Beginning of August 2020, I placed an order for a marble table and prepaid 50% with the sales team at the Knoll Home Design Shop in Los Angeles.Initial delivery was quoted for November, 12 weeks from date of purchase.Its now March 2021, seven months later and I still havent received the table I ordered and by now have paid for in full.Knolls delivery service provider, RYDER Last Mile, had scheduled appointments for delivery twice just to cancel ON THE DAY OFF DELIVERY!!!Once, I had to sit in a phone line for at least an hour until I was notified that they actually were not in possession of the table and that delivery had been scheduled mistakenly. On a second occasion the exact same thing happened but this time I was told the table had been damaged.Fast forward several weeks, a third delivery is scheduled. This time RYDER Last Mile shows up with the wrong table!!! KNOLL basically is outsourcing the most crucial part, the final delivery, to a company without holding the firm accountable for proper service to the customer.Knoll since apologized and provided a loaner table for the duration till I receive my order. Im now told delivery is scheduled for June 2021. This is ten months post my order date and seven months post scheduled delivery.Extremely disappointment in Knoll and certainly will explore other alternatives going forward.
