My wife and I purchased over $11,000 of carpet from Carpet Exchange in April of 2018. We had been pleased with the purchase for some time. But eventually we noticed that at least 4 major seams, in most visible areas started to lift and create a ridge along the exact seams. The look of it became annoying, and we decided to notify Carpet Exchange about the problem, and we found out that they offer a lifetime warranty on installation and labor. Well, this is where the our negative review comes from. We first went to the store, and notified our salesman, Larry Noyes, that we had a problem with the seams. He assured us that they would look into this. After a month went by, we heard nothing. We called back and asked for the Manager, and Jason Homer seemed ready to try to help us. Jason had one of his professional installers come over to our house and inspect the problem. He seemed to be very expert, and examined the seams very closely. The installer definitely saw the problem and thought that the solution of re-seaming those seams might be worse after doing it. So, he said he would give Jason Homer his report on the problem. Next, Jason thought he should hire a professional inspector, Advanced Flooring Inspections, to come over to my house and do a professional inspection as per the manufacturers warranty. So agentleman came over to our house, Brad Oliver. Brad inspected the seams very closely, and seemed to agree that the seams did appear to be raised, and although he could not make any promises, Brad did seem to be sympathetic with our problem. He said his company would issue a report to Carpet Exchange. Eventually, Jason Homer, the store manager called and told us the next step would be to have a carpet cleaning company come over and try to steam the 4 or 5 raised seems, and hopefully that would take care of the problem. So the carpet cleaning company came over and the gentleman acknowledged that the seams were raised, and he would try his best. Well, after steaming only a couple of the seams, he stopped and admitted that it was not doing any good. He decided not to steam the rest of them upstairs. Now this is where Carpet Exchange, and especially Jason Homer really upset us. Jason called me after hearing from the carpet cleaning guy, and told me that there DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE ANY PROBLEM WITH OUR SEAMS and that Carpet Exchange will not do anything further, and there is no warranty issue in his opinion. If there wasnt any problem with our carpet seams, we would have NEVER complained in the first place. Jason Homer put us through enormous inconvenience, wasting our time, and allowing 3 different people into our home (during this Covid time) and then telling us that he sees no problem, and that Carpet Exchange will not help us with our lousy seams. Carpet Exchange does not support that LIFETIME WARRANTY ON INSTALLATION. Buyers be aware. We will tell everyone we know not to shop at Carpet Exchange.

Amazing experience with Carpet Exchange! A+I needed carpet and additional Coretec installed in my home during the quarantine. I was so glad to see they were still open and I could get my project done so I could list my home for sale. Jason really listened and was able to get our project completed on time and under budget. Watch out for being quoted wrong. We were quoted one price and then give a 20% higher price after measure because they “forgot” to include install price. We also picked a carpet specifically because it was in stock, only to be told that it was not in stock after the measurements. Lastly, I had to ask about filling the control joints in my basement prior to install. It was never mentioned to me by anyone from carpet exchange. The sales guy said yet but never confirmed what to use. Since some fill materials take 3 days to cure, i can only assume i chose the correct stuff since they never confirmed what material to use....Never recommend this place and I regret business here.

Ive worked with Larry at this Westminster location three different times. Ive been happy every time. Two times were for wood floors and one was for re-carpeting the entire home. The prices and selection were great. I browsed several other locations just to compare. The install and quotes were on time and as expected. If there were any issues, Larry was quick to help address those. For the professional installs, it was pretty hands off for me which I appreciated. Id highly recommend them. Great experience!

When I went to Carpet Exchange (Westminster, CO) I told them that I would be purchasing the carpet from a Carpets Plus store up in Steamboat Springs for a vacation home, but I just needed to look at some carpet samples. Dewayne, the manager, kindly identified all of the carpet samples we might look at (we wanted to purchase a 100% Triexta carpet). Then Ken Plum answered several of our questions and let us take samples home. I was so pleased at the great service despite knowing that they werent going to make a dime from us! When we need carpet for our home in this area I will be returning there!

Terrible follow up. Dewayne cancelled my estimate appointment 30 minutes prior to it via email. Someone else was supposed to call me to set something up. I had to call. They came out to do the estimate and said I would have it that day (sat) or Monday. I had to call later in the week to get it. Said they would follow up with a phone call...did not. I know this is a small job compared to probably most others you get, and boy did you make me feel that way. I guess my business is not wanted. I don’t want to have to beg to pay someone to do a job.

Selection and service in store were very good. Larry was our salesman. Our issue was follow up in an order for an area rug. We were given a date that came and went. We called in to follow up and when we got a response a day later, the carpet was on back order. Ok, fine, but why did we have to call to find this out? Then when the rug was supposed to be in, we had to call again. We were told it just arrived that day, but when I went to pick it up, the delivery slip showed it arrived the previous week.I would give a 1 for the follow up, but a 5 for initial service, this the overall 3, which I feel is generous.

Had a quick question, would have only took a minute or two but the doors were locked and I didnt see any noticable hours posted on the door. But it was 5:20 and I could clearly see customers inside. Not impressed with the licking doors before time, 10 mins made all the difference of where I wont be spending my money.

I recently purchased flooring from the Westminster location..after the measure which was done the next day. Carpet was available right away, install went smooth. Overall it was a great experience and we wont hesitate to recommend to friends and family!!!

*Update*Moving rating DOWN yo 1 star as if this experience could get worse... it sure has! They called to make things right by offering to return some of the install fee. Great, thank you! That was a month ago... Im on my 3rd call to this place looking for the refund, still havent gotten it. What a bunch of crooks!The WHOLE process was a mess. They couldnt figure out our measurements and decided to blame it on the measuring guy. That guy was the only one the whole time that seemed to know what he was doing. Im now waiting for the installers. I got a text at 8:30am they were on their way, its nearly 11 and they are still not here. I called the store to ask what is taking so long and they still have not called me back after saying they would call me. I feel like a fool for using these people.

My wife and I have recently used Carpet Exchange for both a carpet and tile job. Our carpet went very well but the tile job is why Im here posting a review of Carpet Exchange Westminster. BUYER BEWARE! I trusted my salesman Larry Noyes that he would get us a great installer. What a big mistake.Besides delays causing me to move other dates related to a remodel I ended up with some of the most lousy tile work. I could have done better myself, ON TIME! I have numerous tiles in my showers that actually cast shadows on the tiles below. The bad work is obvious and Larry and Carpet Exchange tell me they want to make it right, but sadly those are just words. Their products seem fine, but beware about their install and definitely dont pay them until they get everything right.

My husband and I purchased carpet for our upstairs, the product seems fine. We had them install the carpet and its got big air pockets!! I have called them and went down there to ask them to come fix it. All three times all I hear is Someone will call me to come and fix it. ... Its been over a month trying to get this fixed!!! We have to get carpet in our basement, and a fact is we WILL NOT be using carpet exchange!!

The sales team was good but unfortunately you have to use their carpet installers. The team we had was below average. They did a bad job on the seams, a horrible job tucking the carpet in around the base boards and didnt clean up their mess in the house, garage and driveway. I would not recommend using Carpet Exchange. The installers made this a bad experience.

We went to the store on 100th and wads. The sales guy, I think his name was Ken was a joke. Clearly commission based which is ok but he was blatantly rude about how much we wanted to spend. after getting the typical car salesman treatment. I asked for a printed quote and he refused to give me one. Scribbled #s on the back of a business card and said he wouldnt print a quote because we would just go comparison shop. Go to Lowes or The Depot before you go to this specific store.
