I was in West Palm Beach, FL on official business when my computer malfunctioned on a Friday night (no sound after a Windows 10 update). Im computer savvy, so I assumed Id solve the issue. I spent hours researching the internet for a solution. I actually fell asleep working on the computer. The next day (Saturday) I took my computer to Experimax at 100 Sansburys Way STE 118, West Palm Beach, FL 33411. Theyre one of only a handful of stores open on a Saturday. The computer tech, and I hate that I didnt get his name, fixed the issue in seconds. Seriously. Less than a minute! But the biggest surprise is that he didnt charge me! Thats right, he fixed my issue for free! After thanking him, I tried to buy him and the staff dinner or at least, coffee. They refused. I never write reviews but I felt it necessary to show appreciation for not only great customer service, but also technical expertise. Thank you Experimax. Ill be a human billboard for your company.

Inventory for all price points, and a great selection. They also buy your used apple products if you wanted to sell the in person route. Today was not a good day, woke up to early and the spilled my coffee on my computer!I went into Experimax to see if there was any hope for my old mac, and how much to get it fixed, if possible. Went to get my laptop repaired and it was a simple fix. In and out in five minutes, didn’t even get charged. Truly an excellent organization. If I’d gone to the Apple store I’d have probably spent $200. Going here for all my repairs from now on!

Recently I had a laptop that out of know where started to act crazy. On its own, multiple windows would open and close. So the natural thing I thought of was maybe I have a virus. So I ran all my virus protection including Malware and it still acted crazy. I asked an I.T. guy for assistance and he did his thing and told me the computer was shot and to buy a new one. To me, that was devastating as this was a new computer. The last thing I wanted to do was buy a new computer.I ended up hopping on Yelp, went into the search area, and had it send my issue out to vendors on the site. In a short time, they responded back to me, started the dialogue, and told me what the issue would be. He broke it down in simple and easy steps. When I followed it, it was exactly what he said it would be, a bad screen. Based on that, I told him to order me a screen.When the screen came in, I was called by the technician. At the store, the tech greeted me, told me he would have the computer fixed the following day. Which is exactly what he did do.Overall I am impressed by the business and the willingness to diagnose an issue without me even giving them a cent. They were fast, gave me a warranty, and I will certainly use them in the future if the need ever arises.

Given some of their previous reviews in regard to computers, I was a tad hesitant on coming here.To begin, their customer service felt excellent. Everyone was super friendly.I love how they give a QR code that you can check that tells you where they are on your specific device.I took my 2017 Macbook Pro in to receive a new backlight.Their prices are fair and respectable.I also found out that while they are not Apple Certified, Apple has gone to them in the past asking if they would like to be. Although this could make them more trustworthy, they declined the offer as it would restrict their scope/price ability.Bottom Line:I would most definitely come here for a repair again before an Apple Store (Assuming I did not pay for Apple Care).Both Shelby and Brandon (The two/three I interacted with) were both very friendly. Shelby is clearly knowledgeable in this field.

So my daughters IPhone would only show the Apple logo for over a week. We went to the Boost mobile store where we purchased it and was told to try the Apple store. We called to see which one is opened due to Covid19 there were no stores opened. We call the customer service # and was emailed the steps to restart the phone, well that was a bust😒 Then a family member told us about Experimax and I sure am glad she did. Brandon who helped us right away knew what the problem was a solved it in 20 mins. And how about he did not charge us! I highly recommend you try this place out for yoy phone needs!

Do not go here, I decided to drop off my MacBook Pro at Experimax to repair the display that was damaged because apple had over a week wait for the a Genius Bar appointment and Experimax promised it would take 3-4 days.After waiting nearly 2 weeks they returned a MacBook that had a low quality 3rd party screen that was dim and cloudy in comparison to the original.After expressing my disappointment and frustration to Josh the manager and explaining that I had felt misled, the only remedy he offered was replacing it with a screen that they would remove from a used MacBook that they had for sell in the store which had signs of wear and scratches.In summary go to Apple, this was a nightmare I ended up waiting twice as long as I would have if I went to apple and paid $500 for a used screen, apple would have replaced it with new first party parts for the same...I am extremely disappointed and will leave this review everywhere that I can.

I have been going to Experimac for several years now and had multiple phones repaired, fixed, etc. Everyone has always been so extremely helpful, they are knowledgeable and very polite. When you call with follow up questions, etc. they are always eager to help and walk you through. Todays experience was fantastic. We received help from Shelby Johnson and his helpfulness was completely over the top. He assisted us with my fathers phone and was very knowledgeable and went over and above to help us get his issues all sorted out. We are extremely grateful. Experimacs prices are very reasonable and for the service alone I will always continue to recommend friends and family to them because they know what they are doing. :)

I had an incredible experience here! My 2011 imac had technical difficulties with the led screen after I replaced the hard drive myself when the hard drive crashed. I wasnt able to identify the problem as my os wasnt installed and the screen was black. I brought it in and 40 minutes later Im walking out the shop with my imac working and a new operating service installed! Absolutely incredible! Highly reccomend their services. Shelby resolved my computer problems quickly, profesionally, and with expertise. Fix your old imacs and enjoy your products!

I just want to share how wonderful my experience was at their store today. I had just received an IPAD PRO for my birthday and was trying to set up my password and some how I locked myself out. I was very upset so I explained to John at the store what I had done. Needles to say by this point I was very upset with myself and thought I had messed up my Pad that I had wanted for a few years now. John was so sweet he assured me it was not a big deal, so within a very short time he reset it for me at no charge. I have been using Experimac for years for both my familys and works phones, tablets, and computers. I trust them with all my Apple products, which literally hold my personal and professional life. I drive over an hour to use Experimac because they are the only ones I trust for such valuable property. They dont charge until it is fixed (unlike other companies). They stand behind their work, and work until the customer is satisfied. They go WAY above and beyond for their customers, especially Shelby.

Very pleasant staff, but very disappointing experience. I dont know if they just dont know much about Chrome books (the store is full of Macs), but when my daughters keyboard stopped working right they kept if for a few days and then called to say there was nothing wrong, it just needed to be rebooted. I scratched my head a bit, but we took it home. It worked correctly for a day and then the exact same thing happened again. A quick google search found that this is a common problem with Chrome books, and I just need to open the back and check one connection that gets loose.Im very happy they didnt charge me for a misdiagnosis, but it would have been nice if they had done a little research and fixed the problem.

Experimar rescued my phone for the second time on Friday!! I went walking and it started to rain. Mu Phone got wet and it was not backed up. I had all of my work information in notes and pictures oni it, none of it backed up. So much to lose. They took the iphone replaced the screen and dried out the inside. My technician Mike fixed my daughters computer within 20 minutes while I waited and explained every step to me. He suggested free malware and did all that without charging me anything! Friendly! Ive been proudly coming to Experimac for many years. In that time, I’ve purchased numerous desktop and laptop computers for my office, and more recently, 3 laptops for my family. Ive always had wonderful experiences with most of their staff, but especially, with staff members whose names ironically begin with the letter, “J”. Most recently, having nothing to do with Experimac, one of the computers I purchased from them over 1.5 years ago started to get glitchy (kernel errors, random shutdowns, etc.). My 16-year-old daughter was distraught with the problems she was having. I knew Experimac was under no obligation to work on my machine under warranty, but I also knew their character. As such, I brought the laptop back to them for help anyway. As expected, the folks at Experimac refused to give up on our issues. We went through the process of elimination a couple of times until Joe finally got a hold of the machine. We’ve now had the machine for 2 weeks without a single glitch, and my daughter is smiling again. That in itself makes this Dad extremely happy.
