Best store Ive been to go to many n by far friendliest yet

Always friendly employees to help send me in the right direction. Store is always clean. Welcomes dogs

Id give zero stars if that was possible. Needed three pieces of wood cut in half. One saw couldnt handle them, the other was out of order. Really?!? I walked out shaking my head. Worthless box store.

Overpriced poor quality oh, you can get which better quality local supply house reel lumber yard. For instance, pressure-treated lumber is number two. Get number 1 pressure treated at you need to go to a regular lumber yard like Riverhead Supply. Dont waste your time! Ive had better luck with Hardware in a hardware store then at Home Depot.

Dont order anything online. Web site says it is in the store but the store says it shows not delivered. Definitely at the store but they chose not to look. Avoid the store in westerly unless it is a emergency. Drive to Lowes

Got directed incorrectly but it was only one aisle. No big deal. However, be careful when grabbing an item from a stack. They get mixed up and its a walk back and forth you can easily avoid.

Excellent. I ordered on line. Arrived and was helped immediately by a charming young woman . She brought out my order and I was on my way home in 10 minutes. Good management by HD!

Good selection, products are good, prices are good .But have you noticed alot of local hardware stores have had to close up shop . Up to you. Shop with a local small retailer if possible.

The only location I could find that had what I was looking for in the entire state. Thank you westerly homedepot for the great deal on the cooler I was searching for.

Nice store, plenty of stock compared to competitors

Ive been to home depots across the country. This westerly store is the most disorganized and mis managed store ever seen. Understandable when mistakes happen but when it is a reoccurring theme. There is obviously a lack of management and even the slightest bit of attention to any detail. I will drive the extra 30 minutes from now on to go to a different store where these problems rarely occur

Had a little trouble finding some stuff and no one offered to help. Otherwise after walking around a while I was able to find what I needed.

Has almost everything one would need, but often times find myself walking around aimlessly looking for items or staff to assist. When you finally do find someone to help, they are generally knowledgeable. Just need to hire a few more staff members!

The website tells you the product is available at the specific store. I asked two associates and their quick answer was we dont carry that here. Big EMPTY box store.

Very poor customer service. Got a $50 discount for opening up a Home Depot credit card, but when I try to return a $38 part because it was wrong and buy new parts to replace it they wanted to give me $6 back because of my discount. Very poor support

Dont expect help from the rug lady she is to busy on the phone and when you finally get to ask about a rug you get a huff an puff and stomp then she will incourage you to buy a pre cut just so she didnt have to move to

It was a trip to Home Depot where you go to buy one thing and pick up 4 or 5 other things since you are there. I did have a nice employee help me with something I needed there werent any on the hook they even thought the website said they had them. He asked if I needed help and got a latter to get what I needed on the top sheve that where they keep small items to restock the shelves.

Tried to order a washer and dryer in store, the associate assisting me didn’t seem to know what they were doing and failed to sell me a stacking kit for my STACKING washer dryer. after taking an entire day off work for the installation they called to inform me that my stacking kit that I had to call and have a customer service representative add to the order myself was incorrect and they could not deliver the correct one until days after my scheduled installation.spending thousands of dollars on products that can’t even be installed now, in addition to the significant lost income from taking the day off work, all due to their poorly trained staff resulted in not even a single apology. shop at lowe’s instead, their staff actually know what they’re doing.

Love the store, but trying to rent a vehicle here is a nightmare. Ive been planning all week to rent a vehicle for a Saturday morning job in another state. I called early in the week and was told they dont make reservations, but they will hold a vehicle for two hours.The night before I needed the vehicle I called to put a hold on a vehicle and pick it up by 0630 the following morning. They told me they just rented the vehicle I needed but could get me a pickup truck. Sure I said, thatll work, please hold it for me. No problem, they said, just call us by 0630 to reconfirm and pick it up by 8.I call at 0600, right when they open, to confirm my vehicle. Good thing I called, because they didnt hold my vehicle and just rented it out five seconds ago to someone else.An entire weeks worth of planning, but Home Depot cant give straight answers, take a reservation or track their hold requests overnight. If your project requires planning and forethought, dont depend on Home Depot rental services.

As usual, never fails to disappoint. No bridging for floor joist? No plastic shelving? Never have what I want even though I can usually find it across the street at Ace hardware. This is why people shop at Amazon.

The store in westerly is a dump..trieing to buy a snowblower could not get any help..will never shop there again..went to tractor supply and and bought it..the supervisor at Home depot are Bad ..

Typical Home Depot as far as layout. The staff at the Westerly store always goes the extra mile to be helpful. The store and parking lot are kept very clean and neat.

Shopping for PVC gutters and after loading everything on my cart I realized I needed end caps and another downspout. Surched the racks and found none. I asked a young man who loading metal gutters into the rack for assistance. He couldnt find any and told me he didnt have a computer. I asked him to check and he agreed. 15 minutes later I assumed he was not coming back to assist. I went to the service desk, no one was there. I went to the register and asked the cashier to check, he stated if its not in the rack we dont have it.Left dissatisfied.

