Well I’ll start from the beginning I had bought a Cobra Jet setup from a different shop. Which included basically everything you needed. Upon having my shop install everything it turned out I had gotten a faulty VMP throttle body. My shop then reached out to Power By The Hour and from the start Frank took care of us. Frank made sure I got my new throttle body and JMS box as soon possible to get my car back on the road. He was very detailed with shipping and location of the items. Power by the hour is very professional and friendly that’s hard to find these days. If I could give them more stars I would. I will definitely be using these guys again. Frank thank you !

I was fortunate to find these guys and gals on a search. I asked a few questions regarding my upcoming 02 Coyote swap. I was pleased with a response and will be getting as much as I can from PBH. Im in CA so itll be a CARB legal street/track car and although not able to do a bunch of mods I will be using their goods and information to get the job done.Not many businesss will return random questions in a timely manner (or ever) so I was very satisfied with Franks message. Love the PBH show on Wednesdays and will surely keep them abreast on my conversion.Looking forward to the future...Thanks

These guys have a lot of info and put some time and research into there products. I purchased a lot of items per advice of my salesman who either didn’t listen or didn’t know what I needed. After the install and a lot of waisted time and headaches from having the wrong parts I called and talked to frank who realized the other franks mistake and did the best he could to fix it. Frank sold me not only the wrong parts but parts I didn’t even need. I got my money back but between the cost of time and shipping it was a mistake that cost me a couple grand at least. I had to have my car towed home because the shop didn’t have time to finish the job since I had the wrong parts. Like I said at least I got the money back for the parts. Since then I have had problems finishing the car and have sent emails to them about it and no answer. I really have mixed feelings about this company. I do feel like if I had gotten anyone other thank frank( # 2 on the company directory to talk to your salesman) it would ha e been a totally different experience.UpdateThese guys have gone out of there way to make things right with me. I mean over and Beyond what could have been done. They are very busy and sometimes I slip through the cracks or just takes him a minute to get around to you. I really cant express how happy I am dealing with the sales team at PBH. They are polite, professional, and know what they are doing! I recently purchased a 4r200 hub and was recently in a bind for a front pump. These guys went above and beyond to get me handled and were able to build and overnight it to me. You guys are the best! I ordered their speed drive system and the next day changed my mind because I had a feeling it was not going to fit in my F-100. I emailed the next day and requested that certain items be cancelled, I was contacted by Frank Perdomo and he replied asking why I Was wanting to cancel my order I told him I thought I was going to have clearance issues and wanted to wait until I got home to check some numbers for clearance and I was going to be outside their 30 day return window since I was out of the country. After two emails where I said I wanted to cancel they just stopped responding back to me and shipped the parts anyway, now I have their stuff and like I thought it does not fit and paying shipping and a 20% restocking fee after requesting within a day of placing the order is just crazy since they could have just stopped the order now I am stuck with$1000 worth of stuff I can’t use and have to go buy something that will work for my application. Side note this is not the first time that Frank just stopped responding to my emails, I guess he is so busy with his podcast he can’t return emails.

Stay away from this shop. People are rude and unprofessional.

Purchased a used boss 302 motor from power by the hour. Told them the engine is going in my car with a vmp gen3r blower. After checking 2 boss motors out that had low compression and leaky valves and i told them no, the motor has to be solid and ready to go. They found a 3rd one that supposedly had 180-190 psi on all cylinders and the leakdown test turned out good. I purchased the motor and had it installed. The motor is smoking all over the place and will burn half a qt of oil in 80 miles driving. Do NOT buy a used motor from these guys.

This is the only place to go for coyote swap parts/knowledge! Always answer questions regardless of purchasing parts or not. This is how all parts/service companies should be.

Stopped by PBH today to see Id they can meet my needs for my build and immediately was helped. What sold me on the business was the tour of the shop and current vehicles they were working on. That was the nail in the coffin for them to get my business. Staff also friendly and knowledgeable.

We took my sons perfectly running 2014 mustang gt to these guys and they installed a procharger system. The day he got the car back it was not running properly and never did run right after the installation. We ended up getting rid of the car after a few weeks.

Stay away!! The shop isn’t the same as it used to be, they had my car for 3.5 months and all they had to do was replace a wiring harness, first they tried to tune the car, it was the worst tune I’ve ever seen I removed it immediately and put my old tune back on, then they half completed the job of installing the wiring harness and I had to get the car out of there and have my mechanic finish and fix everything, they left my wheel wells unclipped in, shift light dangling on the engine bay, relay boxes loose and dangling, wires under the car dangling, didn’t bolt the ecu down properly, and this was after the 3rd time they told me it was ready and I had to go down there over an hour away from my house to pick it up, the first time they told me it was ready it wouldn’t leave the parking lot. Asked for a partial refund and they told me no, so I am now disputing it with the bank, I suggest you use a credit card with these guys because unless your car is bone stock and your getting bolt ons put on (in that case you don’t need to be at a tuning shop for that), they are too lazy to or seriously don’t know what they are doing. STAY AWAY, honestly this has been the worst shop I’ve ever had to deal with ever, and I’ve been to some shady and shotty shops in Florida. Go to palm beach dyno for tuning they are way more professional and they tune the car right in front of you, none of this BS remote tuning where they get things confused and tell jon lund the wrong parts and parameters when he goes to tune your car, my car barely drove and would shut off, or go to thunder performance if you need bolt ons put on your car. Steer clear from PBTH! Honestly.

Great service, great advice and great pricing

I attempted BBK header install on my own. Got half way though and couldnt get two bolts in the back part of the manifold. Also could not get the 3rd bolt off the starter. Put the stock header back on and reassembled the car. As soon as I started it I had an exhaust leak and smoke started coming up. Called PBH, Steeda, and one other shop. Pezzo was very helpful and took the car in the next day even with the current work load they had. They were slightly more expensive, not much, but I was in a pinch as this is my daily driver. They installed the BBK Header and even fixed one of the bolts that I had snapped on the Boss 302 manifold. All in all a very good experience. They seemed to be very knowledgeable and helpful and Pezzo was very cool to deal with. I would recommend them and use them again.
