This is a awesome store. Its so nice to be able to walk in and be able to look at books. The only down fall is they are used (thats not a problem) so they might not have the full series of the book you are reading. They have used books,mangas,comic, and dvds. They even have some collectibles there too. I know they buy your old books but i never tried that out.

Great place! If you like anime, 90s toys, new toys and tech. Import Japanese games as well as older stuff. Movies for days as well as books and comics. You’ll leave buying something every time you visit.

Get way to crowded at times. Way to crowded on the weekends cant even walk around sometimes. Lots of selections. I usually go check out the electronics and action good selection.

Very unique selection and I love stores like this for the prices and the buy and sell dynamic. My only critique is that movie and CD titles are not in strict alphabetical order so it can be tricky to find certain items. For example, I noticed the GooGoo Dolls filed under D? Phil Collins filed simultaneously under P and C? The organization of products like that needs some work.

This is my go to book off! Its a decent size, I always love coming here. The staff is always friendly and on a good day, is nice and not too crowded.

Great selection of media and used products for a reasonable price. Lots of gaming consoles coming in and out of this store, older generation and newer.

Bought a GBA game here and it turned out to be a poor cheap reproduction. The game freezes and unplayable. If you do buy retro games here, please check the internals before paying. Seems like they don’t audit or check the game’s authenticity when they buy from people and put it on the floor. I would even go as far as bringing your own gameboy to test.

Pretty big inside. They have a huge quantity of items and will be finding almost any title or anime character in there. We only went there browsing but there is lots to look at.

Best used media store I know of in OC. Lots of great stuff, can get some things cheaper online and vice versa. Staff are great, never had an issue with any CDs or DVDs I have purchased here. Customers can be interesting/smelly, always just the guys though. Definitely will return in future. Parking, entrance, aisles, and counter are all accessible.Located inside the mall, so can be an issue to get here and park at times, plan accordingly.

The bag section has too much stuffed in that area you can not look at the stuff without stuff falling. The video section doesnt offer much, and high priced. The $1.00 book section is to small. It used to be a whole lane. 4 stars for there customer service.

2nd hand items. Cant beat the price. They got books, CDs, vinyl, animated stuff, music instruments.

Lots of books! Came here for used childrens books and the store employees were very helpful. Told us the sections, the 99 cent area etc. They have a huge variety. Pretty fun to be able to pick some useful learning books for toddlers and not just picture books.

A nice little gem hidden in the Westminster mall. A great place to pick up quality used DVDs and Blu-rays to complete your collection. And because they buy and sell from their customers their inventory changes daily. The stuff is courteous and knowledgeable!

Great store and kind employees. Had to return a product that didn’t work on my console, even though it was working on theirs and they still allowed a return. Thank you.

The book off west minister is very clean, and has very friendly staff.

Overall, great store and great selection of books and DVDs. Most items ( maybe with the exception of electronics) are at a good price and in good condition. They have a great variety in the clearance items with many items for just $1. For the books, I wouldnt recommend this place if you were looking for a very specific book as it can be fairly difficult to find but rather if you are just perusing or looking for books within genres.

Great place to find inexpensive books, movies, games, technology. You can also sell books, movies, technology you don’t want anymore. Good place to get children’s books and not spend too much money.

Since theyve opened, they have been one of my favorite stores to go to. I almost always end up spending more than I want on movies and books. The only downside is over the years theyve lessened the amount they pay you for selling things to them. You may get like $0.10 for a dvd and not much more for a book.

Best place to find treasures from classic movies to bestseller books. Items are in good to almost new condition and sold at reasonable prices. If you see something you like best to buy now that later for you might not find it later on!

The workers in there, are no help to the disables or elder. They was very rude to this elder lady and didnt want to help her and rushed her out the store. She didnt yell or anything, she didnt even get mad. I was more mad at them then she was.

Weve probably been to about four or five Bookoff locations but this one is by far the best due simply to its size and selection. There is a huge selection of video games, DVDs, books, and records. There is also a discount DVD and book row just filled with deals. Ive been here many times and if you have $20 to spend you are going to feel like a king. There are some manga magazines and figurines here, but I think the Torrance location would be a better bet for manga books. Its also conveniently located on the east side of the Westminster Mall so you can park right next to the store and avoid the whole mall situation if you are so inclined.

Amazing selection of manga

Decent inventory of books, movies, electronics, collectibles etc.Dont expect to get paid much for bringing in books, CDs and many other items to sell back.Staff was pretty useless or good at acting useless.I expected a better overall experience but it wasnt as bad as going to jail or anything like that at least.

There are some rare albums

They have a good selection but the problem is that it is expensive. A used bluray of Onward sells for $26.99. Yeah hope they actually look and reduce there prices.

Tried to sell my Samsung Note 10+ they offered me $250.00 for it. I just sold it on Decluttr for $518.00, I understand that they need to pay bills and they need to make a profit. However, $250.00 for a phone that currently retails for $1100.00 is pure theft. For those wondering why I would take $518, its because unfortunately Android phones depreciate much quicker than iPhones. So around 50% of the purchase price after 4 months of release is pretty normal.Update: I decided to just put the phone on Offer up and ended up selling it for $650.P.S The phone was in perfect condition, Its always been in a case with screen protector and only 3 months old
