I dont know what is going on but Michaels usually has a nice display of Christmas decorations and supplies, today l was there and they literally had nothing, they had ribbon but not much else in Christmas projects very very disappointing, guess l will have to go to Hobby Lobby.

I just wanted to write a review about my framing experience. I picked it up earlier today, and the wonderful gal I worked with was busy with another framing order, so I let her work in peace. But I regret not giving her another thank you. She really was amazing.She gave me 2 drastically different, absolutely flattering framing options for a very abstract piece of art. While the 1st option was a gorgeous, sure bet; her second recommendation was brilliant, less obvious, and totally captured the artwork -and the mood!- much affectionately (in my option. Im definitely not bragging, but I went to art school {who hasnt?}, and she was speaking my LANGUAGE). If I get another important print soon, I will rush immediately to the store and demand her (vs. saving up the cash, first). Her name is Kenna, and she deserves a RAISE. Im the signed Lorde print, thank you for capturing it for me.

I had an issue when trying to use a gift card I had, so I paid with my credit card after the cashier tried multiple times (I didn’t want to hold the line up any longer). Got a print custom framed here. The framers are amazing, worked with me to find the perfect frame and mattes with great colors and textures that just enhance the picture so much. If youre looking for a professional framing job look no further. Shout out to Kenna who helped me so much when choosing what options to go with, shes awesome.

Had the experience of interacting with their cashier, Jaime. Body language says more than just words. We got to the cashier and asked her to just tell us what the prices are for each product in the cart (around 10) as she is scanning it in. She is like- “Everything?” At the end when she was bagging the items, we said we do not need them bagged. That’s when she lost it and started throwing our items at us. What an immature person? I don’t care if you are a teenager having issues, be professional when you are at work. And don’t throw glass items at your customers who just bought them from you. At the end of if all- it was “Have a Good Day!” with an eye roll. Girl, keep your fake pleasantries to yourself. Such a bad experience at this Michael’s. We would rather go to a Hobby Lobby or Guiry’s.

Maddie is the best! She was knowledgeable and honest. She helped me decide on a frame and matting. The piece turned out amazing and she answered all my questions!

Horrible, no help at all. 5 people standing in line for 20 minutes, no one to call for assistance. I needed help with a project, walked thru the store twice, never saw one employee. How do you stay in business, obviously it is Not your superior customer service. I wont return.

Still the best for art supplies and picture frames as well as other accessories.

You cant beat Michaels, it is a crafters dream! The store is so well organized and clean with a wonderful selection of everything you need (and dont need) to complete any project you could imagine! The prices are unbeatable and the rewards program is the way to go hands down.

The place is awesome. It has all your needs for artistic endeavors. Also has essentially fabric and a ton of sharpies.

Framing department is wonderful. Customer service and staff in the department is great. So attentive and great and making suggestions for framing. The store is always clean and other customer service is always great.

Helpful knowledgeable staff. Great selection of all types of crafts and decorations. I am an avid coloring book coloror and love the pencils and markers sold here.

Dont bother going to this Michaels its super tiny with very little inventory

Server Shanita was very pleasant, and caring she came asking how the food was and if there was anything she could get us. The manager was very pleasant she came by 2 times as if everything was ok.

This store was my wifes prefered place to shop, she was interested in a storage bin for her crafts. She found what she needed & purchased the item but we went to look for another smaller container. While we didnt find another one we did find the same container at a different popular store for $40 more. This extreme cost imcrease is why I gave Michaels the 5 Star Rating!

Great place for the artist in you!

Nice selection for a smaller sized location. Great customer service, polite and patient. Parking can be a hassle. They have some Jewish holiday items, which was pleasant to see. Maybe Kwanzaa next year, Michaels?

They always have what I need and at a reasonable price. AND they arent Hobby Lobby.

I had two prints that needed framing and Mattie provided excellent design advice and then did the framing. Very pleased with result!

Kenna helped us, in the frame shop. She is quick, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. We will definitely come back!

I have only recently fallen in love with michaels, but not all stores are well taken care of. This one is, thankfully, because its only 6 min from my front door! Clean, well stocked... The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is related to staffing (in the evening, when I shop): if the customer ahead of you is buying big, the wait in line can be endless when there is only 1 person Manning the registers.

Excellent craft store

Didnt have the item I was looking for thus time.

Lots of supplies for lots of different crafts and hobbies. Well organized. The negative aspects were long checkout line (only 2clerks), and very, very few people available for help/information.

I usually go here about once every 2 weeks for craft supplies and sometimes the cashiers are awake and willing to check you out but other times they are too busy talking to even look at customers. I think the biggest issue with this store is if you need something, you need to go all the way up to the front, wait in the check out line and then ask. I have never seen anyone in the aisles assisting customers. I do enjoy that it is one of the less busy locations and I usually can get what I am looking for, if I have enough time to search for it on my own.

Often a bit of a struggle to find parking. Well stocked. Oddly organized although like items are roughly grouped together. Staff are friendly and the frequent coupons are real money savers. Their prices seem on the cusp of being truly too high but still a good place to shop for crafting needs - just... use a coupon.

Great variety of items to choose from for every craft. My personal #1 craft store to go to. A bit expensive but is worth it when competitors like Hobby Lobby are homophobic🧚‍♀️🌟🏳️‍🌈.

I asked an employee if they had more of the clay I was looking for as I was standing in the ceramic aisle. The employee looked at the empty shelf, the empty tub underneath the shelf, said no, and left. Thanks for the help... Not coming back to this store.

