From purchasing in store (picking out our table and mixing and matching the chairs) the clerk was helpful and friendly. Today we had our table and chairs delivered and the delivery team was so quick and efficient. Will absolutely use them again. Can’t beat the price, quality and service!
Only order furniture from them if they have it in stock that day. The date they tell you for arrival is a lie. It’s a two week window that they just keep pushing back. I’ve been waiting over 1 month past the deadline for my couches to arrive, and was just told it may be another month (we are already a week past the SECOND deadline they gave me). They said they have 200 containers of Ashley furniture to unload before they can even start on the containers that hold my couches. And apparently it takes them months to unload all these containers?The furniture is only worth the price if you can actually get it.
We were supposed to have our couch delivered today, and I wouldn’t be posting this review if I was sitting comfortably on it. The delivery drivers showed up, told us the couch wouldn’t fit up the stairs, and left in under 2 minutes. They didn’t try, didn’t measure, didn’t even look at it for more than a split second. Just got back in their truck and left. It was confirmed later it would definitely fit, but it was a small loveseat regardless. There was no question about the fit, there was a question about those delivery drivers wanting to get off early.Here’s the pet that I’m fuming about though: when we called customer service, they pushed our delivery out a whole week. We planned for this, purchased early, had our delivery date when we needed it and set aside time and sat here waiting for them. It is completely and totally unacceptable that we will now have to live without any seating in our new home for a full week because those people couldn’t do our job and customer service won’t help us. I will never even consider working with this store ever again and I am furious that we made the decision to shop here in the first place.

My wife and I were in last night checking out some furniture for our new house and we worked with Ray Varkevisser and he was great! Super nice and very knowledgeable about the products. When shopping at this location I highly recommend asking for Ray, when we come back for round 2 of our furniture shopping we will ask for him again. I was looking for a sleeper sofa. Theyre wasnt anyone to help me for while and the sleeper sofas were scattered all over. Took me a while to find and try them all. I eventually found a nice sofa and nice lady to help me place the order and schedule delivery and the process was quite easy. They had plenty sofas at good prices and I noticed a lot of very nice paintings at very reasonable prices. I will definitely return to get a painting and maybe even a bed frame.
Tammy helped us at the store and Mario delivered our couch in perfect condition! He was actually ahead of the delivery window and gave me an hour heads up. Awesome service!
The service from the Wadsworth location was simply amazing. We had an issue with a dining room table that had some manufacturer flaws. We went to the warehouse on Saturday and selected a new style of table and new dining chairs. Received a full credit on the first table and chairs without any questions and our new table and chairs were delivered the following Monday morning. Thats less than 48 hrs.Great variety. Great prices. Amazing service.

Lots of varierty and great prices. In store customer service is great. The delivery, however was less than satisfactory. Long story short, I was reassured on the day of purchase my stairs would not be a problem for delivery and installation. However, the delivery team of two did not want to take the couch up the stairs, caliming it wasnt going to fit and was too risky. I was left to get the couch up my own stairs and did it alone in about 30-45 minutes. Would have appreciated the team at least trying it. Overall though, good experience. Would probably recommend to friends.

I purchased a sectional couch with delivery that had a warranty issue to which AFW said they would repair. AFW delivery drivers picked up the piece which was in repair for a week. Had a scheduled delivery for the piece this morning and had to come across the most unprofessional delivery drivers in my life. They left the piece on the front porch and told me it was my responsibility to move it into the house and basement. I explained to the drivers that I had paid for delivery and asked if there was anyone that they could call and verify to which they responded no and that I had to call customer service. Spoke with customer service after 20 minute hold who promptly had the delivery drivers back in 30 minutes to move it off my porch. The delivery driver could have solved this whole issue with a quick phone call. Extremely unprofessional delivery!
Honestly, it was a pretty good experience until we had a problem with the delivery dates. After having a problem scheduling delivery date that I was promised I asked to speak with the manager. Rich, the manager, literally called me a liar and said I was making things up. Unfortunately, I’ve never met a manager who is less interested in customer service. It is clear they care much more about commission and sales goals than what the customer needs. So at the end of the day, I would avoid this location for sure. At least until they fix their management team.

Great selections for half the price of other retailers in the metro area. Smaller selection than the one in Thornton, but the service is great and if you see something you like they can have it shipped. Small selection of rugs though.

We ordered a sectional on 5/29/21 and still have not received delivery. The item is backordered and AFW offers nothing for the inconvenience. We are going on 3 months. Be leery of promised delivery dates.

