After hanging out for 15 minutes in the percussion section without anyone being there to help me, I walked out to the front and asked the three people sitting down if anyone could help me in percussion. They all looked confused and there was an awkward silence. Then, one of them said to the other two, do you think Jeff could help him? Again, another awkward silence. Then one of them muttered, “where is Jeff? We can never find him.” They then said “we will find someone to help you.” I walked back into the percussion section for another five minutes and still no one to assist. I finally had enough waiting around and walked out. On my way out, the three people I had asked to help me where yet again sitting at the front door. Is this what business has become? No attempt to assist me or ask me if there was something they could do. I had a very simple question. Will definitely be taking my business elsewhere!

Fantastic experience.I was expecting the typical pretentious music store clerks, but was pleasantly wrong.They led us what we needed, a travel case for my daughters bass, and did not try to upsell us at all.They answered all our questions and did not hover over us as we looked at the bass collection they had to offer.Absolutely buying my daughter her new bass for Christmas there.Exceptional store and staff.Do not hesitate to go shopping there.
I wish more people in retail cared about their job as much as Alan in the piano department here. I bought a Yamaha P45 88-Key Weighted Action piano for a great deal! Alan was helpful the whole time and was very engaging to talk with. Alan even helped me pack the piano into my car. Will definitely be coming back and looking into the Piano lessons he told me about. More people should aspire to be like Alan at work and in life!

Went in this afternoon to look at various low-end guitars and amps; live in apt. with neighbors on both sides-so needed to be pretty quiet-but i also wanted clear & crisp- LOL --i wanted EVERYTHING! Got Sales-rep MIKE-he was fantastic-super helpful and super knowledgeable; i saw the Squier Combo-Pack by the door and thought-Right-how good could that be?- Mike explained the qualities of it-as I considered various separate guitars and amps; he really could have sold me UP easily, but he was very honest and told me ups & downs of many items- I ended up with that Squier Combo Pack and am DELIGHTED with it! That teeny-tiny amp actually has almost too much power for my little apt.!!! Its truly perfect! Mike also helped with my selection of a set of headphones-I ended up spending more on them than intended-but he said he has them and they are super comfy-so much so that he sometimes falls asleep with them on-I said-Ill take them! Thank you MIKE-and thank you Guitar Center for a really nice combo package-Im still surprised at the QUALITY of this Combo Pack! WELL DONE!
I went in looking for a guitar as a beginner but they didnt seem very helpful. I wanted to get advice from people who knew what they were talking about but because they thought the amount of money I wanted to spend on a guitar was too low, they barely gave me much attention or advice on what I should look for in a new guitar... I explained the money isnt the issue, I can save up and come back to purchase a guitar. I just needed guidance on what to buy. The store representative just walked around twice and said something along the lines of none of these are in your budget I left, looked up a beginner guitar and bought it on Amazon. And yes it was outside my initial budget

Store was laid out really really well. However I was not too pleased with the service. Im standing in front of a guy waiting while he talks to someone on the phone. All he had to do was ask me quickly what I needed (a simple cord) but he preceeded to speak to that customer on the phone the whole time while I waited. Poor customer service for sure

After the second day visiting the store looking to buy some percussion equipment I cant help but to feel a bit down and disappointed mainly with the staff. They seem to be in a rush yet not doing much...store wasnt even that busy ( i was there around 10:30 - 11am so you can imagine how busy they really were when they open @ 10. anyways Steve tried to work with me but NOT REALLY because I had to wait for him the previous day twice with no results and today after I settle in a bongos set and other stuff he could not give me a discount on a floor model aka open box... newsflash Steve I didnt feel like involving a manager because how busy you guys were or you wouldve pulled I am the manager stunt maybe but all I wanted a 10 or 15 points off that was all and you know you shouldve looked out I dont care how new it looked it was touched and again open box and overall service subpar. Was there to spend and you missed on biz and future visits superstar. Guy back there fixing the guitars i see you no different than the rest of the pack btw. #wolfpack but no worrie$
I went to the Guitar Center to learn how to properly put strings into locking tuners. Jeff the salesman was very helpful in properly putting strings in locking tuners. The sale people here are very knowledgeable of guitars, and helpful in setting your guitar correctly.
Avoid the long hair man. if you drop off your guitar here for a repair, you will most likely never see it again.

My best friend just landed and said take me to Guitar Center! I thought he was joking. We went in and got a great deal on an electric guitar. Im now challenged by him to learn how to play the guitar. Its a fun place to meet other musicians of all levels who are learning a new instrument or making sure that they upgrade. It seems the Guitar Center is a hang out for artists and DJs so Im very interested in keeping myself in the mix.
Great selection of drums and guitars. The Coconut Creek guitar center were closed and this is the closest one in the area opened. Drum master in the back room is very knowledgeable and help me go through all the vdrum models to find my next set :-)

Good people in this place. Just helped a friend purchase a guitar there and the staff was courteous and helpful. Just be mindful that they can only let so many people in the store at one time. So you may have to wait to get into the store but is understandable in this time.

