Mr. Wah performed some amazing alterations to a beautiful (but oversized) 3-piece tweed suit. I was worried Id have to give it away or resell it, but thanks to him it fits like a customized dream, and is now the finest addition to my wardrobe. Attention to detail and friendly service, all for a great price. I will definitely be utilizing this tailor again.

Normally I dont write reviews but I was very unhappy with the customer service here. I gave my coat to Avenue tailors for an alteration estimate. They never got back to me. After two weeks of my texts and phone calls not being returned, I went to get my coat back. Then they told me they couldnt alter it in my budget, which I understand. What I dont understand is why they didnt just let me know that. I feel it was inconsiderate and unprofessional to not reply to a request for an estimate and just hold on to my coat for 2 weeks. Never going back.

Hemmed my daughters prom dress with only a week to do so during a very busy time for him and its absolutely perfect!!!

Yikes Im not sure how this shop stays in business. Very disorganized. I dropped off two pairs of shoes and the employee wrote down my information and told me it would be 2 weeks. 2 weeks later I call to check on the status of my shoes and they explain that they never had my information and lost my shoes. I described them and they told me it would be another week. I asked for a quote before they repaired the soles and it was over $40 for a basic sole repair. I asked for my shoes back and they said it would be another week. I finally pick up my shoes and the one pair is more damaged then when I first dropped it off.I will say the lady on the phone was apologetic and explained that the employee who initially wrote down my information was a temporary employee, but regardless I waited over 3 weeks to get my shoes back in worse condition than I when I dropped them off.

My pants came back perfectly hemmed. You would never even know they were altered!

Will never go there again. I needed a suit dry cleaned for Sunday, they say it will be ready on Saturday at 5:00pm. They close at 4:00 pm. There are no hours posted on the door. Dont go by the lying receipt. Their word means nothing

I work at the Center for Breast Health in Westminster, MD and we have been quite busy lately. Normally our pick up/delivery is on Thursday, but we were completely out of gowns as of Tuesday. I called and spoke with someone and she was very helpful and friendly stating we would have our gowns by this afternoon or first thing in the morning. Thank you!!

Worked with my schedule to get my brides maid dress done in time!

I had an extremely important meeting suddenly come up and needed my suit cleaned for the next day. When i took my suit in i was assured that it would be no problem for them to clean it and for me to pick it up first thing the following morning. Arrived at shop to pick up my suit. No one was at the counter. I shouted for someone but no response. I called and told the woman who answered that i was at the front counter. When she showed up, she unapologetically told me that my suit had not been cleaned. She said i could come back tomorrow. I told her my meeting was in 1 hour. She said there was nothing she could do.

We had a semi formal gown that needed to be altered. The end result was horrible. We had two fitting and said the same thing at each one but he did not put the straps on the way he said he would. He put the clips in the front and the stitching was coming out. The hem was messed up. The under lining was too short and she was still tripping on the hem. The dress was nearly ruined and now it is going to cost me double to take it somewhere else to fix.
