I purchased 3 bolts (1 online and 2 from local stores). There is a cutting in the middle of my bolt. Obviously, I would have preferred to have been advised of the piece of salvage in the middle of my bolt (approx 58). My minimum cutting layout is 84-86. Someone should have said something. Now I find myself behind to rework a cutting layout. Im very disappointed and hoping that this disappointment will not have to be passed along to my client. I wish I knew which store (Westminster or Northglenn) did this but I did not mark my pick up bags.😐Custome care response:[W]e do not guarantee how fabric will arrive however, our warehouses do make every attempt to fill orders in the least amount of cuts possible. Helpful, knowledgeable staff. Lady at the fabric table brainstormed with to determine the right amount I needed for some overstuffed pillows.. Couldnt get my app to work for my coupon. Cashier came thru.

Lost a sale. I ran in to grab one thing and took about 30 seconds. I got to the line and there was about eight people in there all with multiple items. Only two cashiers. Of course every customer here has coupons and needs to make sure they are getting the exact deal they expect. This process I have seen takes minutes on end per customer. After getting the feeling I would be standing there for a quarter of an hour to pay for one item, I pulled up Amazon, found what I needed on there, placed an order. And left the store. If you want to keep your younger customers, you need to speed up the checkout system. Don’t waste peoples time.

Not that I shop often here but JOANNs is always the go to place for anything having to do with textiles for clothes. I just wanted some iron on denim repair patches because at 60, I feel very silly sporting ripped jeans! These holes happened naturally however.

Thanks to this Joanns I was able to get all the supplies I needed to teach myself how to make pressed flower jewelry like I’ve wanted to learn how to make for forever now! Their selection is soo much better then the one in Boulder, like it felt like a completely different store almost!

I called today and asked if someone would be able to help me know how much fabric to order for a cushions that I’m adding new fabric to.Had the exact measurements and just wanted to know how many yards I should order online.The lady I spoke with said she could not help me that she would not be able to help give me the exact yards.I said I didn’t need exact yards I just needed to know about how many yards I should order so that I had enough fabric.Then I was told she was not allowed to do that over the phone I would have to come inside.That made no sense to me because I had the exact measurements. (I had no plans dragging these large cushions in a store!)She then said, well it would actually depend on what type of fabric, I then told her I knew the type of fabric and she still said, I’m sorry I’m not able to help you we don’t do it over the phone, we are not allowed.I then called a different Joannes (the NorthGlen store Colorado) and the lady that helped me there was amazing her name was Jasmine, and was able to give me an estimated amount of yards I should order and she was so patient and helpful!I then called back to this store and asked for the manager, The lady that helped me before is the one who came on the phone. I told her that I called another Joannes and they were able to help me and they were awesome and that I was super disappointed that she chose not to be helpful for me as a customer. She then told me, sorry I was not comfortable helping you with your project so I was not going to help you. I then asked for her name she refused to give it to me I said either way I will write a review and then at the end she told me her name was Dana.How is it during these times you would choose not to be helpful to a customer who is high-risk has children who are high risk and not comfortable coming inside and then wanted to just order something online. That is unacceptable customer service, she was so rude and if she is your manager you should rethink your management staff

I need to put a note about how good the Viking sewing machines are! I have the 960Q. This machine uses all the good stuff of all different brands and combines it into one machine. And the person, Tony is the one to buy it from. He is a very knowledgeable person and will explain things to you. He’s awesome!

Super organized and clean store. We found yarns for knitting and weaving projects, enough to complete them. Even so, many bins were empty. I also would like to see more cotton yarns for weaving (8/2 or so). Staff and other customers observed CDC Covid-19 guidelines.

Other than the lines to check out on the weekends, this Joann is clean, and most of the employees are super nice and helpful!

Staff was helpful in finding products and friendly all the way through checkout. Its a smaller store but I was able to find everything I needed and they had several check stands open and the line moved very quickly. Great job!

This is probably the largest JoAnns Ive seen. Very open with wide aisles and friendly people.

