Tommy is nice and patient when you’re trying to decide which boat you want so helpful with every single thing that was added to the boat. We really had a terrific experience with Tommy and Marine Connection overall. They are such a pleasure To work with in the boat purchasing process. Then at the end of everything when we picked up our boat we had the pleasure of meeting Robert. Robert took us out on our first ride told us everything from the top to the bottom to the radio to the GPS he was very very helpful. I can’t say enough positive things about Jess Somero and his team at Marine Connection. They are all just a first-class operation. I had Jess work with me in building my COBIA 320 and the experience was above and beyond excellent. The process was so calm and simple. No pressure. No timeline deadlines. Nothing, but “what can we do for you to make your boat build better than you expected” and that’s exactly how it turned out. I asked for so much additional stuff to be added or modified to the boat and the answer always came back with “we will take care of it” and if the factory would not do it, Marine Connection WILL get it done. I was kept in loop as to the build start date and end date along with progress photos. Jess at Marine Connection offered to purchase items such as the Phantom Radar that the factory will not supply as standard along with FLIR, TACO GSM 500 outriggers with Carbon Fiber Poles and many other items and then had the factory install some of those items for me at no charge and never asked me to pay for those items upfront. When the boat arrived at Marine Connection, they continued to install other items such as additional subwoofers for me and other items such as plumbing both motors to a single water inlet on the stern to flush each motor, 8’ antenna mount, electrical outlets for electric reels and more. Nothing was ever a big deal or too much and I felt like I constantly asked for something hoping they would not tire from my requests and they never did. Jess even arranged to have my boat driven to Riviera Beach to be ceramic coated and then picked it up for me 10 days later. He never even hesitated or charged me. They accommodated other vendors such as Altrax who installed my alarm along with SeaDeck for the decking install that I did after the build. Once I came down for my orientation ride, I met up with Timo, operations, who had done the sea trial with me when I first got serious about the boat purchase and that experience was excellent. He is a book of knowledge and experience and so helpful. Again, even with Timo, nothing was ever rushed or skipped over. He went over everything. He would have stayed on the water with me all day if that’s what made me comfortable. If you are going to buy a boat, do yourself a favor and please give Jess Somero a call at Marine Connection before you sign on the dotted line elsewhere. This dealership is a first-class operation. One of my most important elements of buying a boat and spending a serious amount of money, at least for me, was how I will be treated and taken care of after the sale and specifically warranty items. A couple of items that have popped up already have been taken care of right away with no issues. What a pleasure. Thank you Jess, Timo and the entire marine connection team. I called about a boat that I saw advertised on Boat Trader. I live about two hours away so I decided to try and negotiate a price before making the trip. I put in an offer and the salesman said he would contact the owner and call me the next day. After a couple of days with no call back, I decided to call. I called back five times in three days, leaving messages and getting no return calls. I finally called and told the person on the phone what I had been through and told him I just wanted to speak with anyone who would sell me the boat. They got me on the phone with the salesman that was supposed to call me back. He sent videos, we negotiated a price, he said it would take two weeks to have the systems checked and have the boat detailed. I gave him a debit card number and he took a $1,000.00 deposit. Im ready for my sea trial this Thursday and to take delivery this Friday as agreed. Yesterday I get a call from the salesman saying the owner of the boat is going through some personal issues and no longer wants to sell the boat. Any responsible company would have had a consignment contract with their consigner. Not only have I wasted my time lining up storage and insurance for this boat, I have gotten my family excited about the boat we were going to be owning. I would recommend anyone interested in any of their boats to run, dont look back! I am certain that Im not getting the real story from these people. The lack of professionalism is staggering and quite honestly disgusting!

The time to review is after you have had your boat long enough to know how the dealer is really going to take care of you. It has been almost 2 years now. Everything I have done with Marine Connection of West Palm Beach has been above any beyond the call of duty. Very good dealer and very good peoble to deal with. I recomend them 100%.

RON AND HIS TEAM WERE GREAT. Full stop. They treated us like we were spending millions. My wife and I were looking to buy our first boat and it would have been so easy to have taken advantage of our lack of familiarity with new/used boats. The boat we aoriginally wanted was sold before we could move o. It so we asked Ron to show us so.ethi g I. Our price range. We fell in Love with the first boat he showed us. A gently used 22 foot Hurricane Sundeck. We were ready to take the boat right then and there but Ron insisted on letting him clean it up first. Apparently it had just been traded in that morning. Ron Replaced all the speakers and lights. The boat was cleaned and waxed and on the day of delivery they went down to the boat ramp with us and gave us a live walk through. They even went out with us to make sure we had a good understanding how she handles. I would never buy a boat from anywhere else. These guys were the best. Ron even answers text messages on Labor dayweekend (as I write this review from the captains chair off Peanut Island).

