He did a great job on some difficult pieces.

Very pleased with my deck chairs and table. I will most definately be returning for my patio and front porch furniture. Well made, weathers well, and great prices.

Very disappointed. I called ahead and was given a quote and time frame to refinish some cabinet doors and drawers. I drove all the way from Baltimore to the location period was then told I would have to wait until next year. Total waste of my time. Would not recommend

Great restoration of old kitchen chairs

Very disappointed in a simple re-caning job ...they tore up the wood on an antique chair and didnt even bother to mention it to me. When I pointed it out to them they were like oh well.. No apologies. I went to pick the chair up and they didnt even help load it in my car..I had to carry it out and take care of myself...Used them once before on another chair and what should have taken 6 weeks took 8 months. Wont go back.

Jim and Jerry at the Country Stripper- I have taken my antique furniture and non-antique furniture to these guys for over 10 years now. They do amazingly beautiful work- all the time!!! Over the years: antique mahogany table seating 10- they made 2 leaves for this table and finished the table top for me-picked up and delivered; 3 library tables- 2 of them were in pieces, they repaired them- I should put before/after pictures on the 2 tables, absolutely beautiful; numerous antique chairs restored; 3 Victorian era fern stands- restored, absolutely beautiful again; mahogany parlor style Victrola-restored; 6 maple chairs-restored. Need I describe any further? Many more pieces of furniture over the years. These guys love antiques and working with wood! They know their work! In regards to delivery time- last December, 2013 my daughter got married and wanted to use our mahogany table for pictures-well I had accidently messed up the mahogany veneer earlier-it needed repaired quickly- Jim/Jerry were there to repair it in time for the wedding! They will work with you- communicate.
