I have worked with Pablo at another store for years and one day I walked into this store at 3557 S 5600 W, West Valley City and guess who I found behind the counter. I cannot say enough about Pablos professionalism, honesty, fairness, integrity and experience. His hustle and bustle to get the work done in a timely manner and correct the first time is what he does. He is personable and pleasant to work with. I have chosen to return a few times since the day I found Pablo that one day just because he is there managing the store. I know all my service needs are met to the fullest if he is on the job. The manager was super helpful and upfront about the costs. They didnt have all the tires we wanted to replace the ones we currently had on our vehicle and he was generous enough to offer better ones for the same price. We also had an issue with our oil leaking really bad after we took it to another place to do the oil change. They were quick to identify the problem and got it fixed in 24 hours. Will be going to them from now on.

Excellent customer service! I have brought 3 cars here and have always received great service and fair pricing. Omar has helped each time and always greets and remembers me when I return. He is very helpful and pleasant, explains everything and takes good care of my cars. These people are the best!!! Rolled in on a spare on my RV. No appointment, but they got me in immediately and had me out of there on a new tire in no time! And because of warranty I only had to pay the minimal for mounting, etc. I am a Big O customer for life and highly recommend this store! They deserve 10 stars!

I absolutely trust this location servicing my vehicles. Pablo and the staff are all extremely kind and welcoming. When I sit in the waiting area, I tend to observe the action/service companies give out. I am glad to say this location treat everyone with honesty respect and kindness. They are quick Ill give them that. Talking to the guy at the counter he seemed disinterested in what I had to say, and if you ask me he probably was barley listening. Told me I had the wrong thermostat and that I needed a flush. When the coolant was a day old and had already been flushed. The thermostat has the part number right on it identifying that is was correct. All in all I basically paid them 140 bucks to tell me nothingThanks

Great place, great service. Ive been going to this location for some time now for my brakes, tires, and alignments. My cars get done in a timely manner. Pablo is always corteous, friendly, and professional every time were there. He knows what he can deliver and thats why I trust him. I highly recommend this location to anyone.

I brought in my Audi wagon on Saturday to do oil and filter change. I provided the oil and filter, I was charged $29. Car sat over the weekend after driving home from the shop. Went out on Monday morning to find that there was a rather large puddle of oil on my driveway. Had to go to work, took it to a shop across the street. Turns out, the technicians at Big O put in the incorrect drain plug, and given that it is only one bolt on the entire oil pan, I don’t know how they managed to botch that or even where this other incorrect size drain plug could’ve even come from. Shop across the street fixed it for $6.77. This Big O cannot even be trusted to put one bolt back in an oil pan and make sure it’s the right one. If that does not spell incompetence, I don’t know what does. Needless to say, I will never take my car here again.

They automatically over charge on their package deals. They charged me for 12qts of oil on a truck that only holds 10. Cost me an extra 30 bucks in oil. Service writer said its a package deal.

Its hard to trust a tire shop as is, specially when youve had bad experiences. But i can tell you, where ill for ever go from now on as long as Pablo Serrato is the manager at this store. He immediately got my trust, by the way he explained to me the best tires for my car, he was not just trying to get a sell but i felt like he cared about the tire needs i needed. Very professional, extremely knowledgeable, and cares abut his customers. I will not ever go somewhere else to purchase my tires or get my car aligned other than this tire shop. Pablo is truly an amazing employee.

Will actively try to ruin your Vehicle avoid!Got my oil change and brakes done here, the brakes had a squeak after it was done, which was fine. However after 2 and half months of running on the same oil change, my car was starting to stall whenever I would hit 3 and half thousand grand in revs. Went to a reputable mechanic, I was completely out of oil. I was running on the same oil, that they said they changed. Do not go here, go to anywhere else that is not Big O.

This big o tires has been fantastic, especially with Pablo who gets my car in quick and has outstanding customer service. I used to take my car to regular mechanics and they never would be able to figure out what was wrong with my car, so i used to waste time and money, but since i took it to big o tires i knew they would find out quickly what was wrong with it and fix it at a reasonable price. Been a customer for years now and wont take it anywhere else. Feel free to hit up Pablo there and he’ll take care of you.