Came here about 3 weeks ago to pick out a couch. We spent a decent amount in this couch and the delivery fee and when the time came to deliver, they couldn’t do it because of the size of the couch. The salesman didn’t go over sizing with us and just made the sale. When we came back to pick out another couch it was impossible to find a couch. The salesman was very rude and forgot about us and every couch was on an at least 3 month back order. Ended up getting a full refund to not deal with this place.

Not sure what was going on the day we were there but customer service was AWFUL. The smug better-than-you warehouse stockers were gathered unmoving like a pack of seagulls. Inside there was no one to help us. Fortunately Estelle at customer service did a great job and helped us fight corporate customer service who denied us a refund because they lied about why their beds snap.. In the end we walked out with a replacement and it was all good.
I am very sorry I bought my furniture from here. I spent 2,200 in there and paid it off that day, that was May 17th and it’s now July 14th and I still am waiting for the rest of my couch which was supposed to be here by the middle of June! They have kept pushing out the date for it to be delivered and I would not shop there again because of the run around that I am still getting.
Again did not have items that Are on the floor. I would have to go elsewhere or pay for delivery.
As a native from Colorado I have to say Im totally disappointed In the customer service I received this last shopping experience. I bought a furniture set a couch and a chair Paid for delivery It was never delivered, I tried calling couldnt get in touch with anyone for two days.I went up to the store they rescheduled my delivery And charged me an extra $60. I paid the fee and waited With no delivery again.! Tried calling for two more days, nothing. I went up there a third time. They rescheduled again without charging me, and my rep called me a few days later. Isaac is his nameHe said I was scheduled a whole month and a half out. I waited til the day and never recieved a call So I called and for the first time in months I was able to speak with someone. They said I was not on the schedule at all. Afw sucks. They lost a lifelong customer today.
Showroom is always clean and eye catching. I was looking at different beds and the staff member was more than willing to show me around and help me determine what type of bed I might need for my bad back. Its nice to know that people care enough still to make the customer happy.

So the sales process was great however we literally purchased items in January and were willing to wait until mid April to get them, today April 17th our items were finally supposed to come . Minutes ago I received two calls from the delivery driver one saying they would be here shortly, seconds after that call ended I get another call saying did Customer service call you because your bed has been cancelled ? Wow seriously!! The issue was discovered this morning and now their saying Mid May before more come that is absolutely unacceptable. I have A huge issue with this being the only solution for us, this is not an issue with delivery nor the drivers I feel they went out there way to do the job customer service should have done.!! Now I am being patronized and expected to accept the lack of customer service and select something else or wait even longer, THAT is GARBABE IN EVERY WAY!!
This is the laziest group of employees I’ve ever seen. After a long discussion with them about broken casters on an over priced patio table I purchased from them that subsequently fell apart, I was told to come into the store to pick up replacement casters. After driving across town to pick them up, the five people standing up front with what looked like nothing to do, told me the one person in the whole warehouse that knew about this stuff wasn’t there and I should “drive to the Longmont store to see if they have them.”Luckily I can order the casters from Amazon, as well as the other patio furniture I am planning to purchase this summer.My recommendation, do your homework and find the same exact stuff, for cheaper, and better service, elsewhere.

Dont go here unless you have to. Save yourself the hassle and drive to the Thornton warehouse. Everytime I go here the staff seems to be too preoccupied. Today was just another example of that. Unsure why we keep trying to give this location business.
AFW is the only place to buy furniture in Colorado. We just replaced a couch that lasted 8+ year and still had life left. We just wanted something new.

(No big deal.)But Grant street pick up system is horrible!! Everyone is fighting to get to the door, cause they sent out a message to 5 people to come to that door.They really need a better system for that.
Very grateful to Rey Varkervisser, for his attention and patience a great seller, good options to choose from and prices of all kinds, but the worst delivery experience, I live on a three floor and they decided that it was very difficult to climb the furniture because it was great, my options leave it on the ground floor and see how you raise it or return it and lose 15% of furniture value, in the end they left it on the street and my husband with a friend uploaded it, attached the intact furniture in my apartment, Simply little collaboration and good work at the time of delivery

Big store with lots of choices...The salespeople were all nice and several asked if we needed help...I bought a mattress, box spring, and frame...The delivery guys were awesome set it all up and took the trash with them...The mattress is comfy way better than the Purple mattress!!!

