Its definitely one of the biggest hobby shops I ever been to, (staff told me 3rd biggest in the USA) lots of stock, friendly staff.I am from out of state, I wish they would ship if bought in the store, but unfortunately Ill have to order it from the web.Definitely a great hobby shop!!

I am a nitro burner and anytime I have weird questions or need supplies someone here can always help me. Their stock of things that break a lot is deep and wide, both replacements for factory parts and upgrades. Its a good idea to check online to see if they have what you need in store which is a very handy and easy to use feature, then make a list with part numbers you need before coming in. That makes everyones life easier, they can help you quickly and thoroughly and you dont have to walk out deflated because theyre out of what you need. Theyre happy to make recommendations, but wont pressure you into buying things you dont need and are even happier to teach you anything you need to know. Theres one guy that works here that doesnt try very hard to find parts, but go find Justin the manager or one of the young dudes behind the RC counter and theyll take good care of you. I love going to visit these knowledgeable, friendly and esteemed gentlemen.

Great prices on model kits and tools. If youre into Gunpla and other Japanese model kits, they have a wider selection than most other places Ive been to in the Denver area. Very supportive of the model kit community as well. Definitely check this store out when you get the chance!

This place is the absolute best place for any of your needs.. Josh was amazing at explaining everything and he really listened to what I wanted. He also started off with a really affordable option before I even mentioned a price range which made me feel like he wasnt just trying to sell me the most exorbitant option because I didnt what they should cost me. He answered all of my questions throughly and he didnt make me feel dumb for asking. He made me feel like he enjoyed teaching me and would be there for me if I had any other questions. The place is full of fun items. Something for all ages. Customer service is always great. Everyone is very helpful. Prices are just right. So much better to buy from here and if you have any issues or questions, you can always stop by. They are very helpful in figuring out your issues and helping you understand your new hobby.

Hobby Town has been around Arvada/Westminster for a very long time. I rode my bike there as a boy to get the best RC cars and now take my boys to a bigger better Hobby Town for more parts and events. Most of the staff are loyal hobbiests who come by knowledge honestly. Great place!

I couldnt believe how many Gunpla kits there was too chose from, or the fact that they were very affordable. Picked up a perfect grade for about $120! Theres something for everyone here including Gunpla,Trains,RC cars and boats,Star Wars,Warhammer....... If youre finding yourself with nothing to due during the pandemic you should give this place a visit....because you know what they say about Idol Hands.

Justin and his crew are some of the most knowledgeable guys in the business. Justin the owner is someone who will take care of your needs and problems. I wont shop anywhere else for my RC needs.

Great place. They have pretty much everything. High quality airbrushes, every paint brand you can think of, all the miniatures and models, everything.

This location has been around for years and Ive always liked shopping there. Recently, they have significantly increased their miniature paints selection, carrying many brands I thought were simply unavailable locally. I definitely recommend them for a visit!

Huge selection but staff seemed to wanna rush me out the door. Didnt listen to what I needed and kept trying to sell me the wrong product. Recently upgraded to a Maxx and needed a 4s well I have other Traxxas products and didnt realize I also needed a 4s compatible charger. Did they mention that? No they didnt. So had to spend even more to buy the charger instead of asking me simple questions and selling me the combo. Will not return to this location. Some advice... Go to the south Wadsworth location. Best in service by far. Wish this location would take notes.

Such a huge selection! Very likely to have what your looking for. Start your new hobby here. My only complaint is location. A decent distance away from most residential areas, but worth the drive.

HobbyTown is a nice hugh section of dyi models, from RC style remote control vehicles,planes, model rockrts, hobby suppies, paints, bushes, tools, lots of books about planes,tanks, soldiers, weapons of wars, model trains and tracks, and parts and tools to build your own hobbies. Very helpful and friends workers to help answer questions or help find anything in their store.

Went in looking for a Maxx but didn’t know all I’d need. Jacob helped me and made the buying experience awesome! I wanted to also get extra parts that commonly break so I don’t have to come back OR stop the fun. Though he showed me all of the extras for the truck, he let me know what I should get and what would not be necessary but fun to get like the LED lights. I’ve wanted one of these for years and am so excited to enjoy it. Thanks Jacob!

