I do NOT recommend at all. went their on an online appointment for 1:00 I went their and they said to my face that “online appointments aren’t a priority. So I gave them my information and gave them the keys. So I waited for 3 hours and 30 minutes. We went their at 1:00 and we went back at 4:30 and they haven’t even started. And their weren’t that much people. Like I said I do NOT recommend.

Just called. Needed a Coolant Valve replaced asap because my engine is overheating and I NEED my car to work. Im willing to pay top dollar at this point to get it done sometime within the week.Called. Asked if they could do this. After a pause and asking around, they started taking my information for the appointment so I guessed they could do it. Awesome. All is good until I tell them what is wrong and Ive had it diagnosed and even have the part. Guy tells me that Sorry, we dont use customer supplied parts. I say Okay. Thats it. Im expecting to have to deal with returning the part and paying extra for one through Firestone. No big deal. Except I hear a click and thats it. He hung up on me. No Anything else I can help you with or even a goodbye. Wow.You took down my phone number so I know it wasnt a disconnect. Not sure what me having a part has to do with you not being able to fix my car but now I see the reasons for all the bad reviews. I took a chance but man...

Brought in a rental car that needed an oil change. Went through the rental agency. Got there shortly after they opened and was advised the oil change guy had called out sick that morning. Made an appointment for later that day. Arrived for the appointment and about an hour later I was on my way out. Process was simple and the guy helping me was very straightforward. Today was a busy day with my sisters wedding engagements so being done in a reasonable time was a blessing!

I live in salt lake, 15 minutes away. I drive out here for oil changes and routine maintenance because they always do a great job and their prices are fair. If I dont need a service, they wont try to waste their time and my money by pushing it on me.

I’ve gone through two pairs of 80,000 mile Bridgestone warranty tires and a pair of blizzaks in less then 70,000 miles. The guy at the counter had the audacity to tell me I wore the tires (not the snow tires) out because I drove on the freeway too much. This is hands-down the worst shop I’ve ever been to I watched the entire shop go on lunch together and leave everyone sitting in the waiting room watching the car sitting there with nothing being done I don’t know who does the managing at this place but I can’t think of a worse plan then to let the entire place shut down and let all the customers sit there and watch you do nothing

Told me my car needed 1,000 worth of work that according to the dealership and main st. Auto said absolutely not. Ended up costing me $200 to fix at the dealership, Then got an oil change they messed up, my car poured (leaked out)out the oil and they refused to fix it even though I had the dealership saying it was their mistake. They used to be trustworthy and I didnt take my car anyplace else, its sad to see the poor service and quality they offer now. P

Dont go here. They will do their best to hide the price from you until after theyve already worked on your vehicle and then they way overcharge, while also trying to force other services down your throat you didnt ask for. I was charged almost $100 for an oil change, I cant imagine what something more expensive would cost. I will never be coming here again.

I scheduled an appointment to get 4 new tires on my car along with an alignment. When I got there they put the new tires on my car, charged me, and then told me that they could not do the alignment. I wish they would have told me that before they put the new tires on because I would have went somewhere else. Now I have to schedule another appointment and waste another afternoon waiting on my car all while having to drive around with misaligned wheels. Furthermore, I hadnt even driven 10 blocks away when my tire-pressure light came on and I had to turn around and go back in. When I got back in I explained that I had just gotten new tires and now the light was on. They preceded to tell me that my car actually didnt have sensors in the wheels and that my car didnt have that warning light...and then they told me that it was supposed to be on. Over all, I have never seen worse customer service and lack of common car knowledge in my entire life. Do NOT trust them with your car.

I received a quote over the phone for new tires. Got in a few days later. The service was GREAT. He kept me updated on what was going on. It was quick and easy. I enjoyed how they got me new tires just in time for winter especially with across state traveling. I would highly recommend coming here

I gave a star for it because this place did alignment service not good at all. I picked up my vehicle after algnment service, but my vehicle is still lobsiding. And I called for recheck, but manager said his paperwork showed everything was good, and he said he doesnt have time to recheck today. Never do anything at this place again.Not recommended!

Rating is based on the actions of the mechanics. My middle console was dug through for whatever reason. Just went in for an oil change, they have no business going through my things inside of my car. Note to future customers: dont leave anything valuable in your car especially if you leave it there (I was waiting in store while this happened) I will most likely be taking my business else where.