Went in with a concerning issue about having ONE of my struts possibly damaged and seeing if I could get an answer for a fix but ended up getting pushed to change out my whole front and back end struts, control arms, and other steering components. It just seemed that these guys wanted me to just spend spend spend. I told them that I was just wanting my ONE STRUT that is damaged looked at and fixed, after telling them I would just go else where, they kept pressuring me on getting new tires before I left. What good are brand new tires if I’m not able to drive my vehicle to begin with? Long story short I went else where and the other guys heard me out on my issue and got my ONE strut fixed with out pressuring me on getting all four sets when I didn’t need them. And a much better deal on new tires after my problem was fixed.

Glad I stopped by this store to get tires mounted on some wheels and got an alignment on a short notice of time. Pablo helped me the whole time. Had a good experience thank you

We feel the same as others that have posted, they only care about money and selling worthless service. My daughter recently bought new tires and she was upsold on services promising savings in the future if she had an issue with a tire. Well she did have an issue with a tire that was defective. She took it in her free fix cost her 2/3 the cost of a new tire. When I called to ask about it they just claimed that was thier policy and everyone does that, yet we have never experienced that at any other tire shop. In addition they did balance or rotate the tires as they should of and said they would. When I asked about that the guy just said I dont know what they did. No sorry, no lets make this a priority and get you in asap to resolve that, just a I dont know. If it costs you 25% more at another shop for new tires, so it. The way you are treated is well worth the cost!!

There are plenty of better their shops across the wasatch front. GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE! They dont honor any warranty on the tires & give you a hard time for a flat tire. Almost all other shops have free flat repair.

This is my 7th time coming back to re do the alignment on my truck because they cant seem to get it right. They have technicians doing alignments that have no idea what the difference between camber and caster is i know this because the service advisors are explaining to them infront of me. Today i spent more than 2 hours waiting only for my truck to leave worse than how it came in. The alignment they did is so bad it changes lanes by itself going 40 mph. They left grease stains all over the exterior and interior of truck. Alberto Robles the service advisor was very unprofessional and told me they couldnt help me out anymore. Other service advisors dont have face masks on nor do the the shop technicians that are driving your vehicle in and out the shop. Very unprofessional and they did not make any effort and making things right. I asked Alberto for a refund and told me to come back another because he had things to do after work and it was getting late.

These guys will do anything they can to charge you for things you dont need. They are unprofessional. They were saying disgusting things in Spanish and probably assumed a white person doesnt understand. They rotated my tires and couldnt even be bothered to fill them with air and the tire pressure gage was still on. If I could rate them less than 1 star, I would.

Pretty poor service. I called to make an appointment for tire rotation and oil change. The employee said come now, its not busy so I did. Took 3 hours. On top of it they suggested replacing the air filter. I agreed believing they were talking about the engine air filter. Turns out they also replaced the cabin air filter which wasnt what they said and charged me an additional $150.

Really nice service. Alberto was kind to explain the issue with my shocks and struts.

I was told that it would be an hour wait to replace all 4 tires on my vehicle. After 2 hours and 30 minutes of waiting onsite, I was approached with the first communication since I had sat down in their waiting room. I was told it would be done soon. 15 minutes later I was walking out at a total wait time of 2 hours and 45 minutes for 4 tires to get replaced. Also, this location wasnt busy at all from what I was observing while being there so long.After two days of having the new tires on my vehicle, the ride was smoother and quieter but I could tell that something was off. I ended up taking off the hub caps to find that every single one of them was reinstalled wrong and they were loose as could be. Furthermore, I checked the air pressure in my new tires with my personal compressor and every single tire was off by 5 P.S.I. or more from OEM specifications. (On the high side and low side-no consistency)This was my first experience at Big-O and I couldnt have been more dissatisfied with the experience. I will be going back to the other tire shop Ive used for years with my other 3 vehicles. Even if the tires are far cheaper here, avoid at all costs.