I couldnt find the type of fabric I wanted and when I asked an employee if they could help me find it. they said I dont know youll have to look around. I figured maybe they would know but i guess not. I finally found something similar to what i was looking for and I went to get the fabric cut and I explain to the lady that I was new to sewing and i was excited and I wanted to make a dress for a little girl. She told me I couldnt use the fabric for what i wanted to do (she said this is for an adult dress) and put it away. I asked her if she knew where they would have that type and she said look in the clearance, so i asked where the clearance was she pointed and said probably over there where it says clearance... talk about rude, if I want a fabric I should be able to get it not an employee saying I cant use it and not give it to. Let me learn and if not i can figure out something else to do with it. I left with nothing that day.Then I returned to that store to find a small iron, I found one but ended up returning it a few days later. the lady at the cash register ask why i was returning it and I explained it doesnt iron out the creases in the fabric that was folded so it doesnt get hot enough. she said, well you should have known this small of an iron isnt meant for clothes. thats not what I was using it for like I explained...It just seems like this store is better when you dont have to communicate with employees and being new to sewing I figure they would be more helpful and polite.

Called ahead to see if they carried silk fabric. On hold over 5 minutes the 1st time. 2nd call, employee said yes. Drove 20 miles. Couldnt find it after walking whole store 2x and checking numerous bolts. Had to draw number and wait to ask a question and then was told they dont carry it. Some employees knowledgable, others have no clue about their store.

Covid safety procedures in place. Good supply of yarns and prompt correction of a price difference.

We went in to buy a cutting board and was pleased to discover it was on sale. The check-out line was fast and our cashier was courteous. Going back tomorrow for Halloween fabric. Great assortment!

They will likely have all the supplies you will need, but if there is five people in line expect to wait at least 15 minutes, they definitely need to figure out cashiering, it is a very simple process it should not take time like it does there.

My 13 year old daughter LOVES making hats, scarfs, etc., from yarn. Showed her their selection, shes in heaven...

This Joann fabrics and craft store is well put together, has exceptional staff that lead me to where I could find what I was looking for and saved me from purchasing more fabric than I needed for my quilt project. My only negative thing to say is that its not their policy to tear the fabric since it does follow the grain line.

The people are really nice and always willing to help as we as teach you how to use the equipment that you might be buying. Their selection of goods is quite vast but not in terms of foam.

This Joann location is larger and much, MUCH more organized than the two other nearby locations Ive been to. The staff were all very friendly and the associate at the cutting table who helped me was very professional. I would go out of my way to return to this store.

This is a good place to get all your sewing Fabrics patterns sewing threads they also have a workshop to learn how to use machines and tattoo so very large friendly nice place to visit for all you ladies they like to sew

Everything seems to be back in the store. Some sewing machine needles are low in supply. No jean needles. Material is stocked. Everyone observing the new rules of safe distancing and masks.

The staff was extremely rude they did not apply the appropriate pricing and it was I believe because I was there with my friend who is unable to wear a face mask and from that point forward we were just berated degraded and dismissed and treated on flattering the or just rude I left and spent no money for the first time ever in that store with the direct mission to get what were ever was in that store only because they were rude inconsiderate and mispriced and couldnt how you say appreciate my patronism

Tight entering the first section of the store! Rude checkout person that wouldnt speak directly to my wife, told me to tell her the comment, as if they believe that only men can speak to their wife! Not a good attitude about women...

This place is such a great find. I needed some items for my costume and came out with so much more! While the store didnt what I was looking for (thermoplastic) I loved the organized selection of other crafty items and Halloween stuffs. The cashier was so helpful and friendly she was the best! I will be making a visit to this outstanding store a regular part of my life and you should too.Side story- A very young child was separated from his mama in the store. An employee quickly asked him the right questions and calmed him down. Great and caring employees at this location. It shows and you can feel the good vibes in the store.

