Big 5 Sporting Goods has the best backpack selection that I can find in the Salt Lake Valley.

The people who work here are nice and are helpful. When I was looking for a bicycle they seemed quick to help take the bicycle off the wall.

This Big 5 is excellent!! They have so much in such a small space. The managers are great to work with. This is a great place to buy shoes for the whole family, camping gear and so much more!

Ive been here a couple of times to get the gear needed to get started in the sport of Pickleball. I also got a jump rope and some ping pong stuff. Big 5 is a really good place to go to get started in a new sport or just to update your sports gear.

Not the best customer service. There is hardly any sales associates to help, especially in the boots/shoes section.I came in to buy a pair of hiking boots, and just my luck they were having a huge sale. You do have to wait for someone to go in the back and bring your size out.If you are looking for lower end hiking boots, but will hold up for years, this is the place to shop.

The store was empty but that was ok with me (covid). They got a excellent selection of camping gear and tons of sporting goods. I got a couple pairs of sweatpants for a really really good deal! The sales associates were helpful and not overly attentive. The cashier was very friendly.

You can find most of your sporting goods without hitting the big box.

Went to buy an item bought the item and went to parking lot to try on.since dressing rooms were closed. Used a coupon for 5.00 off then went to exchange the item for a larger size,and the Manager Cindy said you cannot use the coupon again trying to charge me the extra 5.00 within minutes .Then she got all mean.Very unethical.and will be going elsewhere for now on

I take an 9 1/2 shoe (wide). They didnt have the shoe or color that I wanted in that size.

Big 5 has quite a large variety of items in a relatively small space. Its great to get something when you dont have time to wait for it online. They are usually slightly more expensive than the big online retailers, but the convenience of being local makes it worth it.Im not a big fan of how they inflate their prices so it makes their sales on items look more enticing. That being said, the sale prices are still pretty good.I like how their sales staff is very helpful in finding what I want and usually able to answer my questions on their products.

Big 5 on 9000S is my neighborhood go to store for sports equipment. The staff in the store are friendly and eager to help.

Big Five is requiring a mask to shop in their store now. I will no longer shop at any Big 5 store. Very disappointed!! I went to Scheels instead and found a better pair of Nike baseball cleats that were on sale for $24. Super Happy and will shop here from now on.

Great for most needs. They seem to usually have what I need. My kids get basketball, soccer and baseball supplies. My wife gets exercise equipment. If you need anything really specialized, go to a specialty store.I tried to get shoes/hiking boots there, but they only have 2 styles that will fit my size 14 foot.

We were looking for life jackets, and almost everywhere you go places are sold out, Big 5 had a few left and they were very helpful in finding what we were looking for.

I am an online shopper, but sometimes you need things now. I had not ever been to a Big 5 prior to my visit here. The store was very full (cluttered) and hard to maneuver with a stroller (we have twins), but I was able to get around in a round about manner. We needed some soccer cleats for my daughter and they had an ok selection. When we checked out the cashier added a coupon to our order which I appreciated since I spent most of my visit looking online for a coupon to give up. Overall the staff was very friendly and professional and I would definitely recommend this place if you have a sporting need.

Wow what a selection in guns......(sarcasm) we bought a 22 here and the scope was so far off it could not be sighted into alignment. Typically I wouldnt shop here since the whole preachy we no longer sell x and y guns cuz they scary BS, but alas it was on sale. The majority of their products strike me as being almost dollar store quality with the exception of a few items.

Big 5 Sporting Goods, 1390 W 9000 S, West Jordan, UT 84088 has some good stuff. I think you can find the same stuff on line or at other stores for better prices. But I always like getting their adds and looking at what they offer. They do have a good variety of sporting goods.

Bam! Always love coming to Big 5,ever since I was a little kid. One of my favorite stores. My kids love coming here as well and its hard to say no when they ask for something, because how can you say no to active sport gear?

My experience at the 9000 S store was great. I was promptly assisted when I got there, the employees where very professional and knew their status of their inventory. They had everything on their advertisement ad and I was able to get exactly what I needed. Very satisfied with this store.

Horrible customer service, I was in the store for maybe 30 sec before i was kicked out, i was told there was a NO Browsing policy and was asked to leave, I knew what I wanted, but didnt need someone to hold my hand while I shopped. I called Big 5 corporate office and was told that they have NEVER implemented that policy before in any of there stores. I will never go back there again...

Management is ignorant of our laws. I choose to leave and shop elsewhere.

Just remember you get what you pay for. Sometimes Ill take risk and buy something from China but more often nowadays I feel so much better buying American product for five times the price because I know its not going to piss me off later on.

Great store, They have always been helpful. This year on my 7 year old baseball on of the other players mom was going through treatment for breast cancer. We went to Big 5 to get pink socks for all of the boys on the team. When they found out what the socks were for they gave us a discount.

Ive always enjoyed the feeling you get stepping into a big 5. Prices are pretty good and service is great. Returns are easy and simple.

Call in advance to expire find a specific product, and the young lady who answered the phone was very helpful. When I got there they were very helpful the two young ladies behind the desk, there are several young men standing around the couldnt be bothered. I found that little bit annoying they could have done better so the four star reviews for the two young ladies behind the counter.

Ive come here off and on for years to buy shoes, and they always have cheaper prices on good quality shoe, including Nike, Adidas, Reebok, etc. I actually went in on Black Friday to get new walk around shoes, and they took the price down by $20 with me having to join a membership program or do anything else.

Big 5 is unde rated, they have great service and lots of sales like all the time. Its also literally never crowded and so you can get in and out perty quick. Just recently bought a punching bag here for some kids and I was happy with the knowledgeable staff and friendly smiles.

Prices for pickleball paddles need to come down, but excellent selection of shoes.

Had the exact sports items for soccer that I was looking for, really good prices also. The store feels a little cramped, tons of stuff smashed into a smaller place compared to Dicks or Sports Authority.

Struggled to find a shoe in the color and size my child wanted. The man who helped us was very kind however and we eventually found what she needed. Im so grateful for the coupons theyve been sending out monthly. Such a big help to my budget. Because of the coupons, this is the first place I go to for shoes that arent dress shoes.
