Surface Tech just refinished a 50 year old cast iron tub for me that was a bit abused. WHAT. A. DIFFERENCE. This is the beginning of a budget bathroom remodel (so ignore the horrible paint, floor, and everything), and I was very discouraged about my tub and tile options. My neighbor recommended Surface Tech and I am so glad because I saved thousands on this one part of the project alone. So worth it. My tub was pretty horrible, as you can see, so they did have to come back again two days later and do some minor touch ups, but I am so happy with their communication, professionalism, and product. Thank you Mark and Ruben!

Wow, where to start? We live in an apartment complex and they contract with Surface Tech to resurface the 20+ year old tubs in the apartments. We had a crack show up at the bottom of our tub and put in the request to get it fixed. It not only took two weeks for repairs to happen, but they were dismal at best.Upon coming home from work around 5:11 p.m. there was a note saying Jim from Surface Tech had been there for the tub repair. Thank heavens. We were worried so much about the time it took to repair the crack, we even upped our renters insurance in case our tub crashed through the neighbors ceiling from water damage, even with a shoddy packing tape repair.When we got in, we found our bathroom AN ABSOLUTE MESS! Trashed tipped over, sanding pad on the floor and also the bathtub completely unusable. Is this how you guys just leave it? Are you even coming back to finish it? No indication of any return was apparent or follow up call with updates.I hope this is only a one time incident for you guys......you can see pictures in the photos section

I dont usually write reviews, but the customer service at Surface Tech was so poor that I hope I can save someone else from wasting their time with this company.On May the 6th I called Matt at Surface Tech to have some cracks repaired in my tub, he scheduled me for May the 14th at 9:00On May14th a very nice lady (I think her name was Michelle) came over, but she was unable to perform the repairs because she only had a spray gun for small areas. She was very helpful and even suggested refinishing the bathroom counter-top. She said that she would call me back later in the day to schedule an appointment. She never called me back.On May 21st I called Matt again to schedule the appointment. Matt was not at his office, so he said that he would call me back between 4:00 and 5:00. He never called me back.On May 24th I called Matt and very nicely told him that I had been trying to get this repaired for some time. He scheduled me for May the 30th at 9:00.On May the 30th Surface Tech never showed up. I called Matt, he said that he put in the work order last night and that he would call me back in just a few minutes to let me know where the tech was. He never called me back, and the tech never came over .....I dont know how Surface Tech stays in business, but do yourself a favor and avoid having Matt waste your time. I took two days off of work for this and my tub is still cracked and my bathroom has no sink because Im waiting to get the counter refinished.