Disappointing customer service. We initially brought in our car to have the brakes changed last month only to quickly find out they messed something up. We took it back today when they had an opening and were told they would fix the problem in three hours and to expect a call when they are done. We waited for four hours in West Jordan because we had no other mode of transportation and they did not call. We called to be told that they didn’t have the parts and we would have to leave the car overnight. They would not give us a time frame for when the parts would be in or when the car would be done. We are now left taking the bus back home-a one and a half hour trip. All around very frustrated and will not be using Firestone again.

Dishonest mechanic shop. Took my car in for an inspection and they told me I needed new shocks, struts, and control arms for a regular Honda Accord. Total cost? $2,900. I typically work on my own cars-- this job (which doesnt need to be done) is only about $300 in parts if I use nice stuff and buy entire control arms rather than just replacing bearings. They quoted me $1700 in parts alone.They also said my alternator and power steering pump were bad. Went and had AutoZone test my alternator and its perfectly fine. My power steering pump is perfect-- no leaks or whining sounds. Literally go anywhere else than here if you dont want to get scammed.

FIRESTONE HAS FOREVER LOST MY BUSINESS.I was a customer with Firestone for years. My dad taught me everything I know about cars. I went in recently for two specific reasons: to find out why my brake pads were squeaking and get them replaced, and also to have a tire leak repaired. NEITHER were done. After speaking with them A MONTH later about it, they claimed that it was just dust in the brake pads and that maybe the patch came off. Unacceptable.

The last two times I’ve gotten an oil change at this location, I made appointments and was waiting there for the oil to be complete. Both times confirmed they had my cell on file and requested they call my cell phone when completed, not the land line for my permanent residence in another state. Both times they called the landline. When politely checking on the status of my vehicle because an oil change doesn’t take two hours, both times their staff blamed me, were rude and basically said that the delays are my fault because they can’t figure out what number to call when work is completed. Do yourself a favor go somewhere else where they won’t blame you for their customer service mistakes.

I take my 2013 Subaru Impreza there for regular oil changes. This place is amazing! Ive had nothing but great experiences here! I plan on changing my rotors and brake pads there when I can. They claimed it was due to something wrong with my suspension. I took it to another place and they found nothing wrong with the suspension and were able to bring it into alignments.

Most of the maintenance on my car has been done by firestone and if not it’s by hand.We were devastated to find out that they were all closing except for one. Their customer service goes above and beyond. I definitely recommend this place to get some auto repairs done or even just a check up. Great store! Friendly people! Super fast and efficient!

I stopped by this morning because I had a nail in my tire. I needed a simple patch. I was immediately advised that if I wanted it repaired, they could get the car back to me in 2-3 days! When I asked if that’s really the timeline for a tire repair, he said that’s the timeline for anything, even an oil change. How is that a plausible option? I went elsewhere, where I got the tire patched in 15 minutes, no issue. If you expect people to wait that long for a simple service, you’re not going to have much luck. I think at this point, I’m done with Firestone.

They have a great and thorough team who took great care of my truck- I took it in for an alignment and they let me know a headlight and brake light was out as well- I love it when businesses go the extra step to help make sure my vehicle is safe! I bought new tires and a lifetime alignment about 8 months ago. About a day or 2 after the tire sensor light came on in my car. Today I brought my car in for a hole in one of my tires and to get balancing and rotating done. Youd think that brand new tires would come with balancing and rotating but it only came with rotating so I was going to have to pay for balancing. The guy behind the counter, I think his name was Kevin argued with me that my car never had tpms. Well the light was never on for the 2 years I had my car up till the day after I bought the new tires. He argued that there would be no reason for them to take the sensors and only put in rubber valve stems. He said if I could get proof theyd do something for me so I went out to my car and was looking at some of the paperwork I had when he came out and knocked on my window and told me that the tpms is built into the ABS system on my car. If thats the case and since the light came on right after they worked on it, Im wondering what they did to my car to make the low pressure sensor light come on. Plus the first time I was there they asked if I wanted them to replace the air filter and I told them no but yet when I started to drive away the car didnt sound right. Come to find out they didnt put the air filter cover back on. On this visit they were supposed to have balanced, rotated and fixed the hole in my tire. All my tires except the one with the hole in it had black stem covers. The one with the hole didnt have anything on it at all. The tire they supposedly fixed, now has a gray valve stem cover but yet the tire is still in the same exact location it was before which is the drivers side rear so it seems as though they didnt actually rotate my tires like they said they did. Very very frustrating with horrible customer service and with this being the only Firestone in the state of Utah makes me want my money back from the lifetime alignment I paid for because I never want to go back to this location again. Plus... What did they do to my car the first time to screw up my tire sensor light? Ill be spreading the word to never go to this Firestone.

