Always great service and a great selection. The only reason they loose a star is the lack of pricing on items. I had to as for a price on 3 separate products. Its not a big gripe. Just worthy of losing the star. Ill still happily continue to be a patron of this lovely establishment. Its where I get all my smoking and grilling supplies.

If you want a small-town friendly customer-service experience in a hardware store, need commonly-found hardware/tools, and live in West Lafayette, I highly recommend you go to the Ace Hardware for your hardware needs.The size of the store gives it a cozy feeling and does not tire you out at just the thought of having to walk through a football-sized area just to buy a bolt that is usually only sold in hardware stores.The staff is always helpful and cordial. And, with their assistance in addition to the size of the store, you can be in and out of the store with what you need in the fraction of the time compared to big-box retailers.

I found the most beautiful petunias 8 have ever seen at Ace. Supertunias are amazing in their depth of color. Then there is the gorgeous Black Magic petunia, which accent the Supertunias quite nicely. I realize they arent sold exclusively at Ace, but Ill forever associate my new favorite flowers with Ace.

I ordered some tools online for curbside pickup. It was convenient and quick. The staff were friendly. I asked a question and she did not hesitate to call her supervisor for details. Overall, a positive experience for a curbside pickup.

I went in there to get seals for my water pump for washing machine. The more experienced employee refused to help me. The younger guy sold me the wrong seals. I called about a shower arm for my mobile home. I got some kid that didnt know what he was doing a kept asking me to repeat what I was saying. This store has steadily gone down hill with customer service. Nobody greats me when I come in. Nobody asks if I need help. When I do get someone to helps its someone that doesnt know what theyre doing.

Tim is an outstanding and very knowledgeable manager who went above and beoyond to help me find the perfect birthday gift. Ordered the 22 Weber smokey mountain grill (on backorder). Excellent communication from start to finish. Really great service. Employees helped me find each item and offered several times to load heavy items into my vehicle. They even offered alternatives and tips on items that may fit my needs best. I was able to purchase sandbags for the winter weather, and a bar of shampoo with natural ingredients (which very few vendors in this area carry) among other items.

Truly a great local hardware store. Prices might be a little higher than the big box stores, but the service level is infinitely better.

Selection is limited. This is more of a quick stop hardware store. Prices seem comparable to other stores for most of the items Ive purchased here. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They seem to be familiar with their products.

They have pretty much everything you might need for your diy projects or even workshops. The prices are a little bit high compared to what you might find online, but the thing is I normally cant wait for a week until they send me a pair of pliers or a roll of electric tape. The other thing is I would never buy a tool without hefting it in my hands to see how it actually feels. So, Ace hardware, recommended!

We love the service that we receive at the WL Ace where we shop. Prices are a bit higher but we like that we can buy 4 bolts and not an entire package and always have someone who can immediately direct and help us find what we need. My wife, however, is not crazy about all of the Kitsch that now has taken over the front of the store; it looks way too cluttered...maybe concentrate on the hardware ? Love the garden center now...And maybe specialize in just a few bird feeders of each type? The more stuff hanging, the more difficult it is to see what the stock is...

I desperately needed tiny screws for a class I was taking. I had searched at Sears and Walmart and neither store had them small enough. When I walked into Ace, I was instantly greeted, taken right to the screws, and the worker helped me find exactly the right screw I needed. I was in and out in about 5 minutes.

That Cody guy is AMAZING at his job. If you are lucky enough to walk in while he is working, he will help you find the perfect lightbulb in a flash. Lol get it flash because its a light bulb😂