We notice alignment problems while on a long road trip. My husband called the store and they were able to accommodate us even though they were very busy. Friendly, efficient agents. Excellent service. They explained what the service and ensured our questions were answered. We thought the prices were reasonable.

**Please don’t come here. They truly don’t care about you or your car issues. Only to create more issues.My car had issues starting Monday morning. Took it to AutoZone for them to test my battery and my alternator. They said it’s definitely the alternator. The battery was still good. Keep in mind, my car was working just fine prior to it not starting on Monday.I Took it to Big O Tires on 5600 and 3100 In WVC, UT and I always hesitate to go there. But I was desperate and hoping they can honestly tell me what’s wrong with the car and hoping to fix it.After 2 hours of waiting, the Technician and Desk Gentleman told me it would be $1000 before taxes to fix my car. $500 for labor & $500 for a new alternator. He also claimed there were loose wires under the hood, but I’ve never encountered any issues until the Alternator.**I wasn’t expecting $1000. I called around and searched online for prices of an alternator, and they ranged from $150-$280.00.I felt like since I am a female and may not know much about cars, that I was taken advantage of. I was overly quoted.The loose wires under my hood was all new to me. I honestly believe Big O Tires loosened those wires to make a few extra bucks.Luckily I didn’t let them continue work on my Toyota Camry.I will never return here. They’re crooks. They wear their masks under their noses and they do not practice social distancing. They don’t care but to rip people off and make money.

This post isnt related to their work or service which was all great as far as I know so far. My concern is that while most of the service writers that were interfacing with the customers face to face were wearing their masks ... None of them were doing it properly. None of them had the mask over their noses and some barely covered their mouths. If they were truely concerned about the safety and well-being of their customers they would adhere strictly to proper mask wearing recommendations and procedures.

Quick and honest service.

Would give zero stars if I could. Had to get a flat tire fixed and my ties were still under warranty at Big O. Upon walking into the waiting room I noticed that only half the employees were wearing masks and almost all the customers that walked in did not have one on either. I asked why they were not required to be wearing masks and they said its not our job to make them wear a mask I kindly replied that its a state mandate and they just rudely replied we just dont make them do that we dont feel like its our job As an older woman with health problems I will not be going back to Big O ever again because they dont value the health of their employees or staff and while their work on my car was fine their customer service was horrible

The way they treated me and the service they gave me, lets just say, I know if I had pulled in somewhere else that day, I wouldnt of got the help I did! This is THE BEST customer service of any Big O in the valley. I’ve had pretty good experiences at other locAtions, but everything here was top notch, fantastic. Omar Really just went above and beyond.They explained pricing options, which they had a copy printed out and sat down to explain to me. Not just stood at the counter and read off the computer.They got up and opened the door when I came in, and when an elderly lady with a cane came, they helped escort her in from the parking lot safely and held her door too.Quick and attentive, amazing.

I went in for an allignment as my truck would vibrate over anything around 40mph after I had received a tire from a shawty tire place on state.I had dropped my truck off the night before so I was contacted early in the day as to what needed to happen and how much it would cost. $550 for a new bearing along-side the alignment.They failed to inform me that morning, that the tire itself was falling apart. I asked if they could do a payment plan, to which he said yes, then changed his mind I suppose and said I cant leave until its paid in full. I then asked if they could put a new one on when I arrived to pick up my truck and the guy told me that they dont do tires anymore... With the word tire in big yellow letters behind his head.My truck doesnt drive any better than before, and now Im out near $600. Save your time and your money and go elsewhere.

Bad location they make me wait to much to replace my tire under warranty and they ask alot of questions even though I show them the paper warranty I just wait from 3:00 pm to like 5:30