We went to the Westminster location looking for a specific board game, which they did not have in stock. In fact, they have a very small selection of board games, and seem to be primarily focused on remote control vehicles and models. When We asked for help, the person that assisted was not very helpful and only pointed us to the small area that had the board games.

Horrible customer service. Not sure if u need to know someone,or be a certain type of person. Was standing waiting for about 15 minutes the first time asked for help was ignored twice. This particular hobbytown has become our favorite place to get tabletop miniatures, models, basing supplies, and paint supplies. Their staff is helpful & knowledgeable, but not in the way. I just want everyone that follows me or that sees this review to know Brian Lauer the store manager is one of the most informative and helpful people Ive ever come across. I cant tell you how greatly appreciated you are sir. My husband and I felt like we were family instead of customers. I just started this new hobby with the R/C cars and I purchased a kraton 6S from hobbytown USA in wesminster. And thanks to Brain L, Im feeling comfortable to get this awesome car going and charged up. Again thank you Brain and not only will my husband and I be back but my whole family and friends will be coming here for now on because outstand customer service is hard to find and everyone I came across here at this store was so nice and welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend this place for all of your hobby needs. Its also a really cool place to check out. There is alot of stuff here. Good stuff.

Great place to go for minis and paint supplies.

Make sure to ask them if the battery charger you buy can charge dead batteries. Apparently, my battery charger doesnt charge dead batteries and I had to buy a more expensive one. Its been a Super weird experience, they should at least tell customers to not let a battery go dead if they are going to sell such a poor battery charger that cant charge your freaking battery that has sat around for a few weeks. You need to research and have product knowledge before coming in to this location, I have brought in a battery to show the size I need and 2 different times they have given me a bigger battery that does not fit my sons car.

Out of all the hobby stores in the metro Denver area this store is probably the biggest has the best selection and has some of the nicer people that work there and know the land of rcs pretty well and because of how rude some of the other stores can be online is much better but these guy do a pretty god job at pulling me into a store so I absolutely give the store all the stars or thumbs or whatever needs to be given nothing but positive

It should be noted that this review is of the Westminster location, and not the Longmont one. I say this because the Longmont location is more akin to a sadly fading circus. Dingy and mostly empty.The Westminster location however is brilliant. With an enormous supply of things ranging from desktop miniature rpg equipment to model cars and planes,and likely many thing in between. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable, and will ensure that for those of you who, like me, have more money than sense, can easily rid yourself of the burden of a heavy wallet.

I absolutely love this store it’s like my home they have everything you can imagine for a hobby shop they have 10/10 customer service and if you have a question you can always ask the people behind the counter because they have first hand experience for hobby stuff and they will even to small to medium repairs for you! I’ve come in many times wanting to get a part but realized later I don’t have the tools to do so and the guys helped me out and got it done in under 2 minutes! They even let me glue up my tire because I can’t afford glue myself..

Love this place. I go there for miniature kits and paints but theres so much there. RC cars, rockets, science kits. Great place for educational & fun gifts for kids. My daughter always finds something she ends up loving. The only downside is the difficulty of walking out with money still in your pocket.

These guys are great! Real class acts. They just take care of you always have a great word of advice or suggestion and are always willing to help new guys in the hobbies. I walked out of there once with a bunch of balsa wood, critical to my projects, and it was so windy the wind ripped half of my balsa wood right out of my hands! I walked back in, just to ask and not expecting any special treatment. The gentleman manager on duty replaced all of it, no questions asked. He didnt have to do that and thats the kind of small-town customer service we are missing in America. Do like the cool kids do: Shop at HobbyTown Westminster!

I am a big fan of this store. I honestly wish I lived a bit closer so I could come by more regularly than the other hobby towns near me. They have an amazing selection of tabletop wargaming miniatures and paints,w is mainly what I come to purchase. Some of my favorite Warhammer figures I have painted have been purchased from here and I am almost certain this place has the cheapest prices in regards to Games Workshop products that I have come across. Staff current and former are very knowledgeable whenever I need to ask a question. I have yet to ask a question that one of the staff do not know the answer to. I love this store, and hope to continue to do business with it, I do not think I could sing its praises enough.