Poor customer service. Wanted a fair valuation of a guitar I wanted to sell/trade, after a very low ball and insulting offer, I politely suggested increasing offer by $30.00. Sales rep suggested Id be better off trying my luck on Reverb (which they deemed it as a overpriced site for gears) in a condescending tone. This was a same branded guitar they were selling used on their website 2 weeks ago for $259.00, but sold. Wont be going back there again.

Been going here for 10+ years. I’d typically be there every couple of weeks for drum sticks. Last time I was looking at two different pairs to buy and the mean bald guy came back telling me not to touch any equipment including sticks. I’m respectful of COVID guidelines but that is ridiculous. Customer service has always been lacking there and the place is always a disorganized mess. Buy your stuff on sweetwater instead.
I have been buying gears here for years and have spent thousands of dollars in this specific store. Lately every time I go to buy something they try to give me the DEMO VERSION. the staff and the management they all do the same. Its a shame because the place is fantastic

This was the most aggravating experience Ive ever had at a retail store. I waited 50 min for someone to help in the drum department (asked for help twice). Finally went back to the front of the store for a third time, and the salesmen was clueless, and had an attitude. Never going there again. Plus they lost out on close to a thousand dollars worth of sales (not to mention future sales). Worst music store experience ever!

Do your homework and price compare before you do business with the West Palm Beach store. They are very sales driven and tend to exploit the inexperienced buyer. Except for small purchases I deal with other local and out of state music stores.Sad but true.

I had a horrible experience with a salesman called Steve. I’ve driven 45 minutes north to buy new equipments and an electric guitar. First thing I was told when I walked in was that I wouldn’t be allow touch any guitar and if I wanted to walk around only (I was Shopping) I could look at the instruments but NO TOUCH because everything is hand sanitizer. Then, because my mask went down below my nose a bit he said to me in a VERY rude way to cover up my nose or GET OUT of the store. So I was kick out of there only a couple mins of being there. Very Bad experience and and disgusting service..no planning to do business with this store any longer.

I dont know if I visited on an important date but the place was filled which I liked because I didnt want to be shopping alone. The staff was very nice and helpful and the noise was really high due to a customer playing the drums. They had the most recognized brands but did not have the one I was looking for because they are not commonly used in the USA. They had many suggestions on alternatives and many other customers also jumped in to help which shows you how nice the community is. The place was really huge and was not expecting so much room. It was a bit dark because when I finally left the sun burnt my eyes.
Went with every intention to purchase a new drum set. $2500 budget. Stood around for over 40 minutes and asked 2 employees for assistance, wasnt even busy...Never got it. Wont be going back. I can see now why Amazon is killing all of these retail stores.
I am a professional DJ. I visited this store right after thanks giving to purchase an headphone jack which they had. service was quick. But the staff were so amazing they set up the amplifier and sound system room so I could demo equipment they had. very knowledgeable and patient. treated me as if I was a king. no pressure to purchase just guys that know and love music. I will be back.
Well my son is a musician and he simply loves that store. We go there every few weeks so he can pay the instruments and I know that way what he likes so I can buy him instruments when Christmas comes or his bday. Great place lots to do definitely check out.
Nice place to check out equipment. Its good to know they are a national chain and have a great website. So, if you dont find what you need at the store you can place the order online. Chris has been very helpful, and so has the manager.

I took my son in there today with an extremely old electric guitar. The strings needed to be changed out. I was so embarrassed because they were corroded and stuck in the guitar. Thank goodness Mike helped us get the strings out. It took him about maybe 30 minutes of battling this guitar to get those strings out of there but he did get the job done. He then proceeded to restring the guitar for my son and then he tuned it. After that, Anthony, gave my son a free 15 minutes lesson just to see if he had the will and ability to play the guitar. He came out and told me that my son was a natural oh, of course making me feel extremely proud of my son, and that he would be more than happy to teach my son how to play guitar. Both men were extremely wonderful. Mike would not give up on getting the strings out of that old guitar and getting it really strong and I cannot thank him enough. Anthony did not have to take time out of his day to sit with my son and tell him what it took, how much of a commitment it would be to learn how to play that instrument. Since our visit to Guitar Center today my son has not put his guitar down except to eat dinner and then he was back on it practicing. I of course and the static because I would love for my son to know how to play an instrument and I have Mike and Anthony at Guitar Center to thank forgiving my son the courage to take a chance and made him believe in himself that he could do this.