This location initially refused to honor our lifetime alignment contract purchased at the Murray store, which supposed to be good at any Firestone in the USA. Firestone closed down most of the stores in Utah, and left us with no other options to get the work done. The manager is trying to hit us for another $200 rather than honoring the contract.After some contacts with the corporate office, the problem magically disappeared, and the store decided to honor the deal payed through a different store.Its very frustrating that you have to go through headaches like this when simply trying to get what you paid for.Update: The manager convinced my wife to leave the car there to get the work done, and promised the car would be finished by the end of work day (6pm), requiring us to leave the car there instead of doing it at the appointed time that we planned on (noon). We left the car, and came back to get it, and S-U-R-P-R-I-S-E! it hadnt been touched, despite repeated assurances by the site manager the car would be done. This wasted 4 man hours of my familys time (2 people to drop it off, 2 to pick it up, and 1 hours travel each trip), not to mention the gasoline and incredible frustration that accompanies dealing with these clowns.I have lost any/all regard that this store has a clue what they are doing, and will be finding another location for the service on my familys cars. I will also be asking for (and suing for if they dont) a refund on the lifetime alignment deals that we have through Firestone on every car in our driveway.Its also humorous that the morning of 5/6/19 we received an e-mail from Firestone confirming our booked appointment at Noon on 5/4/19.5/9/19 Update: I e-mailed Firestone customer service as offered, and thy have not responded 3 days later. More of the same lip service.Remove review5/14/19 Update: They contacted me via e-mail on 5/10/19 with a promise to resolve it within 48hrs, still nothing 4 days later.​​5/20/19 Update: Still lip service about how the customer is so important, and they are going to make this right. Called in earlier in the week for an alignment, was told if I dropped it off saturday they could squeeze my vehicle in, employee asked for my name/number/vehicle and said well see you Saturday. Showed up saturday morning and was told they could no longer do it. I wasted time driving there, took off time from work to drop it off, wasted the time of my ride, and was treated poorly. I planned a road trip and now my alignment will be off the whole trip and I have no time to schedule an alignment elsewhere. A simple call beforehand telling me they no longer could service my vehicle would have saved so much time. Looks like my arm is going to be dead holding the steering wheel straight for a couple thousand miles and the Bridgestone brand tires I bought from Firestone are going to wear out way before their estimated lifespan.

The worst customer service I’ve ever seen, I went in to get my tire patched and every single bay was empty accept one so I thought ok it will be pretty quick so I told them to also do an oil change. I waited and waited and waited for over an hour while 3 mechanics just stood talking in the shop (one was pretending to clean the floor every once in awhile) so I got up and told them to give me my keys and the guy didn’t want to, he said they were just getting ready to start on my tire, but I had other appointments and couldn’t sit and watch firestone employees Hang out all day. Went next door and had an oil change done in less than 20 minutes. Take your business anywhere else!!

They advised although I am 3000 miles overdue on rotation the best they can do is schedule me an appointment for after our family trip in two weeks where we will be driving 6 hours south. Now Ill have to pay for something twice and go somewhere else to buy a tire rotation.

I live in the Sugarhouse area and normally go to the 3300 S 900 E location. When I found out that my store had been closed and then discovered that my closest Firestone location was in West Jordan I considered going to Burt Brothers near me instead.I have been satisfied with Firestone in the past so I decided to give West Jordan a try. When I made my appointment for tire rotation, tire balance, oil change and alignment, the tech informed me that they might not be able to do the alignment because they were double booked that day.No problem, I was happy to get the other services done that day because of leaving town on a road trip on Tuesday. Especially considering the load they were carrying with so many other locations down.They performed way beyond my expectations and I was very impressed with everyone I interacted with. I love this place. Every time Ive been there the manager was very polite. Ill tell you a story. My mom was going on a trip from Utah to Wyoming and I told her to check her tire pressure. Well, the stem started leaking air after she checked it. She brought her truck over to these guys and they fixed it with no charge. They also checked all other tires and filled them up to the standard. No questions asked!P.S. My girlfriend and I have a lifetime alignment and tire rotation deal with Firestone. And we love the service and attitude!

