Well, it was worn out so Y&Y Studio made me a new one, no two, exactly like it out of French linens. Its so beautiful and makes me feel good every time I wear it. I broke the zipper on my bridesmaids dress 4 days before I was leaving for my sisters wedding. After I had a full blown panic attack I started googling furiously, unfortunately for me it was a Sunday and no one was open. Lucky for me Yrma called me back that same day and was able to get me in the next morning and had my dress finished overnight! Not only did she replace the zipper but also corrected the underlying problem that caused the zipper to fail! Excellent service, super nice, quick turn around and amazing work. I will yell it from the roof tops. Thanks you Y and Y for restoring my sanity.

I had a great experience! I was a little nervous at first about leaving my wedding dress in the care of another person. As soon as I stepped in I was greeted and all my nerves went away. She was very nice, professional, as well as knowledgeable. I had 3 fittings in total. Each time I had a great experience. When I first got my dress it hung off my body weird, but thanks to yandystudio I can say with full confidence that this is the dress that I have always envisioned.

Words do not express how grateful I am for Y and Y Studio specifically Yurma the owner. I picked up my wedding dress from a different alteration company and the dress was a mess. We called Yurma at 6 PM and saw her the same night at 9 PM. In 4 days Yurma, completely transformed my dress into exactly what I wanted and I could not be happier. She truly understands the structure of dresses and how dresses should look on each persons body. She was 100% committed to ensure I left a happy customer. 100% recommend!

I got my wedding dress altered and my daughters flower girl dress. They did great on the flower girl dress, fit perfectly. I felt like I was not treated very well here since they had to reschedule 2 times on me when I had to rearrange my schedule to make it to these appts. The last appt Yrma had to sew in the cups for my dress and when I got home I saw that they had missed a side of one and the pin was still in there. After seeing that I looked over all of my dress and the inseam where they had to undo to put in a button for my train to be pinned up, they never sewed the inseam so it was wide open. I called and left them a message of the things they missed and never got any call back. I had to sew those two things myself, even through it’s something no one will be able to see, I just expected them to do a better job at the finite details and not reschedule on brides the way they did with me, very unprofessional.

We had a very difficult wedding dress that needed a lot of alterations, they were amazing! I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. She is a designer and understands how to make the garment absolutely perfect! I have had two weddings dresses altered here and I would never go anywhere else! Also very affordable!

I was married last month and took my dress here for alterations leading up to my big day. Honestly is was such a wonderful experience. I had never done alterations before, so going to a professional who told you exactly what to expect and explained why she had to do things a certain way was reassuring. She made the best decisions keeping in mind my budget. I didnt feel like I was being taken advantage of. The work was wonderful. The appointments were well organized and the seamstress was so nice! Really great time working with these ladies and I would recommend them for any alterations you need.

I took in a dress, for a wedding, to be altered. When I picked it up right before the wedding, it was poorly altered. The bodice no longer fit, it was uncomfortable to wear, and and it didnt looked right. I had to pay a second person to adjust it and make it look good again

The owner is wonderful to work with and really came through on a rush order we had! She does a fabulous job and has great ideas to offer when wanting to make a dress more modest. We love her and recommend her for any alterations or clothing make overs!!

My sister came home from her mission 1 week before my wedding and they were able to take an immodest dress and make it cover garments in less than a week for her. The quality of work is some of the best I have ever seen. I was very happy with the service and will always recommend it to brides. Not only the miracle with my sister, but she made sure my dress was everything I wanted and took care of my other bridesmaids. I loved working with them!

Called and made a appointment! Yrma was great about getting me in quick! I procrastinated and got my dress altered at the last minute and she had it done in less than a week!!! Please use someone else....I wanted to like this place, but the entire process was a disaster. We called to have a bustle put onto my daughters wedding dress originally. I had made a small alteration already to the dress and am knowledgeable about sewing, but didnt want to stress about doing more myself. We were quoted $8 per bustle (needed 3-4). When we arrived to the first appointment, the seamstress said that we needed all kinds of work on the dress: take off the sleeves, shorten the shoulder, take in the sides, shorten the hem AND the bustle. The quote for all was $145 (more then the cost of the dress). She wanted to undo my small alteration because it would be better. On the 3rd fitting, the bustles werent done and although shed taken out my original alterations, the dress was back to not fitting in the bodice (it had fit great with what I had done). She forgotten to hem the dress, so we had to leave it again. Now we were 1 week before the wedding. She talked us into the buying a $10 wedding bag- Now her daughter was in ICU, which was very sad and unfortunate, but we were totally stressed to get it in time. We came for the 4th fitting and the dress was much too tight now, it still didnt sit well in the bodice. She had still forgotten the bustles (which was the whole reason we brought it in). The dress was looking grubby and there was pet hair all over it. We waited why she did the bustles. THE BUSTLES DID NOT HOLD UP ON THE WEDDING DAY!!! Also, it was still too tight so we had to leave it again. My daughter picked up the dress two days before the wedding. When we got it home we had to re-steam the dress. My daughter tried it on at home and we realized that the lady had sewed one of the bustles up inside the middle of the dress- we had to unpick it ourselves, because it was the night before and there was a major snowstorm to go back. We were driving to the temple on the wedding day when we realized shed kept the bag she sold us and now it was too late to do anything. We were already running late. We walked into the temple with a dress half hanging out of a JCPennys bag- so tacky! We asked her to refund the cost of the bag, since we never got it and she refuses. I understand she wanted to go on vacation after the first sitting and then the whole family emergency caused her mind to be in another place, but it ruined the event for us and the dress wasnt at its best for what wed paid.

Yrma is seriously a goddess! Im going to write all of the good reviews for everyone to see. I didnt know it until I went to Yrma for a quote but it turns out my wedding dress was a size 18! I am at the most a size 8 depending on the dress. My dress is also full of intricate lace. She resized a dress and I picked it up yesterday and it is beautiful and now fits perfectly! She knows her craft and is very reasonably priced. She is also super sweet and personable. I highly recommend!

I had my dress altered by Y & Y studios and I never regretted it! I was able to move my appointment a few times without any issues which was great because I was also going to school at the time. Very unprofessional and irresponsible. I set up an appointment to altered my dress, for May 4th at 5:00pm. We arrived at 4:45pm, and Yrma wasnt even there, we called and she never answered... we waited for an hour, because the lady in the house said she was on her way, after waiting for an hour, we found out that Yrma didnt even had her phone, the lady lied to us, making us believe that she was on her way. She never showed up to my appointment, nor did she ever called to apologize. My experience there was horrible!. All I have to say is that they are very irresponsible and have no professionalism.