I was very impressed with the gentleman at this Big O location. They made me feel comfortable and even though my bill was on the pricey side of a purchase for me, they explained everything in a way that I could understand. I felt very comfortable paying the price I did for the services provided.I called Big O on Friday night, 1/3/20. I spoke with Alberto and explained that I was driving my little 2001, run around car all the way to Arizona (AZ) and I wanted to make sure everything was okay. I knew I needed 2 new tires (I purchased 2 new tires a few month previous) but I didnt know what else would need to be done to make sure I could get to AZ without any problems. He said, No problem, drop it by in the morning and ask for Alberto. Easy enough!I dropped it by this morning, 1/3/20. All of the staff was very friendly and Alberto checked me in. I asked him to check the belts and hoses and anything else he could think of. A little while later I received a phone call and Alberto told me about the two new tires and the belts that needed to be replaced because they were a little aged with cracks in them, the hoses were good, and my check engine light was the catalytic converter. Yikes! I knew this was not going to be cheap. I asked him if it was something I absolutely needed (Im on a budget!) to make it safe to AZ. He said its hard to say and then he explained how a catalytic converter works in terms that I could understand, me not being a mechanic. Ive always been a fan of educating the customer and that is exactly what Alberto did with me. I told him to go ahead with everything he suggested and I truly felt comfortable with that decision.A few hours later I received a call from Alberto to let me know my car was ready to be picked up. I think it is awesome that they try there best to have the same crew member communicate with you from beginning to end.As my Mother was taking me to pick up my car, she realized she had a small problem with her tire that could become big if not fixed. She has gone to the Big O in Sandy for over a decade but she didnt feel safe driving on the tire to Sandy. When we arrived to this Big O location to pick up my car, I paid my bill and then we explained about her tire. They looked at all of her tires and installed 2 new tires within 1 hour in the late afternoon.We were so impressed with how this team took care of us. I am happy to report that afterwards when I was driving my car it performed a lot better than previous. I dare say i needed that catalytic converter long before the check engine light came on. Thank you to the 5600 west Big O!This is a long review but I felt it was important to let people know how helpful, honest and amazing the team at this Big O location is. I highly recommend them.

Had to put a new set of tires on Monday and Pablo went above and beyond customer service. I highly recommend them. He took the time to not only find me the best buy for my buck but was very helpful and I formative Excellent Experience!!!

They did a pretty decent job for us. Their Healthy Car Checkup is a great price for the value. I think they may have topped off our wiper fluid with just water though... Overall I think I would use them again, as long as I specified that I would top off my own fluids.

Very disappointed.. purchased an alignment package last year, then COVID hit and we were unable to get in to use it. Where as most places are giving extensions on services this store will not work with you. Been going to this Big O for years. Sad to see the human aspect has given way for the dollar. 2 hours waiting on 2 tires I am service tech heating and air I want to say I will never take my cars or trucks here my work truck was to be done today made appointment for it and waited 2 hours to find out they did not get to it when ask I was told they where waiting for approval from company it was my company that made appointment and it was approve 4 hours before I got here wow what a joke

I love this location they are always super helpful and honest! I bring just about all of my issue to them and the price is usually fair. They have recently been renovating and its looking great inside. They know what they are doing and I have yet to have any issues I would recommend trying them out.

I had both of my vehicles in for new tires as the winter season was getting off to an early start. I called earlier in the day to order the tires and made an appointment. I was running late and received a call from the store to confirm I was still coming. Upon arrival they got me in right away. The place was busy and it was a two hour process. No complaints since I didn’t make my appointment time.

The waiting area was very comfortable and inviting. Just needed to do emissions and get tabs. Was in and out in like a half our, and that was only because there were cars ahead of me.

I just wanted to share my great experience I had 7/14/2014 at this location. I was driving through construction on the 201 east bound when my tire pressure sensor went off. I got off at the nearest exit, 5600 W and hit the closest gas station to take a look. My left side rear tire was at 14 lbs (reg. is 34 lbs.) I filled it to 30 lbs with air and then Googled the nearest Big O, it was just about a mile away. I had never been to this Big O location before, but we buy our tires through them and have for years; they just fixed it for free and quickly too! The service team was friendly and willing to help. Id highly recommend this location to anybody! Thanks Big O for getting me and my 3 young children back on the road safely!

Darren up front was excellent and the staff was fast . Tires are reasonably priced which helps. I will say this, take any valuables out of the car and keep with you. Obviously cannot prove and watching cameras shows exterior of car, above all to the guy that got the goods I would fear the karma because what comes around goes around thats the way of the world.
