The selection of candies and nuts figs dates are out of this world. its true they are from A different world the culture is food is amazing Im intrigued every time I go into a Indian market this particular market had kabobs already displayed, in a real butcher in the background of the refrigerated display case that had a lot of different types of cut meat they had quarter and half lambs and beef already ready to buy they make bread a lot of a lot of really unique thanks I was treated well in the price was good for my frosted almond nuts

I got a very good quality lamb with a very good price!! The meat is so fresh! You can find almost all central Asian items here haha

Worse customer service, Hasib young man behind the counter is rude and doesn’t know how to communicate with customers, I recommend the owner to assign someone who can attract customers and they walk out of store with satisfaction, not let them feel bad experience.For the last time I went there thought they may have changed but seems worse than any time.I prefer to drive to Arden area to shop from Afghan stores out there than giving my business to this store.You are not going to get my business anymore but at least bring some changes before going out of business

This place is horrible! Butcher is not professionally trained! His station was very dirty and unhealthy. Most food and products were expired too! Kebab was no good, it was too rough and unappetizing. I do not recommend anyone to go here. There are many more quality Afghan markets in Sacramento.

Very expensive and disorganized. I ordered some kebab, and it was overpriced and tasted awful. Also, the lamb meat I got was full of fat! Overall, not a good experience, Id rather go to a business that that actually provides good service and products.

Walked in and was not happy with my experience. Staff was not very friendly, store was kinda disorganized, and some of their items were expired. not a good sign. They need to improve ASAP.

Im Irish born and white.This store is great. Staff is great and attentive. Prices are awesome.They even do hot food with a call in advance and I got to say its great!They wine me over and Ill be back for sure.

Horrible customer services . Front desk is super young and dont know how to treat customers with respect and the same thing applies for the butcher .Additionally, someone will need to be called to lookup their butcher place. Its not clean at all. They are not considering cleaning it at all . I wonder why would health department even allow them to operate with that kind of butcher place . Its extremely dirty and not sanitized at all .

This is a good Middle Eastern shopping options at this place including dates pomegranate meats nuts and baklava. They can cook kebab if youre willing to wait for the cook time of twenty five minutes. Easy to spot location from the street. There are Afghan flags throughout the store and many Indian products as well.

Here Im writing about Salam market, Salam market has variety of groceries, eastern and western food and dried fruits which i usually purchase of those, I usually go there at the beginning of the month for purchasing a quite enough amount of groceries specially fresh meat to complete ours kitchens need, and some times I go there twice or more than. The reason I choose it or I go there is, it has our favorite food or groceries with reasonable and fair prices with a very nice customer services, so I recommend it for every one around and so.

Told me bread would be ready at 8:15... I leave work and go in at 8:30 and am told itll be ready in 10 minutes... Yeah, I had to go back to work. Id give them a lower rating just out of frustration. But it really is a decent place with decent bread and workers.

For some stupid reason, this store doesnt check on its products. Found some expired product which was about a month or two old. Cleanliness is okay. Would not say this is a diverse store coz they mostly sell products which are from Afghanistan (or some other Arabian country). Cashiers are kids who only say either YES or NO unless you talk to an adult. Overall, it is a fine store except a few negatives.
