Service was great! The shop was clean and the staff was very friendly. And of course the shop dog was an absolute delight! I will definitely be going back there for my regular car maintenance.

Very professional and helpful. My car was overheating for reasons I couldnt figure out so I called to schedule an appointment. They had me in the very next morning and after running a diagnostic they fixed the problem and had my car back to me within hours of it being dropped off. The prices were reasonable and the bill broke down what was labor and what parts costs. I will definitely be using them again if something else ever goes wrong with my car

This was the best experience Ive ever had at any auto shop. I have a very old imported military vehicle that nobody else was willing to work on but Mike and Daniel were happy to take on the task. Daniel is an automotive genius, and he personally did all the work on my vehicle. He installed a turbocharger on my old naturally aspirated, mechanically injected diesel and now I can finally use it up here at this altitude and up and down the divide. It runs like a champ and feels like it has twice the horsepower. Pricing was good and customer service was outstanding thanks to Sabrina. Anytime I had a question, she was happy to pick up the phone and walk me through it. I would highly recommend this shop to anybody and I cant speak highly enough about Daniel, Mike and Sabrina. I plan to go back for some other upgrades in the near future. Outstanding experience. Thank you.

Not only fast, friendly service they also came in under original estimate. Super helpful to me because they showed understanding and empathy for my need of a vehicle to get to and from work.I showed up at their shop by mistake but very quickly realized it was no mistake. Amazing Work And Fast Diagnostics

While waiting for my oil change they provided me a private office to sit in per COVID safety and even offered me plastic-wrapped cookies. They were kind and quick. Its really off the main road, so I would have never found it outside of the service I used for booking, but it was great.

I have never been one to refer or recommend service providers, but if one is looking for a mechanic, there is no better call you can make than Automotive Specialists. Service is prompt, estimates are honest and accurate. There is no up selling, or extraneous service recommendations. The mechanics are top notch and they stand behind their work. Mike, Sabrina, Bill, and all the staff are caring, considerate professionals who get the job done right, at the right price.

When I call them I talk to Sabrina and ask if they worked on class a motor homes, her reply was yes we do a lot of things on motor homes. I told her what I needed done and she set me a for their services. After I took the coach-and-four service work I had a few questions. I forgot to add 1 item to my list for them to check and they were more than happy to add it to the work order. They got my coach in-and-out and 2 days and did a lot of work on my coach. If you have a motor home and you need any kind of work done to it they can do it.Very friendly in organized people and finally found someone where you dont have to wait two month to get work done on your RV.

Thorough oil change

Only got an oil change but it seems like a really great professional team and BEST value you’ll find in town! They got me in on the same day and out under 40 mins with great customer service so that’s five stars in my book.

Brought my Mazda3 in after a friend botched my engine mount repair. They laughed because they were thinking the same thing I was thinking. How the hell did you this?Anyways they fixed it right up. Shes running very nicely now. Will be back for future repairs.

I take all of my vehicles to Automotive Specialist. They have always courteous, professional, and prompt. They add value to their services. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants their vehicles to be serviced properly. Also, I always love to see my old friend, Tucker.