I saw a couple preowned boats Marine Connection had listed on their website. We stopped by not knowing that the boat yard was closed on a Monday. Timo was kind enough to show us the boats we had seen on their website and then suggested one other boat they had just got in. That was the exact boat I had been looking for. By Thursday afternoon, I was driving off the lot with my new boat. Everyone we worked with was fantastic. Great place - great people. Highly recommend.

I cant speak highly enough of Marine Connection and my experience with Jess Somero and his team. I found Jess listing for a 2021 Cobia 280 cc online while I was in Marathon with my 2014 Cobia 217. I called him, found out it was Jess personal boat, and after 10 minutes we worked out a plan for me to trailer my 217 to MC in West Palm with the intent of trading-in for the 280.The sales and negotiation process could not have been more seamless. The price Jess offered me for my 217 was exactly what I was looking for. There was one back and forth on the price for his 280 and we had a deal subject to a short sea trial and overview of the 280s systems with Timo (who also could not have been better to work with btw as he was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable).The thing that speaks to the level of customer service and care MC provided however came after my purchase. I enjoyed the boat back in Marathon for the next two weeks.Then, as I was trailering back to Orlando, the trailer had a blowout at 3pm on a Sunday while driving through construction on the Turnpike in Miami.Neither BoatUS or the Highway Patrol could locate a roadside service who could deliver a tire to me or tow it off the side of the Turnpike on a Sunday afternoon. After sitting on the side of the road for 4 hours and exhausting all options, I reached out to Jess to see if he had any ideas for me.Jess knew they had spare tires of this size in their shop in West Palm. He had one of his team members go pick one up, drive an hour and 15 minutes to me and change the tires out. At this point it was 8:30 on a Sunday night. I was then and am still blown away that they did that. They were a godsend b/c both BoatUS and the FL HWP had told me my only option was to leave it by the side of the TP until morning when more tire shops would be open that might have the size I needed.B/c of Marine Connection, I didnt have to leave my brand new to me 2021 280 on the side of the highway in the middle of Miami.

I bought my Sportsman 212 back in December and the salesman Jess made the process super easy and fun. It was time to take the boat in for its standard 20hr service and I wanted to add a power outlet for a swordfish setup. I was really impressed with Alex’s attention to detail. He called me 3-4 times to let me know where and how they were going to install it and if I approved. It’s nice to know that everything is being done right and how I would like it. Whenever I need anything added to my boat or service to my engines I always take it to Marine Connection.

I have been boating for over 45 years and to give an idea how much we like working with them, we live in Orlando, and I would rather trailer my boat down Palm Beach (3hrs drive) to have work done there under Dan and Cindy direction then go anywhere else. I know when I drop it off its in good hands and when I pick it up the work is solid and complete and if I have any questions they are there to answer.I picked up the boat today, not only did they do the work I was looking for, but Dan took the extra time to not only wash, but he waxed the boat for me. Dan,Id like to start off by saying that this Email is way overdue. In May of 2019 I purchased a Blackfin 272 CC from another dealer. At least It started off well but that ended quickly. Without further details, shortly after the sale, I approached Marine Connection of WPB that happened to sell Blackfin Boats also. I had explained to the staff my experience and asked if I could use Marine Connection for warranty and service. Great people, great service and a great boat. Ron Lees is great to deal with. Unlike most people in todays world Ron is responsive, attentive and does what he says he will do. Throughout my boat buying experience he was on top of everything and would even come back to me after hours and on his days off. The great experience did not end with Ron. Timo demoed the boat, went over every single item and was sure that every little detail was taken care of. Lastly, Nick drove the boat across the state, showed up right on time, was sure that everything was good before he heading back to the store. I just purchased my boat from the West Palm location. They had a good selection of boats and everything was kept neat and clean. I dealt with Tommy who was great from start to finish in the buying process. He was very knowledgeable, straight up, and friendly to deal with. Buying a boat can be a daunting task. We knew we wanted a sportsman in the 23-25 foot range but hadn’t settled on any particular model. We went to West Palm Marine connection for a general inquiry and spoke with Mr. Ron Lees. Ron asked about our experience with boats (several years but decades ago) and how we would be using the boat (combination of pleasure boating and fishing). He suggested we set up an appointment to take one on the water to get a better idea and recommended an Open 242. We made the appointment and over the next few weeks considered our conversation with Ron.During the test ride it was even more evident that we were on the right track, thanks to Ron. Since then my wife and I have both commented on how Ron’s knowledge and experience with boats and customers guided us to choose the boat that is right for us. There was never any pressure to buy, only sound advice about considering what we were looking for and how that translated to a watercraft that was perfect for us.We ordered the boat in the midst of the COVID situation and, despite interruption in manufacture due to a brief shutdown, things went extremely smooth and Ron kept us informed throughout the whole process. When we picked up the boat several weeks later, Ron hooked us up! We had anticipated having to purchase several hundred dollars worth of gear but that was unnecessary as he had already arranged for all that was needed. When he left us for the day we had confidence that we knew the boat and engine.
