I have been going to this shop for almost a year. Have spent so much money on customization in all aspects of my vehicle and for general repairs. They always get me in and out right away it’s crazy. I stopped by on my way home from work for an emergency tightening of my lug nuts and they took care of my problem expeditiously even though I am not a regular customer of theirs. Garage looks very clean and well organized. I would highly recommend this business to anyone in the Westfield area!

Friend bought a hyundai a few years back from them, gas cap light was on and was to be fixed before the sale was complete. fast forward two years we have to go to emissions again and it fails for that light being on, i take apart the gauge cluster and find tape over the light, light was on during test drive so the tape wasnt there at first... Thanks guys incase your tech still works there and wants to know the car had the wrong year wiring harness in it but dont worry i figured it out.it was a 2010 black 2door hyundai accent purchased almost 4 years ago on the date of this review, nobody else has worked on said car since buying it from the shop i do all my own repairs for my household, which is why i found the tape over the light VERY concerning. after the test ride 4 years ago i asked for them to fix the cap light, the passenger side window switch and alittle plastic bit plastic in the center of the dash. probably would have asked for the shop to fix it again but the tape INSIDE the gauges was so unprecedented that wasnt even an option. Also car was registered in CT not MA but bought in MA as far as i know there is an emissions waver in CT not sure how it is in mass but i always assumed you either did that or illegally swapped the ecu into another car.I just cant understand how else the tape could have gotten INSIDE there, light was on for the test drive, off for the sale and nobody else has touched the car in that respect since, did you maybe sub the work out to another shop?

Super mgt. Great crew working respectfully on my Subaru for oil change. Later returned for Inspection Sticker, Greg did a thorough check. Owner gave me good info on air filter replacement. My recommendation is all good!!

Had a huge problem with 2017 dodge ram 2500. The motor mount failed, the turbo crushed the transmission oil cooler line. Thought that was the end for the truck. With the help of Alan, and his very professional mechanic Mr. Jimmy. Got the problem solved diagnosed and fixed in 2 days time. And wasnt expecting the price to be so good. Hands down the best automotive repair shop in all new England. Would recommend even if you from out of state. Amazing customer service and flawless communication. Was so impressed that even asked for them to change out water pump, belt tensioner, and idler. They did all this in only 2 DAYS. Unbeatable service. Would recommend to anyone that has any issue.

I went to my dealer to have a diagnostic done because I thought I was having transmission issues. They gave me a quote of $2000 with a list of things to do BEFORE they could diagnose the real issue. I thanked them and said Im going to get other quotes. I came to Brothers from a family recommendation. Alan was who handled my quote request. He was very professional, detailed in his explanations, his mechanic explained why I didnt need a lot of the work done and was able to bring my total down to $768 with a coupon of $25 deducted as well. I had my front hub and bearings replaced and 2 filters replaced. I went in at 9am left it there and got a call around 530 to say it was ready for pickup. My car sounds and feels good again without the grinding noise. Quick easy and great service. I will absolutely be going to them again.

Always had great service. Had an oil change and they charged me $246. Ive always paid around $125 with them now all of a suddenThe manufacturers change oil so they went by what they said. I have no problem with that but they should have called me and said the oil change is going to cost meAlmost double than what I usuall charged. He said he could credit my card if i thought that was fair. I told him its up to him. He didnt credit my card. I will do my own oil changes from now on. Time to look for a new place to bring my cars. Im sure they dont care at all.

They have their own service dept w/ ASE certified mechanics, take care of registry & everything. We went to Brothers car care a couple of weeks ago and met Peter, we saw a few cars online and wanted to see and drive them. Not knowing us and after his short explanation of what he did for business, he let us drive all the cars we wanted and to take as much time with each of them as we needed. Love this place for lots of reasons: sharp/certified mechanics that explain what the problems are; and provide supporting documentation (educational); simple scheduling; dog friendly environment with an awesome waiting room - coffee and classic music and more while you wait. Alan has established a nice, clean operation. I highly recommend Brothers for everything from oil changes to major repairs.

Brought car for routine inspection and oil change. Brothers shop is clean and professional, and they did a thorough job. Big step up from most franchise repair shops! The slightly higher price is well worth it (and thats coming from a college student.)

First and foremost, the customer service is above and beyond any repair shop that I have been to in the area. The owner Al, took time to hear what my vehicle issues were and sent a mechanic to investigate the issues. I left with a detailed estimate of what was needed. The vehicle was repaired and I had it back in less than 24 hours from when I dropped it off. Upon picking up my vehicle, there was a list of other issues that the mechanics had found while working on my car. No surprise changes or unauthorized repairs. I will certainly return here for future repairs on my vehicles. I highly recommend Brothers. You get what you pay for.