Have been trying to schedule an appointment for a month, a oil change before the 3,000th mile and all wheel alignment but the phone just rings and rings. Walked in today to see if able to drop vehicle off and was told they were too busy. I said that I understood so asked about dropping it off Saturday morning and was told they were too busy that day as well - blaming it on a new hire that was still getting into the rhythm of the job.

Been a customer for over 20 years but this incident was unacceptable. First their website says the store closes on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. so, went down at 6:30 to pick up my car and guess what? Theyre closed at 6:00!! Told them to call my cell phone when repair is completed and they left a message on my home phone. Also, they left my car in the parking lot unlocked instead of bringing it into the shop especially when theyre closed on Sundays. Wasted my time!!!!!

I went to this location to get some tires and an alignment. They discovered I had some bad parts that needed replaced (as I suspected).I didn’t expect that my front brakes needed to be replaced since I just did them myself. This was a red flag so I got the tires and a second opinion. My second opinion showed me what wasn’t wrong with my car and what was.Firestone said I needed an inner tie rod replaced... not true. It was an outer tie rod.My front brakes looked brand new (go figure).Firestone also installed the wrong size tires on my car.I’m currently sitting at discount tire getting my other tires replaced. They don’t know why Firestone would put 65s on my car when the size is listed on the door jam of my car.Dude... seriously?Also, don’t bother making an appointment. I made one for 3:30 and they didn’t get to my car until 4:30. I even showed up 15 minutes early.

I was told, by customer service, Burt Bro.s would honor my paid tire warranty. When I called them they refused. So I had to drive across the valley to be told they were so busy, they couldnt do a simple, five minute repair without me leaving the tire overnight, then wanted me to wait 3-4 hours just to put it back on. You Dont make customers wait hours for a Simple tire repair. My husband had to put the tire back on, when I got home. They didnt even trim the plug nor take out the gravel to check for other punctures. I will Not buy Firestone again.

I called in on a Tuesday morning (May 7th, keep this date in mind) and asked how much it would be to dismount 4 tires off of the wheels, nothing special just 4 16 wheels that came off a grand cherokee. I would dispose of everything just needed them dismounted. The gal told me that it would be $70...... wait what? $70 to dismount 4 tires, you have to be kidding me! She than continued to say that there is no way that they could get to it, that they are booked out til the end of May 🤔. Your booked out an entire month? yea right. I called Discount Tire and Big O and they both said $5 per tire, they were busy but if I could drop them off that theyd squeeze them in. Now thats what Im talking about, good customer service. I have a Jeep Cherokee and was time to replace my brakes. I did the front myself but didnt have the equipment to do the rear. Had the pads and just needed to pay someone to replace them. Firestone told me they cant do that service unless I buy the pads directly from them. Apparently they dont want business unless every little thing goes through them. I used to use Firestone often and I liked going to them, now with business acumen like that, lost my trust and business. For crying out loud, take the business and help someone whose willing to pay for your labor. No need to nickle and dime people for every little thing.

I needed a windshield wiper replaced and there was never a convenient time to do it in my schedule. So I just pulled up in their parking lot and called them on the phone since I had a sleeping baby in the car. They said they could come out to me and I didnt even have to leave my car. They also filled up my windshield washer fluid which was empty. And he was very cheerful and helpful. Good price too. I will use again.

Got an appointment specifically to get my brakes done. After 2 hrs of them looking at my car, they let me know that they couldnt get them done that day (no employee trained on resurfacing rotors). I needed them done so set up another appointment. Im currently at my second appointment. I have been waiting for 2 hours for just the front brakes. Two customers have walked in and had their full brakes done in the time that Ive been waiting on only my front brakes. I gave them a second chance, and I am regretting it.