Cutting them slack with a 3 star rating due to circumstances in our country right now. Had to wait in line to get into the store - ok, I get it, limiting the number of shoppers. When I did get in I counted about 15 people in the store. 3 people waiting at the cutting counter with 4 people working behind it. None of the 4 were busy helping anyone - they were all doing other things which apparently they had to concentrate so hard on that not one could acknowledge anyone waiting. I gave up & walked away. Cashier was nice & helpful. Ended up only getting a couple of things I went for. Overall a pretty wasted trip.

Great craft store, and great sales! We popped in on Black Friday, not specifically for any deals, just to grab a couple craft items-- yet we left with two LARGE painting canvases, a cute Christmas owl wreath, a holiday cookie pan, a set of decorative cookie cutters, and some felt...all for the price of ONE of those large canvases at regular price.Not only was it a great sale, but the line moved *incredibly* quickly for how long it was, and the fact it was Black Friday.I highly recommend using them as your local craft store.

Joann is as much of a craft store as it is for fabric. This location is a good visit when comparing materials with Walmart and Hobby Lobby. Service is friendly and very helpful.

Although their prices are a little too high in my opinion, they have the best selection of fabric in the area and keep everything very well categorized. The other crafts items are as well. Employees are very helpful.

This location is well kept and Id go here instead of Colfax! Also the line to cut fabric and trims is never that long. They are super nice here. I like this store!

So many fabrics!! Large selection of felt squares as well as yarns. The fabric remnant is also continuously stock up with a variety of tapestries, flannels, and quilt fabrics. The check out lines are fast and friendly. Plenty of parking and easy to see from main street. The sewing center has very nice and patient helper. I could totally spend 2 hours or more here.

One of my favorite stores to go into lots of things to look at plan on making all kinds of quilting supplies on hand which is my current desire to fulfill my latest creative designs.

They have classes! I take sewing classes, but they have so much more on their website. Ive made a pillow cover, dog bed, and a pair of pants using a pattern. Ive had a wonderful time learning new things with helpful instructors. My advice would be to show up early, and buy all the things the instructor tells you to. They are completely different from the pre-made course materials sheet. They show me the best fabric for the job, and they usually have a coupon for me to use.

This is a rather large Joanns. Their selection of quilting fabrics, specialty fabrics and home dec fabrics is varied and well priced. Download the app for special coupons. If you shop while a fabric sale is going on, you can get some pretty deep discounts. In several trips there, I have encountered only friendly, helpful staff. This store also has a sewing machine center and they provide sewing classes and craft classes.

Nice selections of yarn and some good sales

This is the best Joanns Ive ever been to. Its clean, staff is friendly and attentive, and theres a huge selection of just about everything. The only negatives I have are that the fabric aisles are NARROW and difficult to navigate. I find it hard to believe that this passed OSHA or ADA standards. Maybe retail stores dont have to comply - Im not sure. Either way, I dont dread Joann trips like I used to.

I have previously shopped at other Jo-Ann fabrics. I stopped at this one to look for a specific item. It was not busy in the store, but I had trouble finding help and no one asked me the entire time if I needed help. There was only one register open. It definitely took longer to check out then expected.

Didnt find what I needed and workers were too busy checking there emails to care. Check out line was horrible since she was answering the phone and directing calls and answering questions while we waited.. Nice selection of fabric but ZERO customer service.

Looking for upholstery fabric and needed samples. Had to take heavy bolts to cutting center in order to get 2 sample not exactly easy. What happened to precut samples attached to fabric details?

Great selection and prices. However while in line to check out a woman who was behind me in line plowed right into me. Instead of asking her to please be considerate of other customers, Tina the cashier decided to call her to the till ahead of me. Remember she was in line BEHIND me, and got to cut the line after running her butt right into me. Guess they like to reward bad behavior and Ill be getting my beading supplies at Michaels.

I find this is one of the best Jo-Ann locations Ive been to. Good selection, everything is generally 99% tidy on the shelves, you can usually tell if a kid just went through and grabbed random stuff but its always put back pretty quickly. The staff is friendly.

Was an absolute mad house Wednesday in the middle of the day should not be that busy. To have fabric cut I had to wait 45 minutes for 12 people in that line. Then I had to wait in the check out line for another 15 minutes
