went back and asked them for some sugary juice, explaining to the cashier and the girl who made my Che that my dessert was so dry, it has nothing but ice in it, making it impossible to mix and eat. The kitchen girl rudely responded No!. So, I asked her why not, to which she tersely said Its 50 cents to add some juice. Ive eaten Che all my life, and if a particular Che is served with ice it has always been made with sugary sweet liquid. This place doesnt know how to make Che. Not only the workers are rude and condescending. I will never come back here for Che. Thats for sure. Ill go to Che Hien Khanh. Or, any Che at any boba drink place is still better than the Che here at Bambu.
I love all kinds of dessert here!
Really good Vietnamese iced coffee!
Try it you will like more
I always get the bo dam (Avacado smash) when I come here.
Cheaper than Starbucks or coffee bean
Omg so good
Slow. The floor is dirty. The restroom is filthy.
Good place to hang out.
Busy, long wait. My avocado drink came in chunks. Was not feeling it here. Maybe next time.
Love the Vietnamese dessert here.
Love their desserts and waffles
Superb Vietnamese deserts.
Nice place to chill.
Fast service and yummy.
