Great service, they are very honest people. Chris really made sure that my vehicle was in good condition. They don’t seem like the type of people who will try to sell you more than you need. I took my 21 yr old Camry in for an oil change which was completed on time at a fair price. My bonus was that Raj, Chris and his tech gave me the thumbs up that nothing else needed to be done. Since I was driving 500 miles RT to Syracuse, that thumbs up confirmation that the car was without any safety issues, gave me one less thing to worry about. Bravo!

Went in for an Oil Change, they stripped a bolt and sold me a bolt for 15 dollars then told me I need a 700 dollar oil pan replacement... these guys are thieves. I recommend learning to change you’re own oil or find friends that can. This place also has the worst experience. Never going here again.

Installing an exhaust system.The absolute worst experience ever. Ill never go there again.If you want to get ripped off go there.Get inexperienced mechanic screw up your car. The mechanic doesnt know how to open a nut and bolt. They cut them by manifold then use clamps connect muffler to manifold.The mechanic doesnt know how to connect oxygen sensor to the muffler.

Took my car to Midas as brakes were squeaking. The mechanic checked and found nothing wrong with the brakes and cleaned the dust dust trapped between rotors and pads. Did not charge any money. Very honest and professional.

I show up ten minutes to closing time. I wanted to get a Wheel Balance and a Tire Rotation and to my surprise they actually did it for me. So how can I say anything negative about this place. Good service and fast.

Midas in West Hempstead is a RIP-OFF. After i took my car there the Check Engine Light was still coming on. When I went back they tried to charge me $500 for a part that only cost $100.

Ive been coming here for a few years. Yes, theyre pricey. Your local mechanic will be cheaper. The difference is this place can do same day repairs, not 3-5 days from now. My most recent trip was for my alternator. I can save a little and take the bus/train to work for like 3 days, or go to work the same day by car. Thats how good Midas is.

I took my car to this Midas for some noise from the front end .They checked and found it just needed alignment.Did not try to see me other stuff . Ever since the noise is gone .They have very good and qualified mechanics and they are very honest.

I’ve been delivering pizzas for about 4 years and whenever I feel there is a problem with my vehicle, I go to Midas. I remember the first time I came across these guys. I came in and was professionally greeted with the manager Raj who immediately spoke to me on why I came into their shop that day. Explained to him how I only wanted an oil change. Raj then informed me of their courtesy check where they inspect the car for free. Comes back to me with a few problems with the vehicle. I suspected they would tell me that but what earned my trust was that they showed me everything they said was wrong and throughly explained the problems instead of just telling me what was wrong. So I decided to get everything fixed because it made sense and was given a great price altogether. When I drove my vehicle out the parking lot I immediately felt the difference from before I brought it to Midas to after. The drive felt smoother, I felt more control over the vehicle, and overall just a more comfortable ride from before. The roads in the town I deliver in aren’t the best and delivering full time really does do a number on your vehicle. Every time I want to get my vehicle maintenanced I go here. They’re a great team and do a great job. Every time I get my vehicle maintenanced, I wouldn’t have to go back for awhile because of a great job they do.4 years later and I still come here even though I moved to a different town. My last maintenance I decided to go to a shop down the block from my house because I was a couple towns away from Midas. First time ever going somehwere different. They did give give me a price but it was a price that was way higher than what I’m normally used to paying. Decided to get it done and within two months the vehicle felt to deteriorate. Getting worn out quicker than usual. Never again am I going to another shop. Decided to go back to Midas because everytime the car feels brand new when I leave there and at a great price and I wouldn’t go back anytime soon. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

I went to Midas for a simple brake change because my caliper was rubbing on my rotor. I told Chris, the customer service rep, that I was going upstate so to please check and make sure everything is good to go. After they took my car in, Chris tells me I need to change all my brakes and rotors. I only came in to change 1 caliper and if the rotors were done, then rotors and pads. My budget did not cover 4 rotors, 1 caliper, and pads. Nonetheless, I agreed to change the rear pads and rotors and the caliper that was an issue. $630 dollars later to change one caliper, two rotors and pads, I was done. I was off to Albany. On the way, I kept hearing a persistent banging and clanging from the rear. Once I reached Albany, I went to a Midas in Latham and they told me the techs from the Midas in West Hempstead forgot to secure my caliper in place with the bolts and screws.I got nickel and dimed for EVERYTHING they did. They charged me over 110$ in labor alone. Had I know this was the experience and price I would have paid I would never have gone there in the first place. I have shops that I am a regular customer at that does not charge me labor for a simple brake bleed.After paying over 600$ for a brake change, you would think that the workers are competent enough to do their jobs.If I had an accident on my way to Albany and the cause was brake failure, Midas would have been hearing from my lawyer right now and not hearing from me.Would not recommend to anyone who aren’t stupid and are aware about shops and how much of a scam they are. But if you don’t care about paying 1000$ for a 200$ job then Midas is the place for you.

Very dishonest. Today is my 2nd and last time at this place. I went in to change front break pads only, I know for a fact the rotors did not need to be changed, but the manager Mr. Rajid told me they needed to be replaced because they are too old, and its for my safety... And blah blah blah... I told him I dont want to replace the rotors at this moment, Mr. Rajid decided to be very rude and dishonest, he changed what he had offered me, and didnt give me the life time warranty because I did not replace the rotors with them, mind you, he offered me lifetime warranty for the pads when I first went in there. Be careful, they will tell you that you have to replace some parts eventough they are still in good shape.Also, do yourself a favor, check the other reviews, Mr. Rajid is known to be a lier... I went in around 2pm, I asked him a what time they close...? He said they close at 4pm, I checked the store hours and they actually close at 5pm. I had to rush to come back to get my vehicle at 3:20pm..when I got there the vehicle wasnt even ready, I had to wait until 4:30pm. Waste of time, I dislike people who lie in order to take your money... They just lost my business.

Of i can give 0 stars i would, worst experience will never go to this location again. Store manager Rajiv Dhir tells me there closing early at 4:00 today (01/14)when clearly the sign says 5:00 pm . When i received an email earlier that stated they might be backed up so i stopped by the place myself. Poor customer service a simple oil change when yu have 1 car waiting does not take an hour to do. I will never recommend this place to any one!!!!