This has become the only place I bring my truck. All the staff are professional and friendly. They treat me like a friend. Always let me know the specials and all options for my vehicle. Prices are always up front and all work is guaranteed. I use to have my truck serviced at the dealership, but now firestone can do it all. This is the one stop shop. I wont be going any place else.

I do ALL my own maintenance except tires and alignment. Got an alignment here because 1) They said they knew how to use my alignment bushings on my lift kit for my Ford Ranger and 2) they are the only ones to offer a lifetime alignment service (Big deal for me when I do my own maintenance). My first DAY there they pulled my truck in right away and got started on it. I could see the techs crawling all over my truck checking EVERYTHING. Coolant levels and color, transmission fluid, engine oil, tire pressure, steering linkage. I think one guy even pulled out a battery tester? 30 minuets in they finally put the alignment equipment on. 15 minuets later they called me up to say everything that was wrong with my truck, and I told him why that stuff was that way or I knew about that (wasting mine and their time). He tried to sell me tires, when my current ones A/Ts only had 5,000 miles. An oil change when my current one didnt even have 200 miles on it. then he said my bearings were shot in the front and that they couldnt do an alignment until they were fixed. He quoted me $250. I declined and said I could do them myself in an hour for under $50. They made me pay for the alignment I did not receive, but no big deal, ill be back tomorrow. Went home, fixed it and went back the next day. I told him not to waste our time by having the techs check all the while youre here, this needs fixed stuff they did the day before and do whats necessary to align it. They did just that, and 45 minuets later the tech himself got me and explained everything he did and why he did it. Was very nice about it and im pleased with the job he did. I would never have these guys fix anything else because they look for things to be done. Knowing my own maintenance record I knew that most of the things they said needed fixing, did not need to be fixed. They are not honest in their price quotes or in what is broken, but they knew how to align my truck. And they did a good job.

Terrible service. They had my car all day to do a simple alignment. After more than 8 hours, I got a call that it was finished. When I went to get my car, it was still on the rack. I asked the mechanic why it was not finished yet although I got a call saying that it was. He said that he didnt know why but that he had not done the alignment. Nothing had actually been done on my car. This is the second time this has happened in the last 6 months

I have been a Firestone customer for over 16 years, I currently own two vehicles and have been coming to this specific location for over three years. My last visit was the worst experience I’ve had in dealing with a simple car maintenance task. I made an appointment at 5:00pm, dropped off at 4:50pm and my car wasn’t finished until 6:30pm for a simple oil change and tire rotation. There is a total break down of management and leadership at this location, if all of the locations in Utah have closed then why aren’t there more mechanics working at this Firestone store?Your reviews on google for this store have been declining and I sat here for over an hour watching over half a dozen customers get treated like second class citizens who simply wanted to get their vehicles fixed or maintained so they could get to work the next day. I didn’t see a single customer leave happy or satisfied with what was done or the lack of what was done on their vehicle.EDIT: I went out to my car and noticed they failed to even rotate my tires although they claimed they did, they tried to pull a fast one but got caught. I only have one tire that has road rash and I just did it and low and behold it was in the same location as when I turned the vehicle in.

Say they are backed up for weeks because owners closed a bunch of stores in the area, well.. I have a lot of warranty services I paid for, now I have to wait days?! Going to have to go somewhere else, dont waste your time. These owners need to fix this...huge disservice to existing customers.

Tires were damaged on a Sunday and they were very busy but called and Michael fit us in and helped us get it fixed very very quick. It was so nice of him and he was very friendly and helpful! Definitely going to go back because of him!

Super busy but the staff members were friendly, helped me get a good pair of tires. Came back a second time for my tire rotation. Not busy at all and they got me in immediately. They rotated and balanced my tires as is promised once buying tires from them. However they replaced my hubcaps incorrectly. The tire stem was not in the spot where the tire stem should go and the front two tires are missing the tires stem caps. This is not the kind of customer service I expect from Firestone. May 27, 2017 tried calling to see if I could get an appointment to rotate my tires, the guy said he would send me to the service department waited 5 minutes and nobody answered. I called again and they hung up on me.... Can I take away my one star?

I went in to have a nail repaired. The tire was too worn to be safe to replace. They offered to do it for free, even throw my spare on when they saw it wasnt repairable. Did all they could to help, and didnt try to make a dime.
