Now that the weather is changing and the temperatures🌡️ are colder we discovered that we needed weather tape to insulate the water pipes underneath our home. Most employees are helpful and very nice. Its easy to go in and get what you need and get checked out fast. Most are fast checking you out and bagging it. I only say most because every once in a while you get person who is not same as any store. They will help you with your ace rewards or coupons so its cheaper for you when possible.

We did plumbing at my girlfriends house and ended up going to this Ace 3 times this weekend. Every time, when I got back, I was told I got the perfect part. Erin helped last time and we now have running water. Thank you. I always love a helpful sales associate.

Really like this hardware store. It has alot more stuff than nuts and bolts. I buy a lot of my cleaning supplies there. Paint, glue, plumbing, tools, garden, and pet supplies. They gave grills and much more! People are very friendly and helpful. Make this a for sure stop, you cant beat it!

I usually have a good experience here but recently I visited and my cashier was not polite at all. Erin huffed and puffed and acted like she literally couldn’t stand to interact with me. I understand that every one is a bit out of spirits at this time but it hit me as rude. Cashiers should be more friendly.

They greet you at the door& ask if you would need help locating what you need. They will take you to the products and help you get what you need. Great service.

Made an order online which wasnt ready by the time i got into town (I live pretty far out). I called and spoke to the manager, Wyatt, who was SO GREAT! He went and got my items together (there were really only a few but still) and my order was ready for pick.up and I was able to get on my way back home, withlit any wait! They do NOT seem to have any dedicated spaces for curbside pickup, but I pulled up to the front and they brought out my stuff out so it was no problem. Great experience and good to know it is an option for getting those sorts of things safely!! Thanks Wyatt!!! Will definitely go back!

Couldnt find what I was looking for here even though I checked on line to make sure they had it before driving 25 miles to find it. The associate at the checkout went above and beyond to accommodate me, offering to look it up and talked with others to get help, even though he had other customers waiting. When all else failed he offered to order it for me and kept apologizing. Wish I could recall his name. He did a great job! Also I had never been here before and was quite delighted to find the variety in their products!

The store is not being restocked as well as it once was. There are many things they simply dont have on the shelves. They will offer to do a special order. The problem is when youre doing a weekend project you dont want to hear that some basic materials are now special order. I was told that nails for landscaping Timbers would have to be a special order since they were out of stock. I never got a call that my order came in. There are some very good helpful people there who can give very good advice on doing projects. Unfortunately there are a few who simply dont care. My last visit involved asking where an item was and the person I ask rolled their eyes and proceeded to take me to the wrong section of the store. And then they gave me we need to special order that item. I walked three aisles over and found the item I wanted. My only other issue are the prices on some of the items in the store. An item that shows being $6.99 on the ace website is $7.99 in the West Plains store. Another complaint about pricing is that many items have no pricing on the Shelf.

I bought a y-adapter and a inline cut-off valve in April 2020. They have failed causing water damage to a already damaged mobile home floor. These devices should have lasted much longer. Im very angry that I spent about $20 for parts that failed so quickly. We simply dont have the funds to waste on products that only profit some corporation. I dont intend to buy anything from Ace Hardware again. We make maybe $20k/yr and Ace can sell their junk to folks with bigger bank.

Its no Lowes or large box store but if you catch sales you can get a great deal. This is more of a convenience location. Its saves the 40+ Mike drive to the larger box stores in the larger towns if you just need a few parts for small projects. The extra price you pay for the products still saves you in what you save in gas in those situations. They are always very helpful and always seem to have what I need even for such a small store.

They have a wide variety of home/construction tools and materials. The aisles are well labeled, and the store is clean. However, the reason this store is a 5-star is because of the staff. There will always be a few bad eggs, but most of the staff here are very attentive and helpful. It really makes the difference.

Always find stuff you cant get at other stores

We do quite a bit of business here. Their prices may be a bit higher, but they send out coupons in the mail and you can earn money for so much money spent. The employees are extremely helpful. Im almost always greeted at the door and asked if I need help while I roaming the aisles. It is a clean establishment, well stocked and pleasant to shop at.

I walked in the store and was greeted immediately. The woman asked if I needed help. I needed black pipe. She directed me to the right area and had someone meet me. She found the pipe. A man cut it for me. Everyone was so friendly.