Watch the way you talk to and treat my baby! He recently went in to get his art supplies and staff would barely help him or talk with him so he has to order online. He’s an amazing artist and should be treated better when he comes in. Y’all are trippin and owe him an apology!

This store has a limited selection of craft supplies. There is some cute holiday decor however it it pricey. Even on sale. The front end does not seem to be managed well. Very slow checkout with not enough help.

Awesome Michaels! The staff is really helpful, its always busy and and selection is awesome. Went for Black Friday this year and they had every single register open and staffed. Always get and use the coupons!!

I appreciated the entire staff were wearing masks, the individual who checked us out cleaning her hands before assiting us, and the floors being clearly marked with aisle directions and sufficient distancing marks in the checkout lane.

My sister and I are literally here every single day because of the coupons. Im almost 99% sure I know the layout and would be able to help customers because we cant stay away. If you have a craft or project, Michaels is the place to go.

This is the first time Ive been to this Michaels location. It is smaller than the one I usually go to. I was able to find some merchandise I couldnt find online or at the location I usually go to. But, in other merchandise categories, I wasnt able to find any trace of 2 different on-sale items. I had a wonderful cashier who was the perfect combination of very nice and highly productive. I will definitely return to this Michaels location.

Brittany needs a promotion! She is So helpful and kind every time we come to the store.This store is excellent, organized, clean, and has the kindest employees! There is a closer Michaels where we live in Arvada, but we drive to this location in Walnut Creek because of the incredible service and selection at this store. Also, we love the grab bags!

Michaels is like the Bed Bath and Beyond of arts and craft stores. I started going here after the Hobby Lobby supreme court decision and i will never go back. There are always coupons available in the range of 40% off and their seasonal sales are amazing. They are the base for all my theme party decorations and when they dont have something they can either order it or know where I can get it. Im really happy with them.

My girlfriend and I went to Michaels about a week ago. She loves to paint and i enjoy crafts. Michaels has any type of craft or art you can imagine and some you cant. Some of the prices are high. But thats because they have the best selection out of any arts and craft stores I know of.

All the craft supplies! My son always enjoys coming here to check out the kits and art supplies for kids and loves it!

I am always impressed with the selection at this Michaels. It is well organized and stocked regularly. If you have a vision or project in mind, theyre going to have what you need to finish or bam it up. Most of their craft supplies are a good deal, and you can get larger pieces at a moderate price point. They have all kinds of paints, including 3D and fabric paints and tie-dye sets. Plenty of good wooden or styrofoam templates to start with, or canvases of all sizes to ruin (maybe thats just me 😂). You can even find Scrapbooking and framing supplies, as well as fake flora and mosses and things. Its the first (or only) stopping point for the creatively minded.

Its impossible for me to walk into this store and buy only what I came for. There are always great deals going on. In my experience everyone is very helpful as well!

Perfect craft store. Ive always found everything Ive needed for every random craft I take on. From resin to painting to baking. Today I stopped at Michaels after 2 other stores for black food coloring. Its Halloween season and everyone was sold out. Except Michaels. They had a huge stock.I love their app. Their coupons are easy to use. And their staff is always extremely helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this location.

They had what I wanted, and had very clear making for social distancing. Everyone was in masks.

Very nice and clean store. Great for the little things you might need. The only issue for me is how small it is. If you’re looking for a big selection of decor and craft supplies, go to a different store. This one is very small and limited in what they carry. Otherwise the staff is always very friendly.

This Michaels always has a good selection and we enjoy shopping here! I was particularly won over this last visit when my three year old dropped and broke a glass ornament in the store. We quickly told someone what had happened and two ladies came over to help clean up. They were both incredibly gracious and did not make us feel at all bad about the incident reminding my kiddo that accidents happen! They exceeded all expectations in my book!

My husband and I love this store, especially around Halloween when they come out with some fun spooky dark decor. They have great deals (better than JoAnns), and they are flexible with coupons (within reason). I also shop at this Michaels for art supplies and various craft materials. This Michaels is very easy to get to and extremely clean and organized. They have everything youre looking for, and always have sales. And if you sign up online with Michael still send you coupons constantly, so that you save even more even with the sales they have going on.

If youre looking for a type of pen this is the place to go. And pant and pant bushes. Probably other art project thing. If you put yourself on a time or you will lose track of your day.

I normally enjoy Michaels but today wasnt my day. I went there specifically for Art resin. I had a 50% off coupon Inwas going to use. They only had 1 knock off brand available, and were actually sold out of the clear kind I needed anyways. I ended up getting some level 2 acrylic paint with the coupon. Also I found a pack on canvases that had a huge tear in them. I asked at the front if they would discount them. They said because they were already on sale they wouldnt. Overall the bext time I would probably just order what I need off Amazon. I took the bus up there, and felt like I waisted 2 hours of my day attempting to use this coupon.

Nice clean store. Friendly staff. The prices are high, and you have to use one of their coupons to even make them reasonable. Those items that are on sale you cant use the coupons on.Hard to find a bargain there.

A little hectic because it was after the holidays, but overall the visit wasnt bad. The staff their is very helpful and easy to talk to. The only complaint I might have is that they didnt have the product they said they had on their site, but its kinda like that with all stores so yeah.

Have great products. Customer service is a hit or miss. Sometimes I dont even get greeted the entire visit. Finding assistance can be hard. And I have had to argue with a manager about an error they made that they refused to admit and didnt want to fix. I come back for the products not service.