Long story short, they called me in about a damage to product I ordered, I had to swap for a different order, I asked for a discount, none was given, but I later received an email and refund of price adjustment. Very surprised in a good way.I later had to return the item, there was no hassle, aside from an hour long wait (the item was still at the store), Taylor was alone at the return desk, but she did her best.Everyone Ive encountered whether experience nor training takes their time in being helpful at this home Depot.The five star is for the multiple trips and experience with the employees and the store in general.

If you need it, they probably have it or can get it. Home Depot has things that smaller home improvement stores just cant stock. When I cant find it elsewhere, its usually at Home Depot!!

Besides during pandemics its usually not busy. The store has most you could want and anything else they can order for you. The staff at this location is helpful and cheerful and even up till closing is willing to assist customers.

I like Home Depot, but its kind of by default because theyre getting to be the only nearby game, and theyre not even all that close to me. They are, generally, well stocked, making them good fir a DIYer. Still, because they are 30 minutes away in two directions, I time my visits with obligations in those directions, using Amazon now mostly, if the price is right, which it wasnt in this case. One thing I do really like is having the location in the store in the phone app. I put everything I want in the cart, and let it guide me through the store.

Shopping for a microwave. Nice selection and the store was clean. Couldnt find an employee to assist us. Finally found what we wanted. Used the self check out register. The young man monitoring the self check outs was very nice. As we walked out another cashier said thank you and good night to us. Not a bad experience.

One time there was a guy urinating on all the wood there

First off I would like to say that I visit home depot no less than 5 times a week. So I feel as though I am within my rights to say something about the elephant in the room or in this case big box since nobody else has the nerve to bring it up. Home depot is an ideal place to go if you want to start a project. But not everyone has the same views as to what a project is. Some people will go in like myself for maybe a half dozen or so items to get us through the day. Maybe some 4x4 pressure treated posts or maybe some bags of cement. But then you have these guys that are buying enough supplies to take over the world and of course they are all in line in front of me. Thats right Im talking about the mad scientists that come in every day between 8 and 10. I didnt even know that you COULD buy uranium at the depot! And why do you need 200 bags of it? But no. They always get there before me and form a giant line to the contractors checkout. That would all be bad enough if it wasnt for the employment agency setting up a kiosk in the parking lot for hopeful minions.

I had carpets installed by Home Depot at first I was happy with everything, then I noticed fraying in the doorways only one has a door that doesn’t touch the carpet. This carpet is only two months old. I called Home Depot to let them know about the problem, they told me it was probably my vacuum doing it and there wasn’t anything they can do for me about it. I wish I could post pictures of the problem. Very unhappy with the quality.

This Home Depot, has refused to do right by one of their customers, who is 91, and was given a faulty generator. As of the time of posting, this Home Depot, has yet to exchange, repair, or refund this mans money. When questioned by the local news, this Home Depot, is hiding behind their corporate office, refusing to take responsibility for their mistake. I would think a massively wealthy corporation, like Home Depot, would have a bit higher standards, in the customer service department.

Brought an old workhorse chain saw in for repair. They went the extra mile to find the parts and repair it. Sounds brand new. Great job!

Just went to get new tractor battery. Not something I can get at curbside pickup. I was in store for 3 minutes and saw 5 employees with masks around neck not covering face. That doesn’t protect anyone and the store was packed.

Call me in the morning to find out what time I was going to be there instead of telling me over the phone they did not have the product I need they let me drive two and a half hours out of my day wasted now because they didnt feel like letting me know when they called me.... after I got there they told me that I wanted something other than what I specifically ordered. Can give him negative stars so I have to give themm one.

Im so Sick of this Westerly Store! Its the worst store this company HAS!! The people that work there couldnt be MORE OVERQUALIFIED To work in a Home Depo than Ive Ever Seen! NO ONE EVER KNOWS ANYTHING! IVE HAD EMPLOYEES JUST STRAIT UP LIE TO ME AND MAKE SOMETHING UP ABOUT AN ELECTRICAL QUESTION Because they didnt know the answer! Then when I confronted them about it, they laughed and thought it was a joke. Then the other day I rented a ladder from the rental department and was a half hour late bringing it back. Mind you, I rent there all the time. So I told the guy sorry I hit some trafficAnd hes like well were gonna have to charge you FULL DAY PRICE! I sat there pleading with the manager there if he could Please give me the halfDay and he just REFUSED RUDELY! I SPEND JUST IN THAT RENTAL SHop Hundreds of dollars every couple months! This Store and the People just SUCK!!

Recently bought annual flowers to plant in my extensive garden. I spent hundreds of dollars and many hours planting the flowers I purchased. What a disappointment! I returned the flowers to the Home Depot in Westerly, Rhode Island where I made the purchase. The garden center either is sub-par or the shipment carried some disease. Needless to say, I will not be doing business with Home Depot Garden Center anytime soon.

It was horrible. I bought a DeWalt contractor kit in n September and the drill stopped working so I brought it back to 2 different home depots to even extange with the receipt and they both have me a hard time and turned me away! They were rude and not nice at all.y bosses company and I spend tens of thousands of dollars there every year and are pro Xtra members. This is rediculouse.