I recently got a quote for service from the dealer of the manufacturer of my vehicle and then went to Brothers for a second opinion. They didnt feel I needed ALL the work the dealer was recommending but the work they agreed I needed, they quoted me 30% less than the dealer. They thoroughly explained everything in great detail as to what my older vehicle needed for service and what to watch out for. Nice family business and pet friendly :) I got courteous service, in a timely manner and they are very contentious of ones time and money. I highly recommend Brothers for ALL of your automotive needs.

Very friendly and knowledgeable. Bought and got my car service there. Alan and Frank are excellent! And all of the great mechanics in the back. They make the wait not a drag by having a coffee/tea/cocoa machine, water, and allow you to stream to their Chromecast on their TV to watch what you like! The waiting room is a treasure trove of vintage car, car repair, signs and 50s memorabilia. I havent even gotten to the service. Best rates around, 2 year/24k mile warranty that covers the part and labor. Alan and Frank explain in lamens terms what they are doing and include print out diagrams to show everything being done. They even go above and beyond. Had my car towed on Friday at 2pm, mind you the Friday before New Years weekend!! I needed it for that weekend, and they stayed an hour and a half after closing to fix it. They left the keys with auto sales that is open Saturday morning to pick it up and allowed me to pay over the phone. If that isnt going above and beyond to help and be understanding of the customer, I dont know what is! Thank you so much Brothers for the excellent and stress free service, kindness and understanding. You have a life long customer and I will recommend you guys to everyone who asks if they need their car fixed or a great used car.

I used to think these guys were honest and reasonable. Now I realize they were taking me for a huge ride and I wasted my hard earned money by continuing to trust them. Just a small example is when my truck failed inspection last year for the E brake and they “fixed” it, yet it failed for the same very thing this year. My truck had body and frame rot and they never told me that. I replaced a radiator just last year. If they had been honest, I would have put that money towards a vehicle that was going to last me more than a few more years. Not to mention when they replaced the radiator, they somehow forgot to seal the transmission and It was leaking all over the place while I was driving. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone and I will never go there again. Btw, the auto sales attached to them is totally shady. That is where I got the pos Trailblazer that lasted 2 and 1/2 years and isn’t worth fixing after we paid $6,000. to purchase it. Never again.

Im from Boston, I was in Westfield visiting my family when my 06 Chry T+C started blowing white smoke out the exhaust, I was recommended to Brothers Customs on Union.Brothers took there time figured out the problem and solved it.I was impressed by how they explained the issue and gave me a visual of work done. They are honest which is hard to find with mechanic shops these days. Its all about the money and not service but not Brothers Customs they even care enough to call you to check how the car is driving after repair, thats excellent customer service in my book. Ive driven back n forth from Boston to Westfield several times already over 600 miles and I gotta tell yall Im very satisfied with service I will definitely return to Brothers for service and repair and I recommend everyone to stop by. Peter showes pure dedication, loyalty and the best customer service towards the customer, not only for the vehical but for a real person to person friendship. Great place to fix a diesel.Little story: This past spring our 2014 Ram 2500 started losing power to a point where it wouldnt go faster that 50 on a highway with rpm as high as 4k. To make long story short - 2 months of towing it from shop to shop, from dealer to dealer, many many uber bills, and $2.5k later a friend recommended Brothers Auto Sales. After bringing it in there, they were able to pinpoint the problem by evening (about 5 hours) and a week later the truck was as good as new at a fraction of a cost that we already spent.5/30/2018 Update:Still the best place to get a diesel fixed! Little long story:In November that same trucks (2014 RAM) transmission went... we got ourself a reman transmission from LKQ, had a mechanic start taking the old tranny apart, but then he just refused to work on the truck, and we had to tow it to Brothers. Well, they took it in, finished pulling out the tranny, installed the one that just came it... Sounds like a good story right? not, the tranny was faulty, it had no reverse after the first 36 miles. Well, LKQ sent us a new transmission, and these guys took the first one out and installed the new one only to find out that it was faulty as well. So, they took the second one out, and had put in a TON of effort to have LKQ send another one. Well, after they took out the 2nd one, and put in the 3rd one, it turned out that that one was faulty a well.. Coincidence?LKQ started to accuse Brothers that they never exchanged the transmission, and that they were doing somehing wrong, and this and that, but The Owner has a system in place where EVERYTHING is documented with visual proof (pictures), emails, notes, support disagnotics, which I am really grateful for, because at one point LKQ started accusing US that it is the TRUCK that is ruining the transmissions... WHAAAT?! and if it wasnt for the detailed documentation provided by Brothers we wouldnt have been reimbursed by LKQ for LKQs faulty batch of transmissions.So, then LKQ sent our truck to a trusted transmission shop, who just proved that Brothers had done everything right, and it was in fact a 3rd faulty transmission.

Even though i have to travel to the other side of westfield, i prefer BROTHERS. i trust them.....they explain everything in detail that my old vehicles may need.