Just no. Nothing in stock and they show you anyways without telling you. The couch we were looking for was 2 months on backorder but they wouldnt tell us that and dont sell the floor models. So why even show us anything? Waste of time here. Not even the first time they did this.
If I could leave less then 1 star i would. Went here for a couch when i moved, spent $1800 CASH on a couch. When it was delivered it was missing a cushion. I immediately called and informed them. They have not yet gotten the cushion, nor a refund and it has been over 3 months. Dont waste your money or time with these people.

I have bought seval items from this store and I have always liked how they treated my husband and I, but today they totally changed our minds. We were humiliated. We paid with cash and after several minutes waiting for the change the clerk told us that they were checking a 100 dollar bill that they werent sure if it was fake. They couldnt really make up their minds, and never concluded if it was or not, so they asked us to change it and didnt even bother to explain anything beyond that. We really felt this was disrespectful because if you are 100% certain that you found a fake bill you should not return it, and probably call the police. Since we werent told what was going on, we ourselves werent sure if it could have been the same clerk or anyone else down the chain of custody who did anything with our money. How is it possible you treat someone like that if you are not even sure? We gave them a bill of their liking and left, We will never be back. You just lost loyal customers who had always bought from you.

Ordered our sectional Dec 15th. was told the couch would be delivered by the end of Jan. It is now almost mid Feb. when I called and asked about the sectional they said half of it was there and we would get it the first week of Feb. I called again and now they said it wont be until the end of Feb. The customer services is horrible, they should at least have the common curtesy to let a customer know what things have changed. From reading other complaints and the response given back we were supposed to have the option of paying 20% if the delivery window is more then 30 days, no one made mention of this when we paid for our couch in full. So they are receiving money knowing they are not going to deliver in the time given ( must be nice to make money off of undelivered products). I paid cash so if I were to receive a refund they would have to send me a check, so I would have to wait another 3 months just to get a refund. Never again will I purchase from AFW.

Really affordable quality items really anything ya want for home furniture. The staff is kind and pleasant too. They can do home delivery or same day delivery as well. I love their chairs really comfy just wish they had more artistic colors like rainbow paisley or neon purple or designer chairs. But for affordable things for minimalist stuff really cannot beat them and it took barely 2 hours.

We ordered essential furniture from American Furniture Warehouse to arrive on a specific date. We desperately needed the delivery to be accurate because I receive in home medical care on our couch (which we purchased here). On the delivery date, we were told the furniture would be delivered at 10:15am. I was home at 10:15am, but never heard a knock or got a call or anything. So, we called customer service. They said they could not get ahold of the truck or the manager to find out any information on our delivery. At 10:30 am, customer service called back and reported that the delivery truck waited for 20 minutes and room a picture of our door, but nobody answered, so they wouldn’t be delivering our furniture for 2 more days. Now, I must receive my medical care ON THE FLOOR, or cancel the order. We are leaning towards cancelling the order and purchasing elsewhere. STAY AWAY. Nobody ever even knocked or called us to notify us that they were here. They took a picture of our door and left without delivering a single thing.

Overall was pleased with the experience and furniture I ordered!Only thing from putting 5 stars was the fact that I had ordered a few things including a box spring, but when the delivery came there was no box spring and was apparently back ordered, which I wasn’t told about when making the purchase, or even any time between making the purchase or delivery. I was quite upset and annoyed because I was on a tight time crunch - but long story short, the AFW Westminster accommodated for this mix up and handled the situation greatly and made up for the mix up, and I will most likely shop there again! I really appreciated how the situation was fixed. 👍🏼
Found the sofa I liked very quickly but it was on back order for a month. It took a long time to find out it wasnt available. I ended up ordering something online.Update: They keep calling me about service on a desk for my ex girlfriend. Im not returning the call. They must have horrible backend service because its been months and they havent bothered with alternative contact info.

There was one mattress left that we wanted, it was marked down from over $1000.00 to $298 for a serta king, so our sales rep added it to our order, we picked out the bed set we wanted for our new king mattress and when we went to wrap things up, and pay, our mattress was gone. They sold it to someone else after we said we would take it and was added to our order. Our sales rep got his manager and he could care less. We told him that we will take our business elsewhere and he shrugged his shoulders and walked away. I also called corporate and they could care less as well. They lost our business now and we shopped there often. Never again. They done absolutely NOTHING to make it right. We will never shop AFW again and we will make sure none of our friends or family do either.

