Great paint store. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful for the contractor and home owner. Had a color match of a stain off of a removed shingle . They took the time and got it perfect. Text from the client could not tell where you patched and painted it blended so well.

When I first walked in I wandered around looking at what they had, while the staff was helping another customer. Great variety of paint and paint related products that I havent seen offered elsewhere. I quickly found all but one item. I went to the guy behind the counter and he found the missing item right away.

There were 2 men at the counter, just standing around. I asked them to tell me about California paint and which type I should use on the exterior of my home. They said, flat. I asked them how much a 5 gal bucket would be and swear I heard them say $85. I asked for 5 gal. When they rang it up, the price was $350 and when I was surprised, I got scoffed at. So I told them this was over my budget. The cashier just looked at me like I was stupid and said, Well, you get what you pay for. - Insinuating that if I didnt spend a bundle in the store I would end up with a poor product. Then suddenly, he tells me theres 3 types of California Paint and gives me a price breakdown, but no other explanation. So, when faced with this guys blank stare, I said give me the cheaper one. So he sells me interior/exterior paint that was still $250, which I will have to take back. Not really happy with the way that went and I really feel like they should have advised me better, but it was like they were bored and just wanted to go home.

After picking up the stain in the store with the salesmans help, when started to apply to the house we noticed that they gave use two different colors. The salesman put all the cans from the shelf and back room together for the stair color i picked out and boxed them up. He then assisted on bringing them to my truck. Once we found out there was two different shades over three months later, this company refuses to exchange the 3 gallons of stain. We now have to eat the cost of their mistake and by 3 more gallon of $70 per gallon stain. will not be buying it from them again. Their are many more companies to buy it from and even from the stain company directly on line.

I prefer to shop local and am so sad by the way I was treated at LPC. I hope their customer service improves and they are in business for a long time.

Very long winded answers that are very misleading and dishonest. I would recommed that with all the resources available today it is so easy to find answers else where then go to New Hampshire to purchase your paint and paint supplies!!