Updated 10/23/2020 after Mike the owner replied to my original post.I came to this mechanic when my main mechanic could not figure out what was wrong with my older Honda Accord. My mechanic did not want to just start replacing random parts to fix my car so I was told to go to a Honda specialist. Automotive Specialists came up as a Honda specialist when I searched on Google and so I thought to see what specialized expertise they can provide to solve my car problems.I took my car in the second week of July 2020 and the specialists told me I needed a new clutch after looking over my car. This was the cure to my car which had been randomly stalling at lights I was stopped at so what did I know. Maybe replacing this expensive part would solve that…? I spoke with other mechanics and they said replacing the clutch would not solve the problem, but alas I was convinced by staff that it would solve my car troubles. I mean they spoke very confidently it would solve the problem even though I asked over and over if they were sure.I agreed and they installed a new clutch over the week and on July 17th I paid 1700 dollars for a clutch and drove my car away. As I headed home to Arvada the same car problems came up that stalled me in an intersection. THAT EVENING ON JULY 17 2020, I called automotive specialist and politely left a voicemail that it did not solve the car problems they alleged it would. I left my name, phone number and email. I never heard from them for a while as I assumed, they were busy. I was in a police academy for spring and summer that year so I was very busy myself. I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt.Three months later of not hearing from them and feeling very screwed, I wrote this review. Only then is there a sudden concern by this commercial establishment about the work they provided and lack of concern and customer service.Below is a reply from Mike the owner to my original review. He said the clutch was slipping. Well guess what? I did not come in for a slipping clutch. Also, other mechanics at the time I talked to said there was nothing wrong with my clutch. I explained the day I took my car in, how my car was stalling at lights intermittently and I was told they understood these symptoms. Mike the owner also mentioned below in his reply that when they drove my car it was fine before they gave it to me. While like I said above the car stalled on my way home the day I picked it up so they should have driven it for longer to check if it solved the problem.Finally, the owner Mike seems to be confused of the timeline as he replied below saying it took me three months to contact them when I actually called them July 17th, 2020 (the day I purchased and took my car home) and left a polite, detailed, specific voicemail to address the problem. I again never heard from them for 3 months. Recently, I have been working long hours in my new career that I have not had time to immediate discuss these with the sudden curious store owner. I at least updated this review and replied to Mike the store owners reply quicker than he could acknowledge me, three months ago.Listen I get working on cars is not easy and it is not always so straightforward in solving the car problems people expect of you, but I got screwed. I was told very quickly by a company that calls themselves automotive specialists to spend money on one of the most expensive parts to replace on a car and it cured nothing. They were so sure of themselves and I needed my car. So I tried trusting them and got screwed. With the haste and over-confidence they addressed my car problems it just doesn’t set right with me and I question the integrity of this establishment. Feels like they are just trying to make money and not take care of customers cars. In fact I took my Honda to another shop after this place and replacing a map sensor and the spark plugs is all it took to fix my cars. I guess this was too hard for the specialists to figure out. So I say be careful trusting them with your car. I do not recommend them.

Waaay too over priced. Your better going with name brand shops as the warranty will be better and maybe cheaper

I am a dealership person. I have an extensive background in automotive repair and pride myself on knowing my vehicles. I use the dealership because, I assume they will take care of my vehicles with their experience and technology. I used Automotive Specialists since I had met their new owner a few times and wanted to support local business. I was more than please with my experience when there shop. Bill, their lead technician worked through an issue that the dealership wanted an hour of diagnostic time to look at, in a matter of minutes. He repaired my concern and explained to me what he did, how is happened and BOOM it was done. Additionally I have a headlight out due to an accident and he was concerned about safety and the threat of ticket- he offered to order the part and repair it until we got into a body shop. No other repair facility had ever offered to do this. He went through the car, created a list of concerns I should start to tackle and told me what was most important to keep me on the road... safely. I have found a new home for my auto repairs. KUDOS Automotive Specialists!

My friend kyle and I were driving across the country when we noticed some resistance with our steering wheel. We called these Automotive Specialists within minutes of their opening time and were pleasantly told to bring the truck in. We had the issue diagnosed and fixed in 30 mins for a reasonable price. Automotive Specialists is FANTASTIC!! The only thing that I needed was an oil change and they came and picked up the car for me. They went over different things they found but never tried to sell me on anything. Service was done quickly and when they dropped it off it was completely disinfected (COVID19) and clean. Ill be back!!

They are great. I needed to get an oil change and my power steering fluid flushed. The owner waited around for me to drop it off after they closed and had it ready for me on my way to work at 8:30 the next morning. They didnt try to upsell anything or have more work done on the car then I wanted. They are fast, knowledgeable, friendly and affordable.

Absolute quality! fantastic customer service and the work was second to none. Im glad I found a great mechanic shop that with confidence I can recommend to friends and family.ps. They have a quiet office set up with wifi in the back for clients to continue working while the car gets serviced.

Good people that have respect for everyone. Bob will go out of his way to help. Ryan a master mechanic, his welds look like factory welds, he can fix pretty much anything. If it cant be fixed he can and will fabricate it.

Mike and his team did a great job for me on my 1975 Landcruiser - they fixed the requested items at prices they originally quoted even though things got more complicated. We found out that I needed new rims and they ordered it for me without any hassle. Most importantly the end result was great and the FJ is driving great.

If I could give 0 stars i would. I have been getting my car repaired here for years by Bob. Well Bob has since sold the business and the new owner is an awful person. his pricing is higher then the dealership. a simple oil change will run you around $100. The new owner is the rudest person I have ever dealt with. BEWARE of this place now, not the same. I would highly suggest you shop around this guy is all about $$$$ & nothing else!!!