I came with my family customer service was not great. I asked 1question and i could tell he was irratated that i asked we walked the whole store no one asked if we needed help. This location was close to my house but i would drive farther out rather then go back there again.
AFW wants business from everyone, including handicapped buyers. The 2nd level of the store had riding carts so I was able to shop & I wasnt approached by a sales person until I looked a bit, I told her what I wanted & she found it for me in 10 minutes! Plus everyone respected vulnerable people and were required to wear a mask.

DO NOT TRUST AFW!!!!! They delivered furniture to my house on 1/10/19 and damaged my fridge. I told them about the damage right away as I saw him do it and he took pictures to send to claim department. I just talked to Juan from the claim department and said that they will not cover damages after review and statements from the delivery people. He provided me no information as to why it was not being covered and did not provide me with their statements. He also would not let me speak to his boss or give me his last name.
Dont waste your time going here. They are a showroom only. You will have to go to the main warehouse to get anything you order. They wouldnt even sell me a park bench that was marked LAST ONE!

I had my kitchen table for 2 months and the finish is coming off. Customer service informed me that I should know that ALL kitchen tables need to have a place mat for any drinks or plates or the finish will come off and I should know this, thats why they sell them. No care instructions came with the furniture. I will never purchase from American Furniture again. Please beware on how cheaply items are made from American Furniture and if you need to cover your piece of furniture before use. Why purchase something that looks nice to use it.
Couldn’t find anyone which is odd. Then found a lady to help us, as she was on the computer a couple asked her a question, literally in the middle of helping us she started helping them and just walked away with them never to be seen again... so weird. Had to find a different employee again. Thankfully he was beyond helpful and quick.
I would like to recognize an employee of AFW for outstanding service. Ray V. at the Westminster CO store was so helpful and a pleasure to work with. He was very patient with me on my multiple visits to pick out my new apartment furniture. He was extremely knowledgeable and made great recommendations.I work for a large hotel chain, and I understand service is the key to loyal customers. Ray was exceptional, enough so I’m taking time to email feedback. I will be back to AFW in the future because of Ray. Please be sure to recognize him for outstanding service.
When you order furniture in May and wont receive it until mid July. What a joke! They lack basic communication skills. They failed to give me a courtesy call about the status of my order, apperantly it was placed on back order twice and I was not notified. I was excited each day after the original purchase date back in May because I was closer to receiving my couch. There was a few times I had went into the store and they would tell me that it was on its way. I guess thats on me because I never really specifically asked what day or month it was going to get here. The original wait time was only 2 weeks.... I was cool with waiting that time but not this long. Anyways I called to ask for a refund and the lady had given me the option to say why I was returing my furniture and I told her why but she acted like she did not care and did not acknowledge my situation. I was hurt and they low key made me feel like I was not important enough. Please steer clear from this place.
Dont buy from American furniture warehouse. We purchased a loveseat from them and it will take 6 to 8 weeks to be delivered but they put the charges on your card immediately. You letting them live on your money for two months before they deliver if they deliver

I was visiting this store with a disabled person that needed a riding cart to effectively shop. I found the carts on the 2ND floor. How does a disabled person GET to the 2nd floor to get a cart?
Always been a big fan of American Furniture Warehouse. If you go to the Westminster location I recommend working with Rey V. (sales rep). He is incredibly knowledgable and spent a bunch of time with us to educate us on the differences between the pieces we were looking at. We also called to change our order and he was super accommodating helped us over the phone.Great company with an even better sales rep. Thanks Rey!

We got a great couch at a great price. Pickup was really easy. There was an issue with one of the parts, and they were very quick to correct the issue and exchange the item. I even got a call from the sales associate apologizing for the issue. Great products and great customer service. Thanks :)

As a shopper, I despise pushy sales philosophies and the companies that promote them. No, I don’t dislike the people at all – just the policy. So, when my wife and I walked into American Furniture we couldn’t have been more shocked. Not one employee crowded us or bothered us or did anything at all beyond saying hello and inquiring as to whether we needed direction. After hearing no, they actually left us alone to do our shopping. We made our way easily through their store and found exactly what we wanted without pressure or one word being uttered we didn’t want to hear. It was an genuinely pleasant shopping experience.It’s a shame more businesses don’t follow American Furniture’s lead and just let their salespeople excel at closing the deal – not creating it from scratch. Nathanael was incredibly professional, informative, and expedient when we asked him to be and nothing other than respectful before. Thanks American Furniture! That’s the kind of no-pressure, hassle-free sale we enjoy and we’ll be back whenever we need high-quality furniture without the stress. Even after calling back with a few questions both the manager and the associate Jessica were extremely professional. We will be back.
